Through my experiences in the past with multiple vehicle issues, I have yet to work with a company so genuine. They were able to diagnose my car last minute and explain to me the extent of my current car issues. I was told what was the issue and why certain parts were needed to be replaced due to my make, model, and year. Due to the importance of the repair I had to resolve it soon due to me being pregnant and having to drive frequently. They helped me apply for payment options promptly after due to my financial situation. ( They had multiple options but applying for the credit card was best for me! )Once everything financially was resolved they immediately told me what they would be ordering and gave me a time frame for each step. We had a few things that slowed down the repair process, all out of our hands due to external issues, though we were able to continue to coordinate and keep me updated through texting!Through everything I ve grown to respect the transparency of this business and the kindness of both the owners and workers! My car now works amazing and all of the issues I was having is completely gone! I plan to continue my business with them and I hope anyone else who has any issue with their car to give them a shot! I m extremely happy and feel safer driving knowing that both my baby and I are safe

I couldn't have broken down in a better spot on my cross-country road trip! AMAZING service! I blew a water pump on I10. I called them at 4:45pm, they got me in the next day and got me back on the road by 5pm. The best of all, they didn't take advantage of a stranded motorist. Cory, the technicians, and the owner here are all great people! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I had some work done recently at Renaissance Motors on my 2018 Honda Odyssey. Cory, Charles, and his staff were very courteous and easy to work with. I felt taken care during the entire experience. I will be taking my vehicle back the next time I need work done and would recommend them to others.

My vehicle left in WORSE condition than when I brought it in. I took the van to the Chevy dealer upon getting it back from the shop owner Corey who is a literal criminal and they verified that the work hadn t been preformed that I paid for. They did not try to make it right or offer a refund or any money back for that matter. $1,600 down the drain and months wasted.

I have a 2015 Cadillac SRX that had some A/C issues with not blowing cold air as it should. After setting up an appoinment the day before, I came in at the scheduled appointment time and they took my car for diagnostics immediately. After about 1 hour, they had the problem identified and gave me a quote. I got the car back before the end of the day and the A/C was back to blowing cold air. All of the staff was professional and from conversations while the vehicle was being diagnosed, they know their stuff. Highly recommend!

Cory is TOP NOTCH for customer service. He calls himself the Honda whisperer. He worked on weekends AND through a second bout of covid-19 just to help get me back on the road. He walked me through each step and explained what happened to my vehicle, why it happened, and what to do to prevent it in the future. I can't fully express how thankful I am that he was able to get me back on the road. His payment options are vast, and automated with the click of a button for the customer. All you have to do is review the quote, approve the work, and then make payment(s). His prices are more than fair and will work with you to get the best price. The first time I went there they diagnosed the situation and fixed the most critical part needed that I could afford. I was given an itemized list of what had to be done. The other items will be done when it is financially and safely possible. I will keep coming back to them. They are not the cheapest, but the most reliable..

My experience with Cory and his team exceeded my expectations! From the very beginning everyone there was super welcoming, kind, and helpful. Customer service was top notch! I am not from the area so choosing a mechanic that is trustworthy and genuine can be a daunting task in a new location, but I can confidently say this shop is as honest and genuine as it gets. I was kept in the loop the entire process, Cory was very informative and thoroughly explained everything to me, there was no pressure to go through with the job once they quoted me, the process was quick, and they actually took the time to thoroughly look and find the real problem with my vehicle while many other mechanics I visited before Cory did not. Everyone went above and beyond to help me out. Beyond grateful for the team here and I highly recommend to anyone in the area in need of a good mechanic!

I am so lucky I found Cory on facebook to help with my bizarre Isuzu Ascender. No other mechanic would even look at it. They replaced the glass on the back which was broken, which they normally don't even do, and they had to literally search online for a piece of glass that was only manufactured for 18 months and they found it and its held up great. They earned a loyal customer and I literally tell everyone to go here bc I have been screwed over by mechanics before. I'm telling you this shop is different. They treat women with respect, many mechanics do not! I'd give 10 stars if I could. They are the nicest. The best!

From Idaho on a cross country road trip for our BBQ business, our duramax had a #7 cylinder boot issue on Sunday around Baton Rouge. We called Monday morning told them our dilemma and they got us in same day ordered our part. The #7 cylinder order comes with a #2 cylinder replacement but default so free of charge they replaced our #2 cylinder electric boot as well. Great customer service ran/owned by a wonderful family. 100/10 would recommend for diesel repairs or any car issues you need addressed in the future. Awhile back, we were told I had metal flakes in my oil during an oil change. We have a warranty on our vehicle and the only place that was A) willing to deal with a warranty company that would take us in a reasonable amount of time was Renaissance Motors LLC on the service road going to Walmart from Fremaux.Cory is the owner/manager, and he and his staff were beyond professional, and did everything they could to help us and keep us informed of delays. He even washed my vehicle and didn t charge us a reprogramming fee due to not being able to have the vehicle ready the day before as promised due to reprogramming issues.They are extremely fair, wholesome, family oriented people and would go to them again in a heartbeat!!Hope this helps anyone looking for transmission repairs!!Service: Transmission replacement

Brought my jeep in for the death wobble and various other issues a few days before JTC (jeeping the coast), Renaissance had it up and going just in time for us to enjoy the weekend. Highly recommend this mechanic shop. Very informative and helpful.

First and foremost: What great people!Cory saved the day for us. We encountered an issue with our engine while traveling cross-country. We googled and called 7-8 other places from Baton Rouge all the way to Slidell. I m glad I finally saw his page that said they specialized in Deisels and saw reviews of how caring they are. They are even more so. They got us in, diagnosed the issue, got the parts and got us back on the road. They went the extra mile to do some preventative maintenance to help make sure we make it to our destination and back home to Idaho.It s great to meet a fellow BBQ brother and fellow small business owner in the US. My experience was amazing! I'm from out of town and they were very busy but managed to fit me in and help me within 24 hours of contacting them from start to finish!! They were very fairly priced. From the tow truck fee to the parts and labor. Friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable shop. As a female I felt safe leaving my vehicle with them. They did not disappoint. I would recommend them to anyone from Slidell or out of town.

Did not have a good experience with my transmission rebuild. Poor communication. It took 65 days from the day I dropped it off until complete. I was promised it will be done by the end of this week countless times. One weekend I was promised that it would be complete I was told there was only about a hour of work left. I elected to return my loaner truck while I waited for the final hour. When I returned back to the shop my transmission was STILL in pieces and was shown a very obviously damaged seal that somehow got missed. I had to make provisions to get the loaner truck back that I just dropped off. I felt taken advantage of since I work out of town. Felt like my truck and my payment were being held hostage and had to get ugly several times. Would not recommend.Service: Transmission

Alright, you ready? My parents brought their truck down for some routine maintenance and upgrade. It was supposed to be simple. Cory has been amazing. It is obvious his reputation is important and customers come first. Everything that could possibly go wrong, and even a few things that should go wrong has. Shipping problems(UPS fault) manufacturing issues (Fords fault) and even the weather problems. Cory handled it like a boss. I will definitely recommend him and his shop. A small business owner like I strive to be myself. Thank you

Excellent customer service with super quick response time and an affordable rate! Cory found the problem, ordered parts and fixed it within the same business day. He explained everything happening with the car and what went into the repairs in detail! Great customer service by his other mechanics and Randee at the front desk as well! Knowledgeable, efficient, and had the customers best interest in mind! Cory was like a savior to me over the Thanksgiving holiday when I was on a road trip from Virginia to Texas. I stopped in Slidell for the night and the next morning my car would not accelerate. Even though it was his day off, Cory answered his phone and offered to meet me at the shop to diagnose the problem. He was patient, and knowledgeable and really tried to relieve my concern in a terribly stressful situation. I highly recommend Cory and Renaissance Motors as a trustworthy, honest, client-first establishment.

It has been about a month now and time for my review.I really have not had a reliable or trustworthy mechanic in quite some time. My friend raved on Cory at Renaissance Motors, so I decided to give him a call. I explained to him that I acquired a Jeep that the air was not working. I explained to him what I needed and that I had to get back with him to see when I could drop it off.As we were hanging up the phone he said to me "Well, I would like to thank you for possibly giving me the opportunity to have you as one of my customers." I thought "WOW" that is awesome customer service right there. Just from his phone etiquette, he had me as a customer, my friend was correct.Renaissance Motors is now my go to for any automotive needs and I will recommend and brag of his services. Not only did Cory have my Jeep for less than a day and a half, he fixed the a/c like new, two new tires, balanced, a few new belts, an annoying hissing sound that drove me insane and new tail light bulb for LESS that the total price of my previous estimate just for the a/c alone. I was sold and said "fix it all" I am also impressed on time convenience but also the multiple of other services he provides to his customers. He offers Uber or Lyft if you need a ride and he has a deal with Enterprise, $35 daily rental. I did take advantage of the rental and again Cory provided exceptional customer service. He set the entire rental up for me and all ll I had to do was go there, show my license and pay. Wonderful!I can not tell you how pleased I am to have found this business. I just love to keep and buy local as much as I can and I certainly did hit the jackpot with this one. I'm telling you, if you need a reliable, honest, trustworthy and prompt mechanic, Renaissance Motors is the place to go.Thanks again for such wonderful service all the way around.
