The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was pleasant and helpful. He reserved the part I needed and the drive from Biddeford to Auburn was worth it. The price was much less than anything else I found in my Google search for the part. Thank you M&P.

I called ahead of time about a dial for my heater and made sure to let the man on the phone know that it was THREE dials, not the other model that has TWO. I drove 45 minutes to pick it up for him to show me the wrong part, the one with three dials, and then he was extremely rude and unprofessional, maybe he can't count? I can't tell which is which with him. Would not go back and would not recommend, will gladly pay more to avoid the old man on the phone and at the counter again. I was looking at the tires for my truck on the way out too, there's 400 bucks they're not going to get because of bad customer service.

Wow. Just got off the phone with them after asking about a part for my Volkswagen. Very rude on the phone. He said I could order it. I'm not seeing one in Maine. I said alright I'll try someone else and he said in a very condescending tone that that's what he's trying to explain to me. That there isn't one in Maine. I said alright I'll figure something else and he hung up. Wow!

I would like to say that M&P Auto has the worst customer service I have ever witnessed in my life. We placed an order with them yesterday and needed to cancel this order hours later. We were told that this was not possible and that we would have to drive back out there to get a refund minus a 20% fee. I called this morning to inquire why the order was just not canceled and the transaction voided yesterday. The guy was a complete jerk on the phone and basically told me he was doing me a favor and I could either take the 80% refund or he would change his mind completely and not refund us at all. I went out there on my lunch break to get the refund, feeling like I had no other option. I repeated my question about why the order was not just canceled and he said once he hit the button that was it. When I expressed my feelings about the customer service being so bad, he had the nerve to agreed with me and he had horrible customer service. When I said I was going to call the BBB, he offered me the number while the other gentleman laughed at me as I was leaving. I proceeded to call the vendor where the part came from, as I suspected, the order could have been canceled at anytime. I called M&P back and he said she was lying. I am appalled that this business is still in operation with the way they treat customers!

I've used M & P since April 2019 (when I moved to the area)for parts that I needed for customers and for my own personal vehicles. I have never had much issue with anybody there. I refer people to them when they're in need of parts but two days ago I call about a left front steering knuckle for a 2002 durango and was told there wasn't any there. A close friend and fellow mechanic was there that afternoon and saw a 2002 durango in the field and asked about the knuckle. And was told it was taken less than an hour before. He called me to see if I was the one who had bought it and of course I hadn't because I was told it wasn't there. I feel that trust is important in any business but if your lying to customers why should I refer my clients and friends so you can lie to them as well.

They had a motor I needed to repair my car, was told the price was firm because it was so clean . Get it all the way in, all but the exhaust done and find a problem with it. Their solution is we take the motor all the way back out and return it instead of sending someone to fix it, AFTER my fianc� had to miss work to get it delivered because they refused to send two people when we were paying $2000 for this motor that they offered to deliver. No offer of a partial refund, and the employee is rude every time you deal with him. We don t have an extra day to spend taking the motor out, and two extra week days to return and pick up the motor when they fix it when it shouldn t have needed fixing it to begin with. Oh, and forget about the email they tell you to contact them with. They don t reply. Will never do business with them again.

I just called for the very first time looking for a part. A grumpy man answers, I ask my question, he never responds, I only hear typing so I assume that he's looking it up. He then responds with "no we don't." I say, "ok, thanks for looking! Have a great day!!" Then I hear click. Wow, what kind of service is this!?!

I have dealt with this place a few times and after the last time we will not be dealing with them any longer. I made a big purchase with them and when I went back because I had an issue and wanted to return the item I was told I was the one that broke the part and when I got upset at the fact that they don t #lWarranty on the big purchases, in fact I was told to fix it and resell yea that s a great company and The guy that sits up in the back came down and was going to call me back about the whole thing and I m still waiting on the call and it has been a few months now. So at this point I feel a review is needed

The owner had met me through another entity or business and he was extremely knowledgeable about the area, products and services that they can provide and honest about those they don't but they quickly referred me to someone who could. The company has done a great job of keeping in touch with their customers and extending discounts and offers available if you sign up.

Rude as all get out. Called to ask for availability on certain parts, and whoever answered the phone was not helpful, short, and just unprofessional. Actually hung up on me when I thanked him for his help and said I would let him know if I wanted to order them. It's unfortunate too, because he offered me the best price for the parts I am looking for, but I will be happy spending more somewhere else. Customer service pays y'all. Rudeness does not.

Can't miss the sign! They reminded me of my Grand Father ..... Old fashion cars n pictures, the smell of the automotive parts.... Plus they helped me with my tire. N the price was honestly cheaper than anywhere else around.I recommend these guys if you want a good deal n straight forward answers.

In all my years in the car business and with car parts never have I had such a brief yet unbelievably negative conversation / experience.I called M&P Auto Salvage in regards to the cost of a Alloy wheel and the only response I got was "Ten dollars".He said Then said "Ten Dollars" three times... And wouldn't even let me provide the make and model I was looking for... No one cares how much the wheels cost if they don't fit the make and model and why would a consumer want to drive there if you don't have what they're looking for?I wasn't even provided the opportunity to say another word before he simply hang up on me.I would never exaggerate this nor would I generally spendtime leaving a review, but this is exactly what happened and it should be known. This gentleman obviously hates his job or at least that's what I took away from it.I will never do business with M&P again and I own a car dealership and often times if not daily we need parts, but obviously M&P cannot provide them or can't hire people capable of communicating over the phone. My conversation was less than a minute I believe before I was hung up on....I just can't even wrap my my head around it. Why even pick up the phone?

I have been there twice for tires (2 different vehicles) and they were ALL very helpful and affordable!I have to say I noticed a person commented that there was a registered sex offender there - Honestly I go there for parts for my vehicle and to get things done on it NOT for daycare or dates! They have all (the ones that I have met) been respectful and polite and they seem to be pretty straight forward as far as prices and parts!Hope this helps!

First off i d Just like to say this place is terrible. TERRIBLE. Why? Well I talked to this guy bill and he said he wanted me to go over there and give him the title to my car then go to my house and pick up my car. Sounded very fishy so I told him I was going to check in with a few other places and give him a call back. He said whatever and hung up. Petty much?

Awesome service, and the best used parts ever! I looked all over NH, Mass, and even into Vermont a little, PLUS all over the internet to try and find the parts I needed, and couldn t find them anywhere. By chance, a salvage yard I called mentioned this place, and thank GOD they did! I got the best condition parts for my car I ve ever seen on the used market, for the same price I ve gotten parts for another car that weren t even close to the same quality. I had called a week before I made the drive up to put the parts on hold, didn t have to put down any down payment or even give any information, and they held them for me without a question! It s near impossible to get any salvage yard or used parts place to hold anything even for a day or two, and they did it no problem. Well worth the drive! So easy to get to, too! Right off 95.

Drove all the way up from Massachusetts for a Land-Rover transmission. I was treated in a very friendly manner by both the counter staff and shop staff who actually loaded my items in my truck. No problems at all - and I would happily do business with them again.

Don't usually go there but I figured I would give them a shot today to hopefully boost their reviews up, I said they can't be that bad. Service was just as rude as expected based on reviews, they'll stay on the bottom of my list for sure.

Wouldn't piss on the owner if he was on fire! Never been so insulted by a business owner! I walked in with my money and left with it! Thank god! Should have listened to the reviews online in the first place!

Always my go to place for auto parts. They have always gone above and beyond to help me and get me the best deal. They have even gone as far as recommending some place else to achieve the best prices. All the gentlemen who i have helped me on every occasion have been very nice and down to earth. Thabks so much!

Poor service. Attendants weren't very friendly nor did they seem to know their stuff very well. Took way longer than it should have especially since we had called about the part the day before.

They had what I needed, place was very presentable. The guy I dealt with really was unpleasant to deal with. Very vague and short, didn't say one word to me while waiting for the part to be brought up.

Have bought parts from M&P in the past, they were direct fit parts! Planning on a transmission in the near future, they are worthy on what they sell and they haven't let me down yet. Keep up the good work!

Rude service, I'm sorry I took you away from your donut and made you do your job, but sometimes we must dig deep, put our big boy pants on and type some stuff into the computer. Never have I delt with such pissy attitudes, and don't get me wrong I'm a heavy industrial services worker I'm not the type to get butt hurt because they didn't say please and thank-you, treating me like I'm a huge a-hole because I've called your business looking to potentially spend money there isn't cool though. Now I just call to waste their time, their used parts are not to far off from new anyhow, go to Lashins or Cumberland. I don't think these guys really want to sell auto parts, or at least they seem pretty displeased that they have to, maybe it's a front and I'm disturbing the real work.

I have had no experience at this establishment, but from what i have read, your motto should say" high price, poor service, bad attitude"!!! Hahah jk seriously though give it a shot, in todays economy that quote may go further than we all anticipate!!!

I live maybe a 1/10 of a mile away, I work on cars daily. Have too many to count to maintain in the family. M&P have the absolute worst costumer service I've ever seen. There upstandingly rude, as if your wasting there time just being there. And they'll charge you $5 less than what it would be new with a warrentee!!! I'll walk to lashings in Oxford before I enter M$P again. It's pathetic I can throw a rock and hit them from my porch and id much rather go somewhere else.Last time I went was years ago. They told my father if he was a part go get it off the car. My father being in his 60s walks out back grabs his tiny little thing, wanted $20 bucks!!! Plastic piece to a old ford escort. No bigger than 4 inchs by 4 inchs. Claimed we ruined the door to sell to another person because they need that piece. Before we walked out they threw the piece away!!! Went to lashings, they gave him a ride to an old escort and got the piece for a buck. Goes to show you.

Called this am for a particular part... The gentleman answering the phone was a peach. After explaining to him twice what I needed, he just said "nope don't have it and hung up". Last time I call there.
