Bought a 2014 fx4 from them a couple weeks ago at a fair price. Very laid back no pressure from the staff to buy. And I haven't had any issues with the truck. I put around 1,000 a week on it.

I don t check reviews out to judge a place like this from reviews. The bad reviews could be the same person or someone who no longer works there. I looked at these afterward, and my experience aligned with many others. The first person outside I saw was friendly; he moved the truck, gave me history, and said they would take care of me inside. It was a rapid exchange but aligned with what I expected as treatment. It was downhill from there. Customer Service of the guy that was supposed to help me was very subpar. One week later, no contact from anyone. I don t know the guy's name that I was talking to. He didn t give me a card. I m questioning if we even shook hands at all. I drove over 2.5 hours one way to get to the place to see a truck I saw online. Pictures do not always represent what s there; that s why I went in person. There is no issue there; it happens. After I went inside, one guy asked who I was there to see. This was the first awkward moment.I stood to be recognized quite a few times, especially after returning a set of keys. I told him I called and was here to see this specific truck. He handed me over to the guy I talked to. He never offered anything to drink or anything resembling his attention, expertise, or respect. He handed me some keys to the vehicles of interest. It seemed like I inconvenienced him to help me find one of the vehicles. Initially, I chalked it up because he was busy doing paperwork closing out the end of the month or previous deals. People are genuinely allowed off days; the close and ghosting a week later secured this post.I asked about a different truck; his answer was, Did you look at our website? I was still ready to get a truck. The kicker was when I told him I was using Navy Federal. I asked for clarification to make sure I heard him correctly. He said when they send me the check to come back. He took my name and info and was supposed to send me something. A week later, no email or call or anything. It s like I was forcing him to take my business. I was ready to put in a deposit to hold the truck. I even had a second approval with a .001% interest rate difference that I could have used that day. After that 2.5-hour drive back, I decided not to go back.

They have no problem selling you a vehicles with knowing structure damage. We checked the car fax for any problem with the ram 2500 and now showed up. I went to get the truck appraise and found out through experian that it had structure damage. 39k down the drain never again

Listen to the reviews on this place. The salesman are lazy and don t seem concerned at all to sell you a car. I asked about two trucks and I was given the keys and he said they re out in the gravel. You ll see them . By gravel he meant mud. The truck you see in the photos are not the trucks on the lot. The 2 I looked at are covered in dirt and mud and both had flat tires. When I brought the keys back no one said anything to me. I dropped off the keys and walked out without a word from anyone. Very strange place that I would not recommend to anyone. Weird people.Update to response. You have the wrong customer. I wasn t trading anything in. You guys have no idea what s going on over there

I just talked to one of the salesman and he said that's the price take it or leave it. How does this place stay In business with all the bad reviews? If I would have read the reviews first, I would not even wasted my time.

Coming from Atlanta, i bought a 2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax from them. Traded in my 2004 Sierra 2500 6.0 Liter. Cory was the fella i worked with and was very helpful and respectful. Read some of the reviews the day before and it kinda scared me, but the consensus being ebay related, Ford related or communication related. So i took the gamble and made the drive anyway on a Prayer that all would go well when i arrived. It did but it seem like whoever the guy was sitting next to Cory, didnt seem friendly at all and didnt care for me being there. Maybe he was having a bad day, but that area was destroyed by a hurricane too. So i guess i understand there is not a whole lot to smile about. Regardless, thats the only reason why i didnt give this place a full 5 stars. As for my Diesel, and trade in. I thought the trade in value was on the slightly low end of fair. But it was fair no less as im definitely not complaining. The Duramax however is doing excellent and was quite surprised they replaced the headliner and reskinned the seat. You generally dont see that too often with dealers as they just want to sell and be done. So that was really awesome. Mechanically, it needs a little minor help, which is standard on used vehicles. Brakes, oil changes, u joint replacements etc. But overall, if i had to buy from them again, im pretty sure i would.

Just like others I came from out of state but my experience was great. I purchased a 2019 ram big horn and the truck was exactly how they said it was. I was able to do everything through text, drove down and drove the truck, took 2 minutes to sign papers and chit chatted for 20. I would recommend anyone to purchase from them and I would purchase many more from them!

I'll admit I was leery, in Oct. of 2014, I'd read my share of bad reviews. Yet here I am more than 6 years later, and couldn't be more happy. Saw the truck on eBay, made the call, wired the money, flew down from Michigan, they picked me up at the airport, and I drove it 1200 miles home. 2011 F-250 had 144890 miles when I got in it. Today it has 264000 and still looks as good as the day I drove it away. Have only had what I consider to be minor repairs and general maintenance in 6 years. I keep saying I'm gonna drive it till the wheels fall off..... who knowsThanks to Jon and the staff @ Boardwalk Motors

Thank you Boardwalk Motors for a great car-buying experience! I found the vehicle online and after speaking with the owner on the phone, who is very direct and honest about the condition of the vehicle, I decided to fly down and purchase it. They picked me up at the airport and brought me to the vehicle. I test-drove it and was happy to see that it looked as good as the photos online had depicted. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the paperwork went quickly and smoothly. Afterwards, I drove the car vehicle back to Colorado without any issues. I would definitely recommend them and, if necessary, will buy from them again in the future.

Found a porsche online that I was very interested in. They Let me get an inspection done on it because I live in Michigan and couldn't get down there to check it out in person. Landon was very helpful and transparent. The Porsche was everything he promised it to be when it arrived. Love the car!!!! its been great! Very easy to work with and very helpful!! Thanks again

Drove over to buy a 2016 F250 King Ranch, got there truck had damage they did not disclose, CCV was clogged causing a lot of blow by. But they reduced the price by $1100. I was happy with that signed the paper work and wrote a check for the truck. On the way home the check engine light came on, had the Ford dealer check it DEF pump and injector were bad they showed the code was last cleared just before I bought it based off mileage. I never checked the key FOB but later realized it did not work. Went to replace the battery and it was full of corrosion. Had to get Ford to make me a new one, truck only came with the one key. Air filter was beyond clogged but truck over all was super clean engine bay was beautiful untouched and super clean. Windshield had been replaced very recently and there was shattered glass all in the dash that I later found not a huge problem just zero attention to detail. The sales men were helpful and friendly, I do not regret my purchase any at all I love the truck. Had to have new tires put on, $3200 in emissions improvements to correct failed parts. $275 in debt removal to fix the bed corner that they did not mention.

Boardwalk Team worked well together and with me. Bought a Dodge Dully, had a few problems but the folks there did what they could to help fix the issues. Not argument. You have to understand you are buying a used vehicle. Haven't found one in my 55 + years of shopping that didn't have some issues. Oh, and did you notice the multiple signs that indicate you are buying as is???Follow up, that Dodge Ram worked great pulling our 5th wheel. Made it to Texarkana from Walker, transmission blew up. Ram Dealer there said he had never seen a transmission in that bad of shape. Thanks Boardwalk Motors for a leave you on the road truck.

I purchased my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 work truck from Boardwalk Motors in May 2022 ( Approx 6 months ago ).I live local and had been looking for a specific truck. Single cab, long bed, Chevrolet Silverado 2500 WT. The only other one I was able to find nearby was at one of the large lots and they had it marked up quite a bit more than I thought was fair. At the time, the new car shortage was in full swing and many dealers were charging crazy high prices for used vehicles.I found the exact truck I wanted on one of Boardwalks listings online. The price on my truck was not only reasonable, but it was actually a thousand or so below the Kelley Blue book suggested retail. I was a bit hesitant to purchase from them after reading some of their negative reviews online but decided to give them a chance and go look at the truck. The truck had obviously been detailed very well. It had brand new tires on it, and a fresh Louisiana Inspection sticker which was a positive sign. The driver seat looks like it had a new cover installed ( done well, just looks newer than the other seat ). There were also a few other odds and ends that indicated they had touched up things. They obviously go through them through some sort of restoration process. I ended up purchasing the truck after going over it and taking it on a couple of test drives.I must admit that I did get a bit nervous when they told me that the transmission had been repaired during the prep process. I thought seriously about not getting the truck. However, they provided info as to where the repairs had been made. I checked their reviews and found that the repair shop was reputable and felt re-assured that it would be okay. Especially considering they could have easily not told me about the repair at all and I would have never been any wiser. When I purchase a used vehicle, I know that it will not be perfect. This one has been no different. With that said, the money has been on minor issues like a new center brake light off of ebay. A new cap for the windshield wiper reservoir, and new rotors on the front end.The truck has been reliable with no check engine lights. I have hauled heavy loads and pulled a car hauler trailer from Louisiana to Florida and all over Texas picking up equipment for my business. All in all I am happy with the purchase and cant complain. I bought a USED truck with 150,000 miles on it.My only suggestion would be to look the paint over really well. Whatever they use to buff the paint does a really good job of hiding small imperfections. With that said, I am still 100 percent happy with the purchase and experience. I would do business with them again.Update: August 2023 and still happy with the truck

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS PLACE!!! THEY SELL TRUCKS WITH BLOWN HEAD GASKETS AND OTHER MAJOR ISSUES. THEY CHARGE EXTREMELY TOO MUCH FOR VEHICLES THEY KNOW ARE GARBAGE. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO A REPUTABLE AND VERY ESTABLISHED DESLERSHIP. I WAS NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ESPECIALLY BEING A CUSTOMER PAYING CASH! Your ARUARGUMENTATIVE and COMBATIVE response to me and others that submits a review which details our experience with your dealership helps to prove our point. Your business lacks business ethics, education, and has an overall lack of good customer service. We have had nothing but month after month after month of repairs on this vehicle, so it has not been a year and NOW COMPLAIN as you want people to believe. Its been EVERY FREAKING MONTH SINCE WE HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE! I have submitted all the details to the Better Business Bureau and advise all others to do the same.

These guys were awesome! And would do business with them again in a heartbeat. I live in Texas and have been looking for a certain truck and found it on their website. I contacted Cory though email and we were responding for about a week and he went above and beyond sending me pictures of every part of the truck even underneath and sending me videos. I know I was asking a lot but I didn t want to travel all the way from Texas just to be disappointed. Cory did everything I asked and fast I was impressed with the truck and also the service. When I got there they were so friendly and they weren t like normal car salesman that watch over you like a hawk. There was no pressure. I was so pleased with the truck and service I bought it and drove back to Texas that day. First time I bought a truck and felt like they actually told the truth and cared and not just trying to make a sale. Thank you again guys still loving my truck!

Had to give a one start rating because no stars isn't an option unfortunately. Found the truck I wanted to buy on eBay and called them about it to ask for more details. The way it was described to me the truck was in great shape cosmetically both inside and out and ran and drove as it should. The pictures on their website looked really good and did well to hide all of the imperfections that they forgot to mention over the phone. After inquiring about the truck for two weeks I decided to make the 12 hour drive to go get it expecting that it was in as good as shape as they had described to me. Finally got to the lot and the truck looked way worse in person that in pictures. Scratches and dings all over the paint. The inside had a half inch of water standing in the floorboards from leaks in the window seals. Smelled musty. Interior was way dirtier than described on their website. Decided to take it for a test drive anyway. The truck had no power and was rolling black smoke at barely any throttle. Needless to say I didn't buy the truck and wasted 24 hours driving as well as a vacation day to go get screwed over by these dishonest salesmen. Will not be back and I don't recommend anyone to trust their word. Every truck on the lot was in rough shape with either scratches and dents, bald tires, or filthy interiors. Most of which had all of the above. Buyer beware from these guys. Don't trust what the website says or any of their pictures. Might be worth checking out if you live close but definitely do not come from far away to look at anything here. Very unfortunate that there are sales people like this out there.Edit as a response to the owner:I do not expect an 11 year old truck to be perfect, but when it is described to me that way by a salesman, especially with knowing I was coming from so far away, I would expect it to be in at least halfway presentable shape, which it was not. Even after I saw how cosmetically poor the truck was I still would have expected it to run like it should and it did not. I have seen very few of these trucks from around that year in as bad of shape as that one was. Definitely should have disclosed that information to a serious buyer before letting them make a 12 hour drive. But what do I know, its your business not mine. Run it however you please!

Don t buy a truck from them. 10 hours of our day completely wasted. Saw the truck online weeks ago. Talked to them numerous times over the phone and we could never set an appointment to come look at it because it was in the shop getting the heater fixed. We rented a car to drive 5 hours there because we had all intentions of buying this truck and driving it back. When I asked over the phone (on several different occasions) if there was any issues they did not mention that there console was full of water from the roof leaking. It was enough water in the console to raise minnows. The salesman acted ignorant to the fact that the roof was leaking. He was rude and uncooperative when I tried to negotiate the price. 10/10 would NOT recommend this dealership.Update: The response from the owner below my dads review is NOT TRUE. My dad is an honest man and I think the salesmen get on here and lie after all the reviews to make people sound crazy. My dad would not have drove back empty handed if they would have agreed to fix the truck and come down on the price. He was willing to pay CASH and buy new tires for it to drive it home. They had agreed on a lower price before my dad even got the rental car to drive there. They could have cared less that he was even there to buy it. They wouldn t even go outside with him to look at the truck. They were extremely rude.. Do not trust this place.

I've purchased both of my fleet trucks from them, one 4 years ago, the 2nd just about a year ago. Both were older, higher mileage diesels at purchase and both are still in operation. I like the no pressure sales environment and the fair prices. Looking forward to purchasing another truck from them next year.

I got a Ford F250 about a month ago. They tell you a mechanic goes over everything. Bull !!! I've had trouble with it since we got it. We had to buy a battery terminal on our way home cause if you turned it off, it wouldn't crank. The truck is scary to drive cause it sways/ wonders all over the road. It did it some on the way home but wasn't sure if it was cause of me, being I've never had a diesel. We paid 10,800.00. Some may say that's not a lot but it is to me. I have put over 2000.00 in the truck. 4 new tires, 4 heavy duty shocks, steering damper, 2 new sway bars, alignment and now having to get gearbox done. I know its as is but come on. For that kind of money, I wouldn't think I would have to redo the front end within the first month. Won't refer anyone. Yes, we saw the wore tire and yes, you cut the price from 11,440.00 to 10,800.00. Which is 640.00. Yes, you offered new batteries if we couldn't keep it running. If we met you have way. We were told that they have a Ford mechanic, Chevy , mechanic and a Dodge mechanic that goes over all the trucks. Your mechanic's should have caught that and so much more. Just had new barring put on and more to do. So, the front end having to be redone, surpassed the 640.00 discount you gave. If we knew all that was wrong, we would have kept on looking.Barrings - 1089.48No, we had no idea of ALL the problems it had !

We bought a 2010 Ford Expedition from Boardwalk Motor Cars 2 weeks ago. Not only was the staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable, but they handled all of the paperwork with the credit union directly, so we did not have to run back and forth between the two. I was very nervous about buying a car, especially out of state, but they made everything as easy as it could have been. I will absolutely be looking through their inventory when it comes time to buy our next vehicle. I highly recommend doing business with Boardwalk!!!

Out of state buyers - This is NOT a reputable business. Buyer beware! Don t waste your money and don t let them waste your time!I found a truck online. Called down and agreed to a price with Cory on a Friday. Called my bank with the VIN number and they started the loan documents. I bought my one way plane ticket to New Orleans. Cory calls on Monday and tells me the truck was sold on Saturday. Message to Boardwalk Motors: This is not how you treat customers!!!My only stipulation for this sale was that the truck be brought to the nearest Chevy dealer for inspection. Cory agreed. The inspection was scheduled with All Star Chevrolet for Monday. Price of inspection to be paid by me was $260. Per Cory s suggestion, no money was needed to hold the truck until after inspection. Cory s suggestion, not mine, but that seemed reasonable to me, so I agreed. I told him that baring any major mechanical issue reported by All Star Chevrolet this sale is a done deal. I even agreed that any minor mechanical issues would be fixed by All Star Chevrolet. I was expecting that there would be something needed. So I was truly buying this truck sight unseen and my expectations were very reasonable.I have very rarely written a bad review for any company. Boardwalk Motors --- You deserve this one

Picked up a nice SUV from them over the weekend. The price was extremely fair for a used vehicle. The paperwork was ready when I arrived to complete the purchase. At the end of the day, this is a used car at a used car price. Buyers should do their homework and go into used car purchasing with the mindset that nobody gets rid of a car because it runs too good or because it is in perfect condition. If you want guarantees, buy a warranty, which the dealership made available at the time of purchase. Very satisfied with the deal that was made.

Cory and Dan were very helpful when I called from Michigan about a 08 ram 4500. When we got there we found one issue with it that they fixed without question. I hope they find me another truck just like this one. I would gladly drive the 1600 miles again. One year later and the truck is performing flawless, very happy. As a matter of fact I just called to see if dan had another dodge on the lot. Hope to get a call from them telling me they found another 4500 dodge 4x4 diesel.

I found a truck on eBay that fitted what I needed perfectly. I called and talked to a salesman that was very professional and courteous. He even sent me several pictures and a video of the truck starting up. The fact that I would be buying the truck sight unseen made the pictures and video helpful. The eBay listing expired and was the re-listed. I took several hours to look back through the pictures. I decided to make an offer through eBay. I made several incremental offers until I decided I had hit my maximum offer. I sent a message stating that I would wait to see what happens with the auction and I wouldn t be making anymore offers. The seller responded with a childish and offensive reply. I offered $1,300 USD less than the buy it now price: The auction included a make an offer option that I used. The seller made it seem that I offered $10,000 less than asking price and that I was being completely unreasonable. Read through the reviews thoroughly. This is another shady dealer that sells wrecked junk to people that don t have the time or patience to do their research. I have never dealt with a business that acts in this manner. I m just glad I didn t buy it now. The horror stories on their google reviews page are quite impressive. I m sure the only positive reviews are from their friends and acquaintances.

They had several trucks that looked great on the website. I drove few hours to get there only to discover the trucks were in worse shape. They took the pics at just the right angle to make it look better than it was. I did pick one out but they would not move any on the price. Had the typical used car salesman excuses. Started the paper work. Few minutes in I changed my mind and told the salesman. He was nice but still had some attitude and was very short with me.

Bought a truck from them. Very nice people. Don't have in house financing, but can tell you where to go. These are used trucks look them over before you buy. However, mine is an 05 King rancher in mint condition. I've had this truck for 11 months now. Zero problems. Do your footwork before buying.

I drove 3.5hours to look at a truck. Before hand I had asked questions about the truck, if there were any issues, etc. Everything seemed good, so I made the trip. After getting there (was at the mechanics house as the AC was being worked on), I looked over the truck. Truck didn't seem to have any major flaws, not leaking oil/trans fluid....some mud caked up in places shouldn't be unless off roading (meh).I did see my first red flag; a pile of soot on the fender above exhaust. This was not there in the pictures. There were several obvious things broken in the truck. Driver window didn't operate at all. The center console didn't open at all (broken latch). A big burn mark in the console. Many other smaller issues: reflector light broken/missing, several wires/plugs disconnected or unplugged under the bed, tailgate had issues dropping down all the way, trim pieces around the rear fenders messed up and separating. Etc etc.Okay, took it for a test drive. The truck ran like dog poop. The engine seemed to be sound, but it was evident the truck had been dogged it's entire life (140k miles). No suspension at all. Something in the driveline was really bad. Barely let off throttle and you were slammed I to your seatbelt....barely touch the throttle and you were in the seat. Clunky and very uncomfortable. Clearly not factory. It rolled coal with the slightest throttle...which is NOT good for diesels...and an obvious sign it's not running right.I called the guy to tell him I definitely passed. When he asked why I explained to him everything I just said. His responses made it clear he knew about these issues before hand. Yet, he didn't even have the respect to tell me any of them before I drove 8 hours and wasted an entire Saturday. That is simply terrible business and people I don't think you should trust. They tried to sell the truck with a malfunctioning AC system. Only after a potential buyer complained did it go to the shop.I wouldn't recommend.

I m a firm believer that you shouldn t follow the experience of others. If you ll notice the negative reviews are shown for the most part. I was kind of skeptical about purchasing from this company. Please don t let the negative reviews run you away. My purchase went sooo smoothly and quickly that I had to ask if I was finish. The guys that serviced me were very helpful in working with me. I would recommend. Great group of guys . Thanks

Excellent place. I came here a few months ago to transport one truck they sold to a guy in Oregon.. He was very happy with his purchase....and I saw a few trucks of my interest. I came and test drive a 3500 Ram Mega....they let me go and bring it to the Dodge Dealer where they inspected the truck...fantastic....clean carfax...I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good luxury or working truck. Great selection. Great people

Perfect sale, truck is now 2 years in my possession. Normal used diesel flaws but it's a used truck, and it takes money to make a used diesel perfect again. Don't listen to the other fools who pay in full before flying in to drive a vehicle back, do your homework don't be an idiot like these others with the negative reviews. Sales team nailed it and couldn't be more satisfied with my Duramax. It came to me a good driver, now it's a beast. Thanks Boardwalk.
