I was given their expert opinion on the remaining life on both my snow tires that were removed and the other set of tires that had been put on the wheels! I also got an alignment that was recommended. I went back two days later for the lug nuts to be tightened upon their recommendation! I thought the service was impeccable and that they truly care for their customers safety!

Had a tire blow out - I was stuck in the rain and the very next morning had to make a long drive up north. Thankfully, the staff here were very helpful, and Chris in the back even put the tire on my car despite being just minutes from close. It definitely made my day a little easier. Thank you Chris, and team!

Amazing crew there. Hit a extremely bad pot hole and did not know what happened exactly to my car. They walked me through and showed me exactly what had broke due to the impact of the pot hole. In my opinion they went above and beyond to find the specific parts and have my car done and ready back to me in a timely manner and the customer service was amazing as well. Thank you and once again amazing crew!!!

Purchased tires in Mexico vip in 2022. Moved to Auburn and needed tires rotated and one tire repair. Had an inspection sticker also . Labor was completed in a timely manner for the cost of the inspection sticker. We'll done.

unfortunately, this location provides terrible service. I went in for a window mechanism repair. they broke my door panel, drained my battery, and had to jump it to give it back. they didn't have the part needed, but they did look it up for me to personally order. while at their location, I ordered the part. It turns out it's the incorrect part. when I called the next day, they were rude about my request for a refund from services rendered. lack thereof, rather. only go here if you want poorly done and inattentive service for your vehicle that you'll have to go elsewhere to correct.

Always fast, courteous service! When I turn to VIP, this is the only branch I want! When I need something done I can trust them to do it right, and when I don t I know they won t try and hoodwink me! It s nice to have a dependable auto repair place!

I had an amazing experience here on a rainy Sunday morning after a pot hole took out my front tire. I walked in with my rim in my hand, still short of breath from an asthma attack, and they squeezed me in on that busy day. Knowing how I was feeling they even offered to put it back on my car for me. They definitely earned my respect and I will continue to return to them for future needs.

I had a great experience twice in one day. Vip in Auburn took both of my veheicles in and did state inspections. They were thorough and thoughtful during my visit. I was kept well informed during the process and left feeling great about a trip to the mechanic. I give them 5 stars plus.

My husband and I have been bringing our vehicles to VIP for the past 6-8 months. We will continue bringing our business to VIP. The store has a great atmosphere, kind and courteous employees, along with superior customer service. They are as flexible as can be and have helped us when in a bind. They also support the local community and Maine. Thank you!

I have been a customer of VIP for several years. Bob Guptil the service manager has always taken great care me. My most recent visit was to help with selection of new tires. Bob explained he pros and cons of specific brands. He helped me decide what would be best for my family. Bob was patient and through. We appreciate Bob going above and beyond every time we need assistance regarding our vehicles !

I love VIP the cold weather in Maine is absolutely brutal and I was worried about getting my coolant changed they took me in right away and flushed my system and got me ready for the cold. Everyone at VIP Auburn is so friendly and you can tell they take pride in the job they do. I m here now for tires and got the same level of customer service and high quality work as last time. I will only bring my car here from now on for everything they offer. I had my car looked at just to be ready for any repairs that would need to be done for future inspection. I received a piece of paper that was hand written for parts/labor fees on it. In the past I have always received a printed hand out including pictures of the alignment of my vehicles tires. I never received documents for how the alignment for my vehicle is. I was not impressed leaving the shop.UPDATE:I did receive an apology from the manager and I truly appreciate the willingness to correct the mistakes that have been made.

This VIP has earned a loyal customer. I have been using them for my car repairs for more than a year and they have definitely earned my trust. What I like most is that they often take me into the garage and show me exactly what is wrong with the car, instead of letting me take their word for it.

Bob was very nice to deal with. They got right on my flat tire, tried to repair but tire was bad. Put a new one on and got me on my way quickly. Very appreciated with the quick and courteous srvice

Update on January 12, 2024:After posting my initial review regarding VIP Tires & Service in Auburn, Maine, the management reached out to me on January 10. The manager stated that their "highly trained" technicians were not available during my previous visit and invited me to bring my vehicle back on January 12 to resolve the hood latch issue.Upon my return, a supervisor took my vehicle for inspection. Post-inspection, I was informed that the hood latch had been lubricated and the windshield wiper fluid topped up. However, the supervisor then claimed that the technician had not opened the hood during my initial visit, suggesting that the latch was already faulty. This was contrary to my experience as I had not encountered any issues with the hood latch before their service.More puzzling was the supervisor's assertion that the technician performed the vehicle fluid inspection from underneath the car. It's important to note that a proper and thorough inspection of routine vehicle fluids, such as engine oil, coolant, or brake fluid, typically cannot be conducted from under the vehicle. These checks usually require access through the hood, casting doubt on the thoroughness and validity of their 'Multipoint Inspection'.Furthermore, the lack of communication regarding this so-called pre-existing hood latch issue at the time of vehicle pickup was concerning. The supervisor did mention that they would advise their technicians to be more communicative about such discoveries in the future.After returning home, I checked the hood latch myself, only to find that the problem had not been resolved at all. This ongoing situation not only questions the technical capabilities of VIP Tires & Service but also their approach to customer communication and transparency.This update is necessary to reflect the continuing issues and my growing concerns. It serves as a cautionary note to potential customers, especially those with vehicles that may require more specialized knowledge and care.__________________________________________________________As a senior woman living alone, I rely heavily on trustworthy car service providers. My recent visit to VIP Tires & Service in Auburn, Maine, unfortunately, fell short of my expectations. Initially, I visited the shop for a simple snow tire installation, which included a 'Multipoint Inspection'.To my dismay, upon returning home, I discovered that I could no longer open the hood of my Volvo - a problem that was non-existent prior to the service. Believing in good faith, I contacted the shop, and they advised me to bring the vehicle back for inspection. This is where the situation escalated.Upon my return, I was met with skepticism by a different employee who doubted the issue was related to their service, as any damage should have been reported by their technicians. Reluctantly, he agreed to examine my car. However, his evident confusion and struggle to even locate the hood release lever was concerning. It became clear that their team might not be adequately trained or skilled in handling foreign vehicles, particularly Volvos.The situation further deteriorated when the technician attempted to involve me in a manual effort to pry open the hood. Feeling uncomfortable and concerned about further damage, I decided to take my vehicle to a specialized Volvo mechanic instead. When I inquired about VIP Tires & Service taking responsibility for the damage, I was met with repeated denials of fault.This experience has been both disappointing and distressing. It has not only caused inconvenience but also led to additional expenses for repairs. I would caution other Volvo owners, and perhaps owners of other foreign vehicles, about using their services without thorough consideration.

This was my first time using VIP. The staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. They serviced my car promptly. The facility was very clean and provided a nice waiting area.

I got my oil change two tires that had nails in it. They did an awesome job. I will be back the days March 1, 2024 Friday.

I told them multiple times to keep the screws/nails they took out of my tires. I have about 6k miles on my car and I am confident I know they came from my driveway from the contractors my landlord hired. I have picked up about 10 screws from my driveway since they left. Didnt think anything of it until my car failed inspection for a screw in my tire. I even kept 2 to have something to compare to. I wanted them to have proof to go after the contractors to pay for my tires. The mechanic just tossed them. 3 screws/nails in 6k miles?? What are the odds they didn't come from the same place. My friends asked me if I drove through a construction site. Ya I did, my own driveway. But now I have no proof. I probably told them 5 times to keep them. When my car was done, the guy from the front office called to say it was done and specifically said they kept them but they didn't have them when I went to pay. Now I'm out the money for contractor negligence. I had a great experience there up until this point and now I won't be returning. I'm out all that money and have no recourse.

Can t say enough good things. I came in on Saturday to have tires replaced after running over several nails. My lug nut key wasn t in the car and was taken by AAA when they did roadside for a donut. Cliff called me to update me that they could not find the key. He looked all over the car for me and called me back promptly. He was kind even though I wasn t able to get my tires serviced and gave me back the car. Finally got the issue resolved with aaa and came in at the very end of the day before Thanksgiving and Cliff and Mike got in me in right away so I could get home to my family. So thankful for their help!!

I just had my sons 11 grand caravan in for coolant flush and the van requires Mopar orange as long as it s orange, and meets the specs of Mopar there is a few different brands you can use, but it Hass to be orange. These guys put in an all purpose green coolant that s not supposed to be in there. It can actually harm your engine overtime not too impressed now I m gonna drain it and redo it all myself properly. The next day I go back out with my hood to check. The coolant level reservoir was empty took 3/4 of a gallon to finish, filling the system, and they didn t even bleed it. There was air in the lines

At first I was told my car wasn't put on a machine to figure out what was wrong . Then I was told it was. Now my car is doing sane thing it was when I brought it to be be looked at. I would figure if the machine tells you what is wrong with car they would have seen everything

Both of our cars went to VIP this past week for oil changes, tire rotations, air filters and all that good stuff. Additionally, the one car badly needed something done to the headlights. They did an amazing job for a reasonable price thanks to VIP we sure see better at night. I ve been to the VIP a couple times with my car for minor stuff such as installing windshield wipers or oil change etc. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I love that if something needs attention the staff brings you out to the bay to take a look as well and explains it to you. Big fan of VIP haven t gone anywhere else because I ve had wonderful luck
