Allen is the man! A very honest and reliable mechanic, he will tell it like it is, not try to sell you something you don t really need. Excellent service at a fair price, do yourself a favor and make Allen your mechanic!

I recommend Mr. Allen and his staff. He (1) accurately diagnosed the issues with my car, (2) gave great communication with accurate (and REASONABLE!) estimates, and (3) had my car fixed not just on time but AHEAD of schedule.I tend to write reviews only when service is above and beyond what I expect. From talking with him, his explanations on the car were clear, concise, and compelling. He presented my repair options fairly and honestly. His information and expertise put me in the driver's seat on how to proceed.This was my first time visiting the shop. I was searching for a reliable, honest, skilled mechanic in Slidell after Mr. Jung next door retired. Mr. Allen fits the bill and will receive my REPEAT BUSINESS. I would send friends or family here without hesitation, knowing they'd be in good hands. This is the kind of place I would travel from out of town to patronize to make sure the job is done right.Services: Auto brake repair, Auto maintenance

I had a great experience here. My battery kept draining and Allen was able to diagnose, fix and have my car back in about a day. He kept me updated throughout the process and made sure I was informed about what was wrong and the best way to fix it. Highly recommend taking your car here.

Very trustworthy and honest mechanic shop. Allen is a man of his word and very dependable. If your looking for a mechanic shop that will be honest and reliable, this is the one. An amazing,honest person. Took my car in For an alignment, I left my car & went home - a little later,he called to tell me an alignment would do no good,I had structural damage & he wouldn't take my money . Always gets you in & out asap

My husband dropped our Ford explorer off Wednesday of last week to get the heater fixed and to figure out why the engine shuts off randomly. When I got my car back Friday, it was in worse shape then it was when I brought it to the shop. The heater is fixed, but the AC no longer works. The engine no longer dies, but now it rattles and shakes so bad it moves the entire SUV. It also is giving me a powertrain warning and is driving very stiff, which was not a problem before i dropped the car off. I was not given a receipt or list of services that were done that cost over $200. My husband has made multiple attempts to contact the shop with no luck and has left messages that have all gone unanswered.

Amazing! Allen replaced my wheel bearing a little more than 12 months ago and when it went out again replaced it under warranty even though I was over on mileage. He also caught damage to my axle, which he repaired for the cost of parts only because he had it torn down already. He runs a caring, thoughtful, hometown business!

I definitely recommend Allen! Not only will he work with you and let you know everything that is wrong with your vehicle, he provides professional and exemplary care to both you and your vehicle. There isn t a Nother person who I will let touch my vehicle, other than Allen!!

I was dreading bringing my car to a mechanic and put it off for a long time but I'm very glad I brought it here. The owner and mechanic were great to deal with, fixed me up quickly and a lot less expensive than I was anticipating!
