Just got back from Sound Effects Auburn, My back up camera stopped working. The dealer charged over $100 for diagnostics and wanted over $800 to fix it. I made an appointment with Sound Effects. He quoted around $200. True to his word he worked most of the day, found the problem and the price remained the same. I would recommend him all day long! Great guy!

Had an install question and not only did he answer it he gave me the 2ft of wire scrap he had that allowed me to fix it myself with his instructions on how to do it! Highly recommend! Top notch customer service!

Just had a remote starter put in my truck and I love it. Service was good and the tech there was so easy to work with. Going back to have blue tooth, navigation and a reverse camera put in by him. Highly recommend!

Owner? On duty was helpful. Really only a couple units on display. They are busy in advance he said. I d consider looking else where like Best Buy at what they have in stock. Seeing what you like then order from SE and have them install. I went to Crutchfield as I wanted it done soon. Also installing just the stereo was much less problematic then you would think.

Great experience. Very honest and straightforward service. I had a Kenwood GPS unit that was a few years old and I never really enjoyed the sound. I stopped in and explained what I was experiencing and he said I can swap it out next Thursday.. I said let's do it.. I've never been a Sony guy but this stereo made the same diamond speakers I put in with the Kenwood come alive. I highly recommend this place.

Dropped my car off to install a new stereo with CarPlay. Realized I wasn t going to be back in town by the time they closed so he made accommodations for me to get my car after hours. The stereo is expertly installed, and it s beautiful and works great with the steering wheel controls. Beyond excited and happy with the work. Highly recommend!

I scheduled an installation with Scott for a Sony sound system for my Jeep. They were booked about 8 weeks out.The installation was seamless and the work was professional. I highly recommend this shop for sound system installation. All my old equipment and new installation materials were left in my vehicle.Nice work and much appreciated.

Amazing company. We have been doing business with Sound Effects since 2005 when they were on Washington Ave. They are the only company we trust to install our electronics. I just had them install my wife's Christmas present, a remote starter. They went above and beyond to get the job done before Christmas. Outstanding work and we highly recommend.

Installed a remote start and upgraded my navigation system. Did a great job, very professional, and great pricing too! Also is nice to know I will have service on the remote start in case anything goes wrong. I would highly recommend them!

I recently had a remote starter installed on my F150. It has been great with no issues. I should mention this is the SEVENTH remote start I've had them install on vehicles I have owned. I have never once had an issue with their quality. I will always go to them!

Went to this place to order a double din deck for my sons 2010 charger . And all the necessary hardware to install it. Dash kit and wiring harness . Wired up the wire harness to the deck to find out the harness did not fit to oem harness off car . Had to go back get correct one no big deal. After my time to redo everything come to find out they sold me wrong dash kit also . Had to go back once agin to be told it is the right one for 2007 charger when they where told multiple times the car was a 2010 . And that the inner dash needed to but cut out so it would fit . One thing after another . Horrible experience would not recommend to anyone to go there unless u want to be sold the wrong parts and be told that they would install for u . Very simple to install a radio if u have correct parts not so easy when u don t .

I had a long range car starter put in my 2017 Nissan Altima and absolutely loved it! The price was on the higher side but was worth every penny to be able to start my car after a 12 hour shift and not have to scrape ice off!

I can't say enough good about them. They installed a remote starter in my Jeep GC. When I had problems with just starting the Jeep , I brought it to the dealer. They tried to tell me that it was the remote starter. I told Sound Effects and he said they always try to blame them. Then, while the car was sitting outside the dealer, in the middle of the coldest night of the year, he took the remote out. Then, when the Jeep couldn't start, they could not blame the remote. Had to get a new ignition switch $$. And SE reinstalled the remote for free. Then, a year later the ignition switch was recalled, and replaced for free.I still picture the SE guy freezing while he was taking his remote out and cursing the dealer. That is way beyond good customer service! Oh, and he did it no charge...when I asked what I could do to show my appreciation, he told me to get him and his crew some coffee. Of course, I did.

I can't get over the Customer Service and the product selection. I highly recomend going to Sound Effects for all of you Audio needs. They were able to get my hard to find wire harness for me the next day. I will go back to them for the remote car starter for my car this fall.

Great Service A++I had a remote starter installed in my 2008 toyota highlander today. Scott the owner worked on the install. Once under the dash he found a DYI install of a security system I was not aware of. Scott cleaned up the rats nest of tangled wires and discovered the cold start wire had been spliced into the main start wire. Meaning the highlander, that had come from a warmer climate wouldn't have started in extreme cold. To clean up the DYI wiring took an extra hour and Scott still honored the original price. Bravo!!!!

I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMENT THIS PLACE. After all of the money I ve put in for them to put the system in at the start. Then putting more money in because of the faulty wiring they did. MORE money because they didn t fix it right. Now they refuse to fix the damage they have caused and I have no music coming out.They want me to pay MORE money after all the money I ve put it to fix it.The service is awful and I regret that I thought so highly of them at the start.

They want over $500 bucks to install everything into my car and they are very rude people to deal with..so stay away from them!

Poor quality work! In fact quality is not their strong point, faulty wiring/installation. When I mentioned a flaw in a display unit it was left unattended after I returned before asking for compensation for such work and getting denied. And they say they do extraordinary work, such an expensive joke

Very impressed. With friend the young man assistance was exceptional.fixed her problem in seconds and told her she could of called and would of fixed on phone. Not make appointment as told by others.
