A/C was broken and I made an appt, although I had to wait a month on waiting list to get in, my vehicle was ready in two days, once I finally got in! The A/C works great!! The people are honest, hard working and care about the work they do, wanting to make sure the customer is satisfied! I appreciate a family business like this and thank God there are still people like them in business. Very reasonable and respectable business.Service: A/C installation & repair

Clyde & Jan are absolutely amazing humans!!! They still carry integrity & honesty in a world that's typically all about getting everything they can squeeze out of someone else. I was once quoted close to $1,000 on a job that Clyde did for less than $200. Last week I had my mom's AC repaired & Clyde replaced her compressor, recharged her system, aired up her tire & ran diagnostics for less than $600, with a 1 year warranty. LESS THAN $600.00!!!!! These people are genuine & will always have my family & myself as customers.

The best mechanic shop in SWLA Southwest Louisiana.Clyde's Garage is owned and operated by Clyde. Jan, his lovely wife takes care of the paperwork and has her finger on the pulse of the daily operations of the shop.Jan schedules appointments and is knowledgable enough to troubleshoot specific problems with vehicles. She was able to tell me what she thought was happening to my truck while I was shopping at a Walgreens location around the corner.Their son Chris is his father's right hand man, working side by side with his father on the mechanical aspects of the business. I was able to watch Chris in action today and was impressed.I told Jan that after my husband replaced the brakes on the front, it felt as if the brake on the right front was hanging up, even as I idled.My truck would not move an inch. Normally I have to keep my foot on the brake pedal to stop the forward motion.After the calipers, etc are replaced in my 2000 Dodge, I will post back with more specific information.I am certain that all will be addressed in the coming days.I just submitted a photo of Clyde, who was willing to allow me to take a photograph to post here on the Google Maps platform.I was sitting on my tailgate waiting for a ride home, when I took a photo of an impending storm. I sat and watched passerbys on Maplewood and took another photo. This may help to identify his exact location of the garage. I believe its directly across from the Maplewood Church of Christ.

I brought my car in to see what the problem was. It turns out that my transmission is acting up. They gave me helpful and useful information to head me in the right direction to obtaining the necessary repairs and did not charge me for looking at my car. I have used Clyde's Automotive before and I will definitely continue to use them. They are very honest and trustworthy.

Mr. Clyde and his crew are lifesavers. Service was quick, efficient and all around wonderful! They got my mom on her way home asap. I want to give a big THANK YOU for all of their help. I'm not sure what we would have done if it weren't for their helpfulness. This is the only place our vehicles will go when repairs are needed.

I brought my car in and within like 4 hours I got a call and they had told me my air condition wasn t working and now it is and was cheaper than I was thinking it would be for a wiring issue and we have brought it to Honda and a few others and Clyde was the only one that I brought it to and fixed itService: A/C installation & repairService: A/C installation & repair

OMG Clyde is so sweet I could cry. From out of town working. Chevy bearing going out. Clyde helped me right away. Even though he's backed up. Another supposedly "Great auto mechanic" wouldn't help me even though I'm a women alone. God is good and I will always remember Clyde.

Excellent automotive air conditioner and automotive repair service. I have used them several times for both services for my family's cars. I had just left Texas headed to North Carolina when my AC went out. Gave Clyde a call and he told me to bring it in. He stopped what he was doing and immediately began work on my car so I could get back on the road. Super nice and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Words could not sum up on how amazing Clyde's was! Absolutely amazing people that work there who are kind, just awesome people! They know what they are doing and are Very reasonably priced! Very informative. Not often you find a really good repair shop that treats you absolutely perfect! Best in SWLA! Thank you guys!

Great service from this establishment and great people. They worked on my truck A/C, figured out the problem and got it back to me in 4 hours. I would highly recommend Clyde's automotive. Thank you gentlemen for your help on getting my A/C working again.

I am visiting from out of state & car a/c wasn't cooling so called Clyde's & was told to come on by even though they don't work on BMW's. Got there they got on it right away & charged the a/c, thank goodness no more warm air. They were extremely kind & very reasonable in their fees. If lived here would use them again.

They got us in on short notice, and because it was late in the day had to keep our car overnight. The owner's wife drove us to a hotel and picked us up the next morning when the repairs were finished. Excellent work, fair prices.

Had to have several components of my F-350 diesel s AC system replaced. Prices were very fair and they got it done sooner than I anticipated (under a week). Would recommend!!

I have known Mrs Jan and Clyde for about 30 years now and they are very friendly and caring and do great work! Clyde is probably best known for his AC work, you wont find anyone better!
