It was our first time there. We found some fish that I like. So I'm thankful for it. A great place to buy bulk products.

Never shopping there again .i never write reviews neither . Went there to get some items and they were priced and label a certain price. go to check out and the item is $20 mores. Show the employee the price and he said the price is wrong and there didn t have prices out yet. There was a bunch of items and it was clearly labeled, but he said it s wrong. And removed the price sticker

Alot of items in your flyer on sale, but you have none available for purchase. Poor planning on management's part. Now you don't even have signs signifying what items are in what aisles? So sad...

Advertising 20.00 membership with 20.00 gift card for signing up. Not specifying only in Portlandnd... so go to Costco or sams club they give you what they advertize

You'll save the cost of the membership at the gas pump in 2-3 months, its worth waiting in line for a few minutes.

My wife and I usually shop at the Portland store, but found ourselves in Auburn and decided to pickup a few things. Great customer service. We were asked three times if we needed help. Smiles everywhere from the associates. Glad we stopped in.

My wife and I found a perfectly decorated cake for an upcoming baby shower at our close-to-home location in Portsmouth. Thinking it would be a better idea to order in town for pickup the morning of, we tried to order something similar at this location s bakery. Once we were finally able to attract this woman s attention, she seemed extremely out out that we wanted to order a simple two tiered cake. When I showed a picture of the cake we saw in Portsmouth, some weeks prior, she yelled at my wife and said BJ s doesn t do anything like that. When I asked if she could just do something loosely similar to the best of her abilities, she let out a huge sigh and just walked away. To be clear, we didn t show this woman a picture off or Pinterest or Ace of Cakes, it was the same BJ s cake all of their locations sell. We reported this to the front end manager who seemed nice about it but no way do we want that person in this location s bakery touching something our families are going to eat. We ended up driving all the way back to the Portsmouth BJ s and transporting their cake ourselves instead and it was totally worth it. Very unsatisfactory experience at this location!

I originally had a bad review explained, but since I was there recently and that is no longer the issue I figured I'd scratch it.Now my gripe is that I watched an employee leave the bathroom stall and not even look at the sink before heading back to the front end. There is no doubt that what took place in that stall required a good hand washing. After that I watched her grab a pen from another employee to write something down before going over to self scan to help a customer, where she then touched some of their stuff before touching the screen. I know she's not the only one and other customers are just as inconsiderate, but a total yikes seeing how that played out. If you're on the clock, you're basically getting paid to wash those things. Take the extra minute, please.

My husband and I were very pleased with the variety and supply totals available for each and every product we wanted to purchase. Some products at other stores are in short supply so this was a nice change. I admit we probably wouldn't be frequenting them had my husband not requested the services of a specialized doctor in this area. Now we plan to be here much more often than we have been. We like the products and services.

I love the curbside pickup! They are very friendly, fast and courteous. The prices are good especially when you use their clip coupons when placing an order online!

Need better employees in the back!! Sat and waited for propane no one came out, no one in a bay, no one answers phones. And when asked to help fill propane tanks you get a snotty employee who likes to run his mouth.

Poor employee retention. This means they don't treat their employees very good. Tried too buy a TV. Not a small one either. Was told they were on break. 1/2 hr later I asked again. Told still on break. Said I guess you're not selling TV's today and walked out

I have been shopping here for years and today experienced poor customer service. I wanted to purchase a tower fan however none were available on the floor. Only on the top shelf in bulk. As I was getting ready to check out, I explained to the cashier that I wanted to purchase one but they were all on top shelf. She had a guy look it up and he told me the price. I explained again I wanted to purchase one. Cashier asked the guy if someone could get it off the shelf. He said it could not happen today. Like w.t.f. I guess this store is not interested in selling items and pleasing their customers.

greetings make sure you read all the fine print before you sign anything with this store or any other BJ's store. If you have a dispute with anything about your card you won't win. Way to much red tape and a lack of communication within the company.Just when you feel it's all straightened out, your right back where you started.I'll say no more, because my wife has been been disputting some charges for a year, gotten many promises but no action. A perfect example of the need to read everything before you sign our name on anything.

I love to shop there when I'm looking to buy in bulk but I just want to say that customer service is horrible and that the management team and some of the associates are not very good at being polite to customers or they're own employees. They really need to consider how they treat people. To get respect you have to give respect. Update: Things have been better there.

I just wanted to personally thank each and every one of your associates that make it possible for consumers like me to be able to still purchase much needed food essentials during this crazy time . This morning, even though there were only 100 people allowed in the store, everyone was so curteous and helpful. You guys are amazing and deserve to be recognized! Thanks for all you do. Stay safe and healthy!

BJs has stuff I need/want. I buy it at a price lower than other stores. I bring it home and use it. Staff are helpful. People are typically kind if you meet them with kindness.

The store is fairly well stocked and I am happy to see they limit the amount allowed on hard to find items. My biggest complaint about this store is the lack of full service registers. I am a senior citizen and am not interested in going thru a self serve register with $200 worth of product.

A good place if you have a big family size. My only issue with BJ'S they don't welcome others customers who did not have a membership. So that means if you are not a member you can't shop at BJ'S, and that so sad because other may need to get something from this store but the will not accept them.

I love this store! Great place to buy things in bulk & they accept manufacture's coupons. They also offer most items to be shipped to your home. Diapers always ship free as well and I love the store brand diapers.

Been shopping here for many years. Today was the worst. In this time of hard to find and over price of products. And so many people not having the money to buy foods . I stopped in 5/24/20 to get food . One of the products i got and was so happy to find was asparagus this was at 1500 i got home put it in the fridge and at 1730 I pulled it out to cook i open the bag to find it was roten. Very said . I went back 5/25/20 at 0945 and was told that they don't take food products back even if roten.(( during this time of covid19)) .Ok it was only $5.99 plus tax. I'm just glad it was someone like myself that can handle a loss of $5.99 .. i could only imagine if it was a family that didn't have that extra money and the kids had to go without a good balance meal. Shame on a corporation like you .

Very disappointed in the service desk associate today. I went in to renew and update not only my membership but my grandparents who are both immunocompromised and was told that they couldn't do that there and that I needed to go online to update and change anything. When I explained that I needed to downgrade and change my name because it wouldn't let me do it online I was met with a slight sigh and eye roll and again was told there's nothing they could do in store and I have to do it online. Not entirely sure why she was standing there then if they can't do anything for anyone in store. Disappointing to say the least.

I go out my way and pay for this club membership giving all my info hoping for a better trusting shopping experience but when I'm profiled in front of my wife and kids to go thru my diaper bag no bigger than a woman's purse, with covid and monkey pox and bed bugs at it's high I refused and it was the most embarrassing and humiliating shopping experience ever.

Quick unloading, just don t go there too early bc each shift is responsible for certain loads.I got there 2 hours early and got unloaded, but like 4-5 hours early is a no-no. There is space for early truckers to park and nap. A bit of a small space for backing up tho. Good luck!

I would NOT apply for a job here. EVER. The managers, are disgustingly rude to their employee's, and are constantly punishing employees for company screw ups. Such as losing breaks when you aren't given permission to go to the bathroom so you end up losing a break because you need to change for sanitary reasons. Or being unjustifiably terminated because your child is ill, and you have to spend the whole night in the hospital with them, and end up being late for work, once. This company is terrible. Not only are they happily ripping members off, but they happily screw over employees as well.. Save yourself the trouble, and don't apply for work here. I put one star, because I had to select one. They get no stars, if you ask me.

My last visit to BJs in Auburn was very disappointing. The cashier was SO rude and this was the second time I've had a conversation with the front end supervisor about her less-than-customer-friendly demeanor. I also spoke with the general manager and expressed that I was very close to taking my business elsewhere. She didn't really try to stop me, which speaks volumes about how they value their customers, so when I say it was my last visit to BJs in Auburn, I meant it. Hello, Walmart right next door!
