I broke down on the side of the road with a busted radiator hose, Was able to partially repair it long enough to get me to 7 miles to Meads auto which was approaching closing time. The owner was kind enough to order the part we needed from a Ford dealership get it delivered and repair my truck even after hours on a holiday week. The owner, and employees/mechanics were extremely helpful, very nice and polite and very patient. I highly recommend this place!

Update: In May I had the hub assembly and rotors replaced on my truck. In July (after driving around 90 miles), I was traveling and I had my wheel fall off my truck. The tire literally wobbled off my truck, rolled an acre over into a building. I called the cops because I was stuck in the middle of an intersection with only three wheels and one rotor touching the ground. The cops showed up and asked if I had any recent repair work done.. and guess who did it. I had to get my truck towed to where it s currently in a body shop. Where the third set of people to look at my truck said that the lug nuts weren t even tightened.I am beyond BLESSED, LUCKY and whatever else that this didn t happen on the interstate. I am thankful that my wheel didn t hit a person or a car head on.Let this be a lesson learned read the fine print. Take it seriously. It stated after 50 miles to bring it back to get the lug nuts torqued however after multiple people stating the same thing I feel like this shouldn t happened either way.Nothing was mentioned at the time of pick up. I even said I was traveling and I wanted to make sure everything was good.So I no longer go here. I go to Tire Service Pros!! Also my truck is gone and I had to get a new vehicle . I ll still leave it at 3 since part of it was my misunderstanding and ignorance.Meads Automotive takes care of you. Back in February, my truck went in to get an engine replaced. Unfortunately, they had a little trouble getting the motor for it in (not their issue). Once they did, it took no time. They kept me updated. Gave me information and a pamphlet about the warranty I have. It was a fantastic first experience.I took my truck back in 500 miles for an oil change (required). For some reason the scheduling was messed up and I was no longer on it. But instead of asking me to reschedule, or to wait, they were able to make room for my truck. It was very kind of them to do so! They took no time at all. Full service check.Overall this will be my go to place from now on. I can trust that they will take care of my vehicles, and back anything they have up. Thank you.

So thankful that I was able to come in and order tires for my car. I was really hoping they would be able to order my Alfa tires and they did. Just dropped her off and not even two hours she was ready. Thank you!

I put my truck in for a grinding noise i heard in the rear end. My truck is not a daily driver. It also had a broken muffler that made it very loud. Their first call to me was that I had a transmission oil pan leak . Fine fix it . 200 and some change . Then they changed some bearings in the rear end and messed with the integral axel. All together $2300 or so. So over the course of the year I put about 200 miles on the truck driving locally. When I fixed the muffler and could actually hear and feel the truck again on the interstate I could feel the same grind as before .So I took it in for warranty . They obviously hadn t fixed the problem . Well of course they said it was the transfer case . How could they have missed that the first time ? Well he said it might have been on the cusp of going out . So remember that oil leak , I had that same oil leak when I brought it back in. He said he had his guy tighten up the pan bolts. So they let it leave with bolts that were not tightened allowing oil to continue to leak ..Also when I dropped my truck off I have never had any problem or problems with key fob or theft deterrent system. I have no clue on what they did , but now my key fob doesn t work , my truck would not start without resetting the theft deterrent system and wires were dangling down from behind steering column . No one there was too concerned about any of it and seemed like they just wanted me to go . Don t worry about me wanting any warranty work done Mr Mead , I ll chaulk that up as lesson learned and will never do business or recommend your business to anyone . UPDATE ::: THERE IS NO AFTERMARKET ALARM SYSTEM . Its the theft deterrent system installed by Ford . There is a reset button behind the panel where the engine panel release is . Google this stuff and you might learn something . Also my check engine light was never on when it was brought to you .you can spew all of the mechanical jargon you want to make yourself look credible but we both know what really went on . I ll bury my hatchet here. I ll go to my grave before I bring a vehicle there for any type of service .

They charged me for a fixed brake light and it was not fixed and keeps shorting out. The front counter attendants denied any knowledge on how to properly process the Synchrony Autocare credit card I asked they charge that they have a pamphlet about. They claimed to have done a diagnostic and lied. Auto Zone had confirmed the O2 sensor is still out and will show on diagnostics. They charged me 400$ for 200$ worth of actual work. I asked to keep my part and they said I still had to pay the disposal fee.

Fast and affordable. I am editing this review because of the fantastic service I recieved. Last week I took my truck to the new tire shop at meads for a front end alignment because of damage after the various storms our are had. They reset my trucks alignment perfectly. This may not sound like much, however today an inattentive driver pulled.out in front of.me on hwy 90. I had moments to react, because my truck was at peak performance I was able to avoid a 50 mile an hour crash. This would have most likely would have killed the driver in the truck and possibly my self. Thanks. 2004 gold Honda accord,,,ac compressor change out.;;;;;; AC mechanic did excellent job,I waited a year before I published this review,,,I damaged the main wire,to AC ,,,the mechanic,was able to fix ,my mess ,and fix my work carThank you,,,Meads Automotive great job !!!!!! ( ice cold)..

Very fast service. They troubleshoot diagnosed and find the problem and fix it right where it's at. They don't cut corners and make sure you get your company vehicle back when you need it.

I called and spoke to Kyleabout coming in and getting a patch for a tire repair and he had me immediately taken care of and out the door within 30 minutes. 10/10 Quality of service and customer service ! Very friendly and easy to deal with. I stopped in on my way to work. They looked up the prorated price for a replacement battery since mine died a little prematurely. No hassle, had the battery in stock and salesman immediately installed it himself since it was early AM and shop guys weren't on duty yet. Quick friendly service i won't hesitate to recommend.Service: Battery

The guys at Meads were great. They got my truck in soon, the mechanic called me looking for more details about my issue and they had it fixed in one day. When I went to pick up my truck they were sure to tell me things to watch for in the future just in case it happens again. During a road trip from Houston TX to Orlando FL my water pump busted and had me stranded at a gas station near Sulphur. I called Meads because they had the best reviews and lucky for me the reviews were right! Rich took great care of us from the very beginning. I had my truck towed to their shop, Rich found the pump, they re team installed it and had me out of there in no time. Thanks to them, we made it to Orlando that same night. I d also like to add how nice everyone in Sulphur was to us. As a tourist, I felt very welcomed and many people offered their help. Thanks again, Team Meads!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This is the only shop I will ever use! They do their absolute best to get vehicles in and out as quickly as they can, which can be a challenge because they are always busy. They are honest about the repairs that need to be done and are pretty fair with their pricing.

I was driving to Dequincy from New Orleans. When I got to Sulphur, my tire light came on. Thankfully Mead s was nearby because my tire needed to be patched. The service was exceptional and the price was fair. If not for them, I could have been stranded on the side of the highway. I recommend them to anyone who needs service for their vehicles.

I can t say enough about our experience here. My husband and I blew a tire on our way back to TN, and Meads was the closest place for a tire replacement. James and the entire crew went above and beyond to get us squared away as quickly as possible (even driving to another shop to get the exact tire we needed)! They made a stressful situation as smooth and lighthearted as possible. If we ever find ourselves back in Louisiana with a flat tire, we know who to call :)Service: Tires

I had car issues while traveling. My antifreeze was leaking from my vehicle. They got me in immediately. All the employees were extremely nice and proffesional. They put a timing belt and water pump on, and recharged my AC. Got me back on the road the same day. My vehicle has been running perfect since the repairs. I broke down in the perfect town and place. A/C was on the fritz and Mead's was able to get it fixed in a timely manner. Repairs of this kind can be pricey, especially with a truck, but the cost was reasonable. The service personnel were helpful and knowledgeable. I was traveling through Sulphur, LA when my van over heated. Long story short, I arrived at Mead's automotive at 7:30 am when they were opening. Rich, at the desk said they were booked all day however, said he would see what they could do. They replaced a hose (which had 4 or 5 other hoses attached). I was out of there by 10:30. Everyone was friendly and while sitting there waiting, Rich's conversations with every other customer was friendly, sincere, knowledgeable, and honest. Great place and again thank you for the quick resolution.

I had a excellent experience at this repair service. I had a fuel leak.
