DO NOT take your car hear or trust a word that comes out of Roger s mouth he is negligent and a fraud and if you ask around town has a reputation for being shady! He told me even after questioning it that my brakes were fine yet two weeks later my caliper is shot and my brakes are metal on metal and my car caught on fire. He also supposedly replaced my air bag sensors yet the light is still on and the issue is not fixed. When asked to produce them he said originally he couldn t even though by law he is to hold onto all parts for 30 days. When asked to produce an invoice for the sensors he supposedly bought brand new he couldn t and Beth said they take all there invoices home at the end of the day(suspicious if you ask me). When confronted he also blocked me in front of the door so I could not leave on my own accord without a fight about that where he said he wouldn t open the door for me yet his hand was on the handle and he would not move it. Ask any other mechanic about first choice and they will all hang their heads and say the work was probably not done and they just charge for it. If the work was actually done and done correctly there would be no issue.

They are very friendly.fast.and efficient and I love the pups in the office to keep u company while u waited also affordable. I love this place and the people I recommend them 100% 94an hr isn't bad

Always a pleasure dealing with 1st Choice Auto Repair. Roger is very reliable,pleasant,and thorough. He tells you the way it is and is very reasonably priced and never takes advantage of any of his customers. The Community is fortunate to have him and his business AFA PAUL TAV STAY SAFE.

Our car broke down in Bangor and we could only towed 100 miles. We chose Augusta as that was at least in the direction of our home in Mass.We were so fortunate to find 1st choice auto repair as they diagnosed and fixed our car and did it quickly and inexpensively!I heartily endorse the fine people and work they perform.Say hello to the dogs in the lobby for me when you get there!

I don't know why businesses prefer to hire old, condescending, unfriendly female receptionists who couldn't be kind to a younger, female patron if they tried. I see this a lot, they are only kind and respectful to male patrons and it's despicable. I can do your job far better and with a smile on my face and kindness for every customer. I see your attitude and I raise you a lost customer and income "What makes you think it needs a tune up?" very condescending like. I'm not sure, maybe my small mind can comprehend such things since I am thirty-four and have owned more than twenty vehicles, maybe I just want one. Rude.

These people are wonderful. I was so skeptical taking my car here when I was new to the area especially because I have a foreign hybrid. But they have done great service, they go out of their way to help and exceptionally fair not only price wise but if they can figure out how to save you money they will do it. I went in telling them I needed a very expensive job once based off what another mechanic said. They could have screwed me...but they were honest and did the cheaper fix. Happily recommend them to everyone!UPDATE: Its been over a year since I wrote this and I'd just like to say these wonderful people are still doing an amazing job!

I bought a great vehicle here. These folks are great. Honest, friendly and fair. I've not used them yet for service, but will now. I have friends who have used them for service and they rave about them for being honest, fair and doing quality workmanship. Definitely worth checking out.

It really is all in a name. I m glad I picked 1st Choice today and they saved my butt! From the first phone call the service was professional and kind, they got me in as quickly as possible and had a new battery installed and ready to run before I could even meet all of the adorable shop dogs! Couldn t have asked for a better experience with them today!Service: Battery

I've always had great experience here. Roger and Beth are always polite and offer advice and options before taking your money. They have the best prices. I also like that they've had the same employees for a long time so it's the same people working on my vehicle. Thank you first choice for your professional service.

absolutely horrible. I had an inspection done on my car and they said it needs 500$ worth of work to pass. they replaced my lightbulbs (which didn't need replacement) and charged me over 40$ for a headlight I never asked them to change. The inside of the building is dirty and the lady at the desk wasn't wearing a mask and none of the mechanic who were working wore a mask inside. save your money and dont get scammed by these guys. stay away.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Always honest, sound, safe and reliable. A great automotive repair shop, reasonable rates and a very clean shop. A Comfortable atmosphere, no pressure friendly service.State inspection's, oil change's, both major and minor repairs on light trucks and automobiles.

I live an hour away from First Choice Auto and I happily make the trip when something needs fixing on our vehicles. The service and work done is unmatched. You cant put a price on peace of mind which is exactly what I get from First Choice Auto. It is the one and only place I can drive away from with one hundred percent confidence that the job was done proper, complete and with the care as if they were working on their own personal vehicles.
