This place was awesome. The staff is professional, friendly, and highly skilled and proficient. They were fast, and yet patient.$$$ All tires and service was fairly priced, so you don't break the bank! This place should have a commercial and a billboard advertisement on the I-10 freeway!!!! There is a clean relaxing waiting lobby with a restroom, TV, comfy seating, and refreshments. Eventhough, I am passing through town, I highly recommend them for all your car needs. Please check them out, you will not experience a better tire or service shop. Keep up the great work!!!

Absolutely the best car service I have ever had, and some of the nicest mechanics I had ever seen as well. We're not from this area, and they worked us in even though they were busy to make sure our trip kept on rolling. Highly recommend these knowledgeable guys

Always a wonderful experience! I ve used Mavis several times after moving to this area about 6 months ago, and from the first visit, I ve always felt like I was being welcomed by old friends.The service is fast, there is great communication regarding vehicle, and I truly feel they are looking out for my best interest. I wish I had more than 5 stars to give!

Amazing service! So grateful for the guys here who were able to help us out with our tire. My family and I are traveling from Florida and everyone here was so friendly, professional and fast. These guys were amazing! I was traveling through from TX to FL when my car broke down. After replacing the alternator I also needed a new front tire and after calling around to several shops Mavis gave the best price and had us in and out very quickly. Chad was professional, friendly and even had the crew put air in all my other tires to ensure me and my daughter make it safely back to FL! Definitely recommend anyone to come here!

Well, Great service when my sister brought in tires. Chris was nice and fast. However I brought my car in to get the rotors and brakes changed, shouldn t have been more than 2 hours, as i was there, the mechanic told me my shocks were worn out so I asked to have them changed. The parts never came in that day from advanced. waited five hours to practically be ignored. brought in my own front brake pads and rotors. Got the bill for 655$ Looked at my receipt and found out I was charged a 50% markup. Called and asked why. He said it was standard.( The next day the manager said it s at the clerks discretion on how much to mark up) They asked me if I still wanted my shocks changed. I was pretty iffy at that point. The general manager calls me and says to make things right, I ll do your shocks and cost and labor 250$ so I give them another shot. get there the mechanic gets it done in a timely fashion, I go to leave and every small bump i hit a terrible noise followed. brought it back to shop, the shocks weren t fully tightened. oh and they charged me 90$ on top of the 250 as stated the day before. I m starting to think it was because I m a woman. Now when I brake and my car idles it vibrates like hell, Needless to say if you need tires, they might be good, but if you other issues, I wouldn t chance it. Bring your business else where.

The best customer service I have ever seen. My son came from Houston. Front end went out. These guys were great. Christmas weekend and they had his truck fixed the next day on Christmas eve. Thank you guys for being so helpful to my son. You are awesome. Christmas 2023

Customer service is OUTSTANDING! Got me in an out quickly, and had the tires on hand that I needed. Prices were competitive as well. But what REALLY stands out to me was the service. I have never had such a pleasant time waiting on my tires to be done! These guys are wonderful and I will absolutely be a returning customer!

As a travelling RVer I discovered a small bolt in my truck tire. I contacted Mavis tire. On the phone they were very courteous and helpful. When I arrived from 30 miles away they were even more helpful and courteous. I was in and out with my tire repaired in less than an hour, without an appt..Everyone at the shop was great. The waiting area and the whole facility was clean and professional

Drove in from Lafayette, LA to play a show at the Casino and when I got in town I notice my car was wobbling and looked at my tires and saw one was worn down to the wire, I had to be back to Lafayette early the next day so I went to Mavis first thing in the morning and they got in and out of there fast while still maintaining great quality. Thank you so much!!!! This is not the first time Mavis has helped me in a pinch!!! Love this place!!!

2024 Update: awesome service again. New rotors, pads, and calipers for my high-mileage vehicle; others here for tire replacements in and out quickly. Most welcoming and friendly manager. I really appreciate being respected and appreciated (yes, at an auto shop); I m a curious person and they andwered my questions in a way I could understand. I let them know I m here because of how well I was treated last year. I travel a lot and only pass through, but I think I ll be calling this my home shop. (Adding a pic of the chic? vending machine this time) 2023:Very positive experience with same-day service on a routine tire rotation. Highly recommend, and I ll return when I m traveling through this area next year. My phone call was answered promptly and I was courteously invited to stop by and told they would fit me in. The guest waiting area was small, but turnover seemed like they worked steadily, and they communicated well with everyone in person and on the phone. I heard transactions involving tire sales and tire flat repair. Once my vehicle was ready, because I liked how they worked with people so far, I asked some questions I had about other repairs for my vehicle, and if they could recommend a shop that could fix them (electrical issue). They also volunteered advice about a future brake replacement. I had seen a coupon in their website for a free tire rotation, and they honored that even though I had no other work done. Overall a very friendly and considerate shop that seems to care about giving people a very good value. (Also their waiting room has a vending machine like I d never seen before - thanks for the diversion!)

If you're looking for great tires, great service at a great price, Mavis Tires and Brakes is a great place to go . Conveniently located only about 4 or 5 minutes South of I-10, they are currently open 7 days a week and often open late to meet your tire repair and tire replacement needs, be sure to check the hours of the day you want to come by. You can also call and request a reservation to have services performed. Selling tires in Sulphur, La are not the only service they provide as the do alignments, brakes and oil changes as well. If you need some free air in your tires they are happy to top them off and get you back on the road! (That's actually how they earned my business!)Friendly staff, and the manger I spoke with, Zach, did a great job explaining what my options were for the tire repair I needed. Smooth transaction and I was back on the road quickly. If you're looking for tire places in Sulphur pick Mavis and you'll have picked a winner.

A flat tire is not the way we d like to start the day off but, it happens. When I needed help, I called up Mavis Tires & Brakes, they gave me an idea of what I would end up paying, told me to swing by and that s what I did. Nothing short of excellent work as well as cooperative individuals. They hooked me up and sent me on my way. Highly recommend this business.

Mavis tires in Carlyss is always Tops! The new manager greeted me at my car door. I still miss Chris but this one was very nice, The cashier Heather showed me to the waiting room. The waiting room was very clean they came check to see if I needed anything even offered me breakfast Got new windshield wipers they had a special today. Usually my hubby handles my car needs but I feel comfortable going to Mavis. My wait time for my oil change was not long at all. They rotated my tires and I was on my way. Great service!

This was my first time getting new tires and they were great. Heather was super nice to me and fun and pleasant to talk to. The prices were very fair and it took about 2.5 hours, which wasn t bad at all.New tires seem great so far, and I ll definitely come back!

Brought my truck in (2006 gmc sierra 1500) it was close to being undrivable but they looked at it and got the issues in my front end fixed and now the steering is better than its ever been. Highly recommend. They were fast and easy to talk to and made sure i could get home safe for the holidays

Had a tire losing pressure, went to a tire place on Cities Services near i10, they said they were too busy to get to. Called Mavis, he said bring it on over we will take care of you. Got there, they were very busy but a gentleman came over to the truck within just a minute or two and told me they would take care of it and told me we could wait inside. There was a big nail in the tire. They fixed it and didn t charge me a dime! Mr. Guillory is very kind and professional and this will be my go-to tire place from now on!

I ran over something on my way home from work and realized around 5:30. I saw mavis was still open and rushed over. Not only were they quick and accommodating, they were super helpful and the customer service was out of this world!

So my car caught a blowout on my way back to Houston. I called these folks and I spoke Josiah and he was soooo helpful! They was about to close. This young man stayed open until I got there and they took good care of us. I m sooo grateful for those guys!
