I was traveling from out of state. There was a ladder laying in the middle of the interstate and I hit it because it came out of nowhere. My vehicle threw it off the road so that another vehicle would not hit it, but while it was passing underneath my vehicle it punctured my gas tank.I smelled something and I thought it was the air conditioning, but in fact it was gas leaking all over. Law enforcement escorted me to one shop right off the exit of where I had pulled off, but the mechanic was gone for the memorial day weekend.So I called Paul's Auto repair LLC and they were quick to accept my call and help me out. With a punctured gas tank I drove from the one service shop to his. As soon as I got there he put the vehicle up on the rack.It was a holiday weekend, so I had to leave the vehicle there. That was okay I had a way to get to where I was going and then back home. But by Tuesday he had the gas tank replaced and did so for a reasonable rate.Thank you so much for helping me out when I was in a tough spot. I highly recommend to anybody who needs repair work on their vehicle.

Water pump went out on my Ford 2014 5.0L. Had it towed to Paul's about 11am and talked to him over the phone. I checked with him after work about 4:30 and it was ready and has run perfect ever since. Very happy and will be back in the future.

Finally getting around to writing a long overdue review of this repair shop. I discovered this place after moving to this side of town over a year ago, and have made them my go-to place for all my auto repairs. This family-run business has everything you d hope to find in an auto mechanic. They re not only knowledgable, trustworthy, and dependable, but friendly! And Paul, a special thanks for doing a 5-star job on my Marquis heater and charging a very fair price! Signed, a very happy customer. I'm from a family of mechanical wizards. I am not. My friend Steve suggested I take my 2001 Toyota Corolla to Paul's Auto Repair after having been taken for a ride by another repair shop. The estimate to get it done was $1,800. When Paul called and said it was only $606.63 I was floored. I cannot tell you how gratified I was!!!!!! My father Howard Eves, one of the founding fathers of the IGO(The Independent Garage Owners of America) back in the 1960s, specialized in Buick and built his successful business on quality and honesty. I think it can be said there's a reason why the lot at Paul's is jammed with automobilites waiting their turn. This man is aces!Service: A/C installation & repair

On my way to Slidell, I experienced a mechanical problem with my vehicle. I took it to Paul s Auto Repair and all I can say is he is a great guy and mechanic! Paul was working on another vehicle but stopped what he was doing to help me with my issue and get me back on the road. Not only is he easy to work with but he is very knowledgeable and fast. About an hour later and I had a new alternator and battery installed. 5 Stars!Services: Auto battery replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Battery

I highly recommend Paul's Auto Repair for all your needs. Family owned and operated, and very honest and professional. I needed a repair for my car that is my only transportation. Paul got it done for me the same day! Now that's a person who cares. Can't say enough good things about Paul's. Thank you, sir!

I was passing through, when my van broke down on the highway late at night. I researched the web for a mechanic, that had good reviews, as I don t know the area at all.I got my van to Paul s shop, first thing in the morning, prayed and hoped that he would be able to get me back on the road. He was very understanding, professional and knowledgeable , as he got the van in right away. He diagnosed what was wrong, ( bad alternator), got me a quote ( less expensive than two other places I called) and told me the repair would take 3 hrs, ( because he knew I was in a pinch, he put it as a top priority.)As promised, I was back on the road by noon!!!I can not thank Paul enough!!!!I will forever be great full!!!!

My family has been going to Paul for over ten years. From my dad's Volvo to my Civic Si, he can fix them all. He is extremely reliable, trustworthy, and honest. My only problem with Paul's automotive is that it is locates in Slidell, so I have to drive from my current home, in Baton Rouge, to get quality work done. It's still so worth it because of the quality of work. I always recommend him to family and friends.

I recently discovered that I had an oil leak in my Volvo C70 that no one in Picayune would touch! Through google I found Paul's shop and I am so glad that I did! He does excellent work at reasonable prices. I have found my mechanic! He truly is a hidden gem!

Paul just replaced the compressor and the valve for my Audi A8's air suspension system. I am very glad I trusted him to do the work. I found him really easy to deal with, and he didn't try to feed me a bunch of BS. Knows his stuff. Judging from the eclectic mix of cars I saw there, it seems Paul and his son can work on almost anything -- but particularly foreign imports! Highly recommend these guys!

I was driving to NO on a business trip. On the way down my check engine light started flashing. I pulled over and decided to stay in Slidell and try to find a local shop to look at my car. I'm not one to pay dealership prices for repair so I took to the internet. Based on the great reviews of Paul's I decided to give him a try. I met him there the next morning. I then traveled on to NO for 3 days of meetings. During that week Paul stayed in touch regarding diagnosis, cost of repairs, etc. I picked my car up later that week. It ran better than before and mileage went up a few mpg due to needed repair. Thanks to Paul for being an honest, friendly, and easy to work with guy. I HIGHLY recommend him. Thanks Paul!!!

The Owners/Mechanic's here (Paul & Rory) are AWESOME! Always friendly, they know what they are doing and are the best at what they do!! They are by far the best mechanics around! They are very reasonable in price, and they honor their word! Definitely the best garage in or around town! Wouldn't trust my vehicle anywhere else! Genuinely good honest people!! Thank you both for keeping me on the road safely!!!

I have taken my vehicles to Paul and now his son for over ten years and received exceptional service since day one. Paul is extremely knowledgeable and is an excellent mechanic. I would recommend Paul for all of your maintenance, and repairs of any kind for any type of vehicle.

Last Tuesday I was hitting the road from North Louisiana to Slidell to see my friend. Somehow my "Check Engine" and "Battery Warning" light pop up on my dashboard.... few seconds later, my water temperature shoot up to HOT (Overheated) so I decided to pull over IMMEDIATELY before anything getting worst! Got stuck on interstate 12 Eastbound (near exit 68) which its only 17 miles from the destination! Good thing I wasn't in bad mood or upset at all since I kept my cool & remain POSITIVE and don't let the day ruin my plan! I decided to put a towing request from my insurance provider from that location to Paul's Auto Repair in Slidell which is closer to my friend's place. When I first met them, I told them that I am DEAF..... both guys was so friendly and welcomed me in their shop. The owner came up to me and asked me whats wrong with it. I made a simple gestures.. Check Engine & Battery Warning Lights ON and Overheated. He immediately knew where to starts with. It was the belt that was busted! Know what it shocked me the most? That belt is original that cames with my vehicle since when I got that BRAND NEW back in 2014 (2015 model) from Kia! 207,000 miles later, belt busted! Obviously its very rare to see that belt last longer than I expected. I kinda knew THIS will happen anytime so I was right! SO they immediately performed (repair) my vehicle and 1 1/2 hours later.. its ready to hit back on the road! For some reason why I chose this place is a truly blessed... He handed the invoice to me which I knew it will be expensive to fix.... but know what?..... nah it was very reasonable cost that shocked me. I asked him ARE YOU SURE this is the right amount for me to pay. He said Yep. I was like.. hell I went paid for it! That saved my budget LOL! Then I left and hit the road. Til now, I am in New Orleans and so far its running VERY SMOOTH! Thank you Guys for making my day! Oh by the way, I had a puppy with me and they don't have no problem having the puppy at the shop! They are very friendly with puppy as well! I will highly recommend to anyone who happens to be in or near that area, go to them! Tell them that Josh sent you to that place! ;) (Sorry for the lengthy story LOL).Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

My boyfriend is on the road right now and moving from Houston to Orlando. Around the time he reached Slidell, LA the check engine light came on. Based on proximity and reviews I told him to check out Paul's. He called me 10 minutes later blown away. The owner not only agreed to look at the car even though they were completely booked up for the day but he ran a diagnostics for free and sent him on his way. Turns out it was a minor problem that could wait till he reached his destination. Definitely a honest and upstanding guy. I know it's weird I am giving the review but he is still en route to Orlando thanks to Paul's so he called and asked I write the review since they helped him out so much.

This is a great family owned and operated auto shop. Paul and Royre are excellent auto mechanics and have a ever expanding wealth of knowledge about autos. I have had my auto a 2008 GMC Canyon worked on twice here so far. The first time was new Struts and Shocks. My truck drives better than stock with the new Bilstein Heavy Duty Shocks & Struts. The second time was a diagnostic issue with a burning smell coming from my AC which was diagnosed as burning/burnt wiring harness. They fixed my issue with ease and I have had no issues sense;problem solved.What I really like about the shop is Paul and Royre will take the time to explain what parts they recommend for your vehicle. They ONLY use high quality after market parts or O.E.M. High Quality Parts;No Cheap Quick Struts/Parts Here with HIGH Priced labor like a lot of other shops in the Slidell area. They will give you prices ahead of time and if you like/prefer another brand of high quality auto parts, they will get the parts you want. They will even let you bring in the new parts your self if you find it cheaper than there part suppliers can get it. From my findings there prices for parts are excellent.Another aspect of there shop I like is they save and will show you how bad your parts were worn,broken burnt,etc.Unlike many shops there is no smoke and mirrors. They go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with there work/service. They are willing to work with you and stand by all the work they do to your auto.In 17 years of driving this is really only the second shop across the county I have ran into where I can be 100% sure my ride will be fully taken care of. You really feel appreciation that you are a patron of there auto repair shop and that they really care for your auto like there own.

Does good work on Volvo's. Not many other people near even work on them. The only bad thing I have to say is he left our doors unlocked and something went missing out of our vehicle.

Paul did an outstanding job of troubleshooting and fixing an intermittent electrical problem on my Audi A6. He also replaced the brakes and rotors on it for a fraction of the cost of having it done at the dealer. I will be going back to him for any future repairs on any of our cars.

Great mechanic. Very reasonable and great with my car. Worked out a lot of bugs and saved me a ton of money and unnecessary work that would have been done to my car. He s really a life saver and he has my business from now on!

They were fast and did quality work. Very friendly as well. But be careful! They seem to be price gouging the desperate. 404$ to change a wheel hub assembly on an 04 Silverado.

Considering they specialize in foreign repair its a 4 star. Although it would have been great if they offered shuttle when u need to leave your car.

After having a bad experience with another place in town, I was referred to Paul's. I found them honest, and they did a good job. Prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

I recently purchased a jaguar xj it had issues the lot where i purchased recommended me to a shop in marrero they were horrible i took my car and said i will find another shop i found mr paul it was closer to my house and good reviews this man made this process soeasy he fixed my car faster then the other shop took just to tell me what the problem was i would definitely be back thank you mr paul
