This place in my opinion is the best!! I have been there many times and each time I am treated so good! The guys in the back that actually take the tire and rim apart are wonderful and the guy up front taking money is nice too! They have great prices and almost every time have what I m looking for. (My tires are hard to find). Even one time we were traveling home and was following my cousin and he ran out of gas right there an we asked to just leave the vehicle there for a few minutes to run and go get gas for him and the guy in the garage went and got a 5 gallon gas can and filled his truck up and we were on our way! Can t say enough nice and good things about this business! This is who I always call first when needing a tire!!!

Back in January I purchased a pickup truck from the auction house down the road from S&S during through an online auction. Since I hadn't seen the truck or really didn't know much about it, I called S&S before I went to pick it up to see if they could look at it and let me know if it would be road worthy to drive back to Florida. When I called, they told me that it shouldn't be a problem and to call the day that I picked up the truck just to verify that they could look at it. So, I planned my trip to go pick up the truck. The morning I scheduled to pick up the truck I called and asked if they still would be able to check out the truck and they said that it wouldn't be a problem. After I picked up the truck, I drove it straight to S&S. I went into the office and they were friendly and were able to start looking at my truck right away.The mechanic that looked at it, brought me to the bay and showed me all the different issues that it had and that would need to be fixed eventually. He suggested to replace the radiator cap before driving too far and also to have some water, just in case. He also replaced the battery and checked the alternator. Overall, he said that it should be fine to drive back to Florida.I appreciate the honesty of the shop and that they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need or try to have me get work done that wasn't necessary at the time. They just charged me for the battery and the diagnostics fee, which was more than fair, especially after all the time the mechanic spent with me looking over the truck.The truck made it back to Florida with barely any issues. The only thing that happened was the check engine light came on, but it was for a misfiring coil, which I was able to purchase at an auto parts store and replace. It also through a code for an O2 sensor, but that wasn't a big deal either.If I lived in the Livingston, LA area, I would definitely be a customer of this shop. I had taken my car to another shop several times over a period of 7 months trying to figure out a loss of power issue then went to S&S and they figured it out immediately and fixed for a fair price. I highly recommend them!

I give 5 stars for a reason and many other reasons why. The absolute best customer service, overall prices, helpful and nice employees that work there. They are very down to earth people. The honesty there is the most important, Brian and his employees have it. I would definitely recommend Brian and his crew to work on your vehicle, whether it s purchasing tires/rims, fixing a flat tire or tires, oil change:, changing struts, shocks, brakes whichever your vehicle problems are, they will do it all and you won t be disappointed. Speaking of oil changes I ve gotta bring my vehicle in and get it done lol. Thanks to S&S Tire & Automotive

Amazing Service. Will definitely be back. I blew out a tire on the interstate, changed it to a donut, pulled off at the nearest exit and found this place by accident. I pulled in 5 min before closing and they still went above and beyond, finding me a tire (which took awhile for I have a strange sized tire.) and putting my new tire on. GREAT CUSTOMER SEVICE!

Needed small tire from mower inflated. Seal on bead was broken. The tire man aired it up but was leaking between tire and rim. He cleaned the rim and tire then put some stuff on it, reinflated it, and it did not leak. I installed wheel on mower and cut grass. Very happy.
