I brought in my Nissan Versa after the local dealership replaced my left front c/v axel and messed it up. They guys at Taylor's were super nice, honest, and helpful in getting me a fair price and fixing what the dealership messed up. Will be taking my car there from now on.

I am late posting this. We took our Corolla there to have them fix the water pump, we even had the parts already. First off, when I called, they were extremely polite. I spoke to the son, got there and spoke to the dad, went back to get the car and spoke to the son again. LolThey are very amazing people. Really honest, fantastic prices, and had it done in a day. He even said he was low on employees that day. I went pick up the car, started it, and it screamed at me twice, turned out the belt was lose, they took it, tighter it right there and told me to enjoy the rest of my day. They were so extremely nice, fast, and the car is so quiet now. Before it sounded like it wanted to die. I highly recommend them. I am someone who DOES NOT trust people at all, but I will trust them again if needed or to anyone else.You can't beat their hospitality, their prices, and their fast but fantastic work.20 stars!

Edited to add to owners response and claim... my description is 100% not false and I have proof and willing to show to anyone. I hope you are more honest in the future. This experience was very upsetting.Only honesty we received is them saying they don't like dealing with warranty companies. Had two cars there. Only told us what they'd charge to diagnose one of them. Over 24 hours later we had to call for an update. It had not been looked at in almost two full days. Other car...they agreed to use warranty. But told the company the cost would be one price that way exceeded what company would cover. Then gave us an even higher price than they told them. We are talking about a $300 difference. Needless to say we were there within an hour to pick up both cars. They ended up charging us a diagnoses fee on the second car that we didn't know was coming. And they charged us for them contacting the warranty company and doing their job. I will never recommend them. Lies all over.

I needed replacement of coil in my Nissan Quest. Car was shaking and couldn t drive. I was so scared. Nothing worst than no car. Especially when your caring for cancer patient Called and the Owner answered,,he was so compassionate and understanding! He told me to bring it and he fixed it while I Waited !!! Father and son business. His son was wonderful at communicating and explaining. Very respectful and reasonable pricing. Not looking to hit you for money !!! I highly recommend this auto business!!! Don t go anywhere else. I m very grateful to them !!!Service: Engine repair

Had my car towed in late on a Friday, dropped my key in the drop box. I had never used them before so I crossed my fingers all weekend. I got a call first thing on Monday, they ordered the parts and my car was ready before closing. Way to go Taylor s!Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

I dropped my car off yesterday with aftermarket parts and I was able to pick it up today and go straight to work. They did a great job of keeping me up-to-date on the process and the customer service was great! If you re looking for an auto repair shop to go to in Slidell, this is a great one right here! I had a good experience with this business regarding the maintenance on my vehicle, the staff answers your questions and fixes your vehicles in a timely and correct manner. As far as prices go, it's a mechanic shop so if you don't like the price go buy the part and fix it yourself.

Most honest mechanic shop around. Brought my truck in for an oil change and brake pad replacement and the level of communication I received was top notch. Even when there was a slight issue (absolutely no fault of the shop) I was updated immediately of the situation and given a timeline of when it would be completed. To my surprise, my vehicle was done before the estimated time! Pricing was also very reasonable. I will definitely be back anytime I need work on a vehicle, highly recommend!Services: Brakes, Oil change

Taylor's Auto is by far the best experience I've had with car repairs. Marc and Marcus were both incredibly knowledgeable and honest. My situation was pretty severe and they walked me through every single step with care and compassion. They never talked down to me and gave me every angle to consider. My husband who is a disabled Vietnam vet, had a tire blowout a block away from this place. They put his spare on in seconds flat and didn't charge him . They were so sweet.

I highly recommend. Very professional and super fast service. Because my car's problem required tools that usually only a dealership would have, after a day of working on my vehicle and realizing that my car required dealership specific tools, Mr. Taylor did not charge me a dime! Considering I am unable to make an income without my vehicle, his kindness and generosity meant the world to me. He would get TEN STARS if I could. Thank you Mr. Taylor!Service: Electrical

I don't leave a lot of reviews, but Taylor's really stood out. As someone who doesn't know how to work on cars, I am always afraid of being taken advantage of. I never once felt that feeling when communicating with Marcus at Taylor's. He always had the utmost professionalism, explained issues and solutions thoroughly, went above and beyond to research the issue (I have a non-US-market engine so he had to read some forums to figure out how to solve my issue) and give me some options. The cost ended up coming in under the estimate. Real professionals here!Service: A/C installation & repair

First time visiting Taylor's. Stopped in to set an appointment for A/C check up.Summer is coming ! I have had a slow leak for over 3 years could not find where. They fixed it that day in 30min . Super nice folk's .

You can not find another mechanic shop with a more professional work ethic than Taylor auto. I find them to be upfront, honest and very reasonable with prices. They treat me with the up most respect. They fix things right the first time. The peace of mind they give me is priceless. A service/repair center you can actually trust. Quality repairs and very reasonable prices. I have been going here for years and never had a single issue with anything. They are honest and do not try to sell you something you don't need. Ray the owner is always personally involved with transactions and a wealth of knowledge. Ryan has always done a good job ... always does my oil changes, batteries, tire issues etc.Services: Battery, Oil change

I can not say enough good about this place ! I was on the Road traveling From TN to TX to help make funeral arrangements for my Mother who just passed away. We stayed at a Hotel in town & someone at the Hotel decided to mess with a good many cars Valve stems in the parking lot. I stopped at Pep Boys & told them the story & even offered to take the tires off at 7:30 in the morning & they told me they could not do it until late evening & the same with the local firestone but they said the next day. My wife & I found Taylor's not only did he take it in immediately before he had any workers there he fixed it in record time maybe 15 minutes he would not take any money. On my way through town on a trip brining my mother back home to south florida , driving my husbands truck and it started acting weird. Got a hotel for the night and messaged Taylors. Much to my surprise they messaged me back even though it was late and had me bring it in first thing in the morning... It took Marcus 5 mins and it was good to go, no charge and amazing service. I would HIGHLY recomend for anyone looking for a honest place.

We're from out of town (NC) and had been hearing an odd sound on our car. We found this place by Google search mechanic near me and we're very strong on supporting local businesses. These guys were extremely friendly. Such an awesome family based business. We recommended them to our friends local to Slidell and to everyone who reads this review. They had many many toys inside and even a candy bowl for the kids while we waited, which was huge! Trying to keep two kids happy while the car is being worked on is a job and having those toys helped so much! 5 star for sure! Thanks guys! Thank you for your service.

I`m a 62 year old disabled mechanic.I`m not able to work on vehicles any longer and this is the first time I had to look for a local mechanic to due repairs for my own vehicle.So where do you go from here ?Let me tell you it`s not easy finding a mechanic like myself who for 46 years have repaired vehicles for a living and a firm believer that when your going to make any repairs on a vehicle you ask yourself would I put my wife and children in that vehicle that I had just repaired. YES I WOULD I prized myself on always doing the best repair work possible at an affordable price that my customers always came back to me for future repairs .And today I found a repair shop I truly believe does the kind repairs as I prized myself on for 46 years.These people are honest and tell you up front what your vehicle needs and give you fair pricing and First Class work. They are great at bringing your vehicle back to life and they did this for my truck in (1) DayI know these guys will be my mechanics from now on. First time I called, I asked for estimates on strut and shock replacement,... Person on the phone was very rude. "Sighed" a lot and told me right off-the-bat that they would not be the cheapest place in town. Even though I was not looking for him to commit to a specific price, I only wanted a "ballpark" figure and what all the job entailed. He did not want to give me any information on the details, he basically just said that he needs to see the vehicle first. Called me back the same day and eventually gave me a competitive price compared to the other automotive repair shops, but based on this first impression, I will not be using Taylor's Automotive, nor would I recommend them.

Nice folks; seem to know what they're doing. I've used them a few times now recently. Fourteen year old Taurus SE, we have been through a lot of miles in all those years. This last year passed 150,000 miles and Taylor's has put her in the fast lane again.

Very fast and courteous. I use my car for medical courier job. My car broke down on my way to pick up lab work. This shop jumped rite on my repair and had me back on the road in no time! Thank You TaylorAutomotive! Also very affordable! Thanks
