I have used John s Auto Service several times in the past. They did great work at an affordable price. John is always pleasant and very helpful. Recently, I had a problem with my ignition switch. John took a look at it, fixed the problem, and had me on my way. Highly recommend!!

The service was absolutely outstanding!! I was trying to get back home to Houston from Louisiana and my temperature light came on. Paul and John were so polite and really helped me when I was in a bind. Even though they were booked and completely busy for the day Paul still took the time to look at my car (which still took about an hour), fixed what was needed and gave me everything I needed to make sure I was able to make it home safely! Truly wonderful people and service!! I cant thank you guys enough.

Went in to get steering rack changed, (electrical car). His mechanic/ business doesn t know how to fix electrical steering systems, programs system he had to tow my vehicle to the dealership to get it program, tow my car without my permission, didn t tell me he tow my car until after the fact! once my car was released from the dealership their were other problems was found. That Paul did.. Chrysler dealership informed me that their were a Broken cable ground, dead battery cell, miswire s from installing the steering rack incorrectly. Then owner tried to blame me stating someone went in my fuse box and removed fuses and placed in jackets which I didn t believe, using that so I could be held accountable for his fraudulent act so I would be responsible for the charges, but it didn t work once I received the report from the dealership. The dealership charged him for fixing the problems that his business done incorrectly and he changed me, bringing my invoice immediately over the limit. Most definitely will not return nor get my service again, if you re not a regular customer I wouldn t recommend. Con artist at its best!!! I have to say that my experience with this garage was the best. I was from out of town and my brakes had gotten so bad that the truck was dangerous to drive. When the owner, John, saw my situation, he fit my truck in to his busy schedule and had me back on the road within a few hours! The price was excellent and the work is expertly done. I would highly recommend Johns Auto based on my experience with them. Thank you and keep up the good work! That is how you build and continue a great local tradition.

I called because my truck was running funny after going through high water and I was scared to drive it home. He told me that he was backed up but he could put the machine on it to make sure it was safe and drivable. When I got there, he diagnosed the problem and proceeded to work on the truck immediately! I know that they were busy and had other clients, but he took the time to take care of my vehicle. That means a lot to me! this is my 3rd time having repairs done by them and they have found a lifetime customer! Thank you for your service. I asked Paul if he was able to fix the wires that were loose on the battery.He took a look at it to make sure it was a quick fix and within 5 min he was done!!(And they were super busy)Love his professionalism and kindness!Definitely coming back to get my SUV serviced!!Service: Battery

I have own my truck for a few years now ,I have dumped a lot of money into it trying to get it to run right, I dropped it off soon as I got off work by noon they told me to come pick it p .they did an awesome job on it and didn't charge me much. Highly recommended for automotive repairs . Thankyou so much !

I am from out of town and needed my car repaired quickly. I called Johns and Paul was incredibly knowledgeable and the repairs took less than 24 hours. This shop will definitely get my business while I m in the area, and I will recommend it to anyone needing help. As a sister of a mechanic, I know how important it is to make sure you get a great mechanic and appreciate them, and these guys are great and so nice.

John, Paul and everyone else that work up there have my respect. Honest people who have the best prices in town. I had originally brought my truck to another shop in Lake Charles because it was closer to my home in Iowa where I had it towed from. I was quoted $2700 even with a military discount. I called a few more nearby shops that quoted me similar prices. I decided to call John's Auto because they had replaced a clutch for my younger brother a few months earlier. I knew they gave my brother an amazing price, but I figured they were helping out a college kid. That being said, it will cost me under $1000 to have my truck completely fixed at John's, so the low prices are for everyone! Very friendly people that will continue to receive my business for life.

After hearing some squeaking on the Suburban I just purchased a couple of weeks before. I figured I'd take it to John's to have it looked at. Paul said they could schedule me for the following Monday being that they were really busy. And then he suggested another mechanic. but said that if they couldn't take care of me just to come back and he'd stop what he was doing to at least take a look at my truck. I came back about 30 minutes later. And he jumped to see what was wrong with the truck I figured it was my front wheel bearings. Turns out my rear universal joint was completely trashed. And I could lose my drive shaft at any moment. as soon as he got up from underneath my truck he said he could not let me leave with it the way it was. He ordered the parts I needed and got on it right away. putting on hold everything else that he had going on. I'll tell you what if that's not True Professionalism! I don't know what is. Thank you Paul and everyone at John's Auto service. You guys are a true blessing. And I will definitely be coming back.

I had the HARDEST time finding service today for an easy task (blown fuse). I scoured ALL OVER Sulphur and the mechanic shops I did go to were rude and condescending and did not make any attempt to even look at the problem. I made it to John's and I will not go anywhere else! Not only was the service impeccable, but he made a genuine effort to help eradicate the problem. I am beyond satisfied. THANK YOU JOHN'S AUTO MECHANICS for going above and beyond when no one else was willing to! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

I appreciate the professionalism and prompt service I was shown by John s. My granddaughter s car needed a starter, and Paul dealt with me by phone to get her car in and out quickly. She is a college student supporting herself, and her car is her lifeline. They were easy to deal with and treated us fairly. They ll have my business.

My alternator went out on my 97 Camry and being in a town I was unfamiliar with I did my research and found John's Auto Services on Google and decided to give them a try. The owner, John, was very knowledgable and friendly and I was in and out in an hour and back on the road. Paula, the office manager was super friendly and made me feel like I was family. Affordable and honest. Great Job John!

The vehicle service received was excellent. Paul is extremely knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about his clients. His prices are very reasonable and the work is done quickly and professionally. I needed some work done on my Equinox 4 years ago. I needed a new engine in my car. Johns Auto Service had my car for a week. My husband and I won't go anywhere else for our vehicle needs. Brakes failed on our trip and even though they were really busy they repaired them in a day so we can still squeeze in some sightseeing and good food before leaving town. Included rides to and from the RV as well. Great people, amazing service!!!

Just got here to pick up my work truck. Left it here to get it diagnosed. Everything of value is missing from my truck all of my tools and anything of value. Do not trust this place under any circumstances. Will be filing a police report after work tonight. I have been here living in an RV since September helping rebuild. All of my drills, dewalt tools, everything gone. As if it hasn't been difficult enough here for the past 4 months.

I was very pleased with the service. I brought my car in for a repair that they probably could have overcharged me for without me being any the wiser, but they fixed the car for less than i expected, and had it done in one day. John's auto repair is where I'll be going the next time i need a mechanic.

Best I ever had. they were so helpful and very affordable. They went out of their ways to make sure I was taken care of. They knew how inconvenient my work schedule was and they made extra effort and brought my car back to me at work after it was fixed. they are well worth the 5 stars I gave them.

Very nice and honest people. I will definitely be using them again for my future transportation issues. I actually did go back and they suggested another shop since my truck is a diesel. Very nice and good people.

Is there another mechanic shop around?, "FREE ESTIMATES", some thrive over charging you to tell you what needs to be fixed then charge you to fix it, I've been dealing with John and his son Paul for years, this is my one stop shop for mechanic work at it's best,
