I recently got body work done here, I got rear ended 2 months ago. They did great work! Mike was very nice and accommodating and they had my car out quickly.

I had a terrible experience with this business! I had a wreck from a deer in the front, They had my car for 3 months then when I got it back I still had a fog light out.. half of my horn was working.. couldn t start my car up with my key anymore.. called him and he said he would take care of it and never did.. then 3 weeks after getting my car from Sammy s I had to take it in the repair shop because the radiator that Sammy s had replaced was an after market radiator (they had initially promised me all brand new name brand appropriate parts) that they put in and never tightened it up.. resulting in all my transmission lines being cut. So I called then telling him what he had done and he said he wasn t helping me with that. Man I really wish I had never went to this shop!

Honest to a fault! He quoted me a price that I was willing to pay but when they finished he charged me over $1,000 LESS!! He told me up front that he d save me some money if he could and he did.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Our truck was in an accident, our insurance wanted to total it, said frame was bent and made this decision based on pictures we emailed them, but felt that was a mistake and truck was in mint condition everywhere else but bed area. Wanted some other opinions/estimates. Took to Ford Dealership and they didn't think frame was bent but didn't act very interested, then Googled Body Shops in Hammond, only 3 surfaced, looked for reviews and Sammy's had a review that convinced me to go there. First time my husband and I met them we knew they would be the ones to repair our truck. They were like "family", made us comfortable, spoke like life long friends, very encouraging but honest. we challenged the insurance decision and won! My husband said he wanted the repairs to be done by Sammy's Body Shop only. Truck was ready earlier then promised, did some added work we requested and still managed to stay within the amount the insurance company paid! Mr. Sammy, Mike, & Jacob are good people and this business is AWESOME!Service: Body & Trim

Outstanding body shop that won't cut corners and does very quality work! If you need body work done on your car, this is the place to use. This was my first experience with Sammy's. All I can say is they are absolutely amazing. They took me to get my rental (in the middle of a storm and let me use his umbrella to stay dry) also had my car looking like it just came out of the Honda dealership with lifetime warranty on all the work and it was ready a day early. Defentily will be going back if I ever have any automotive needs!!!!! Thank you to everyone at Sammy's Body shop for getting me back on the road be blessed!!!!!!!!

I was nervous to deal with this shop because I had never heard of them before but I can now say without a doubt that I would not hesitate to use them again and I would recommend them to anyone. The guys that work there and own the place are awesome, professional, and very easy to do business with. The quality of work they do is top notch and they made my truck look like new again.

Friendly, personable family business. I've used them in the past and had them recently work on my truck. They have fabulous workmanship my truck looks like nothing even happened. Mike at Sammy s knows how to take care of customers. Super friendly and helpful. My wife gave birth the day our vehicle was completed and Mike drove it out to Walker for us to make things easy while settling in with a newborn. Worth the drive from BR/Northshore to do business with them!

This will be my second time dealing with this company over the years. So when it was time for another repair, I did not think twice. I call them immediately. They have always been fair and honest. In my lifetime I've had really bad so call professional people, that I would never use again. These guys are great. If I could give them a higher rating I would. Your vehicle will be repaired faster than any other in the area. The mechanics are excellent and the body works make your vehicle look like new.

I would highly reccomend Sammy's to anyone who needs body work done to there vehicle..I've been bringing my cars and trucks to them whenever I'm in need of body repairs or paint jobs...there's no body shop in the area that can compare to Sammy's ...I've been a customer for over 20 yrs
