Had me move so 2 people that were behind me could go beforehand. Don't know what the reasoning was for this. Waited over an hour. I've come here for years and this is the first time I've experienced this. Loyal customers are put on back burner for new customers... I assume.. I'll be finding a new place to get my oil changed.

So not being any European car here.They disconnected my brake lines on my Audi a8 and forgot to put the oil cap on had to pay 300 to Audi down the street to fix it an hour later

I have made 3 visits to this location. The first visit was in July for a State Inspection. Both bays were occupied, so I started a line. In the following 15 minutes, more customers formed a second line. The attendants DID have the subsequent customers move and allow me to go first for my inspection because I arrived first. Fair enough. They performed the inspection very quickly, as a team, and directed me out of the bay to wait on the certification sticker. Once I got in the bay, everything went surprisingly efficient. So fast, in fact, they never asked for the fee. I volunteered the money and exited the business thinking I would patronize this business.I have returned twice since then for inspections and have been turned away both times. Once because an employee did not attend work that day due to illness. The bays were empty and three employees were standing idly around. A couple of months later they had no stickers the second week into November. Both times I was asked to return at 8:00 AM the following day. This was not convenient for me.The last attempt, I decided to call and ask before making the trip. After the annoying recorded prompts, I was able to navigate to a live human being. Unfortunately, this person was not on sight. She could properly pronounce neither Bert Kouns nor Shreveport. She was able to inform me the Kings Highway location would not have stickers until the 14th, contradicting what I had been told on site. She offered the alternative location on Bert Kouns, but I cant trust that their employees showed up for work. Apparently they can't do inspections if one calls in sick.I can't recommend these guys for inspections. Way too hit or miss. They might be wonderful at minor vehicle maintenance, but I am capable of maintaining most issues with my vehicles.

Wish I could give 0 ZERO stars. Waited 15 min on my lunch break to get a max 10 min oil change just for the girl to come out and tell me to swap positions with the guy next to me because he s been waiting for HALF AN HOUR to get his OIL CHANGED and that the guy infront all of a sudden has to get a fuel filter change meanwhile, I am watching the car in front of me almost get done all the while there s a bunch of laughing and carrying on going on. DO NOT GET AN OIL CHANGE HERE THEY WILL WASTE YOUR TIME AND NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL

The young woman spilled about 3 tablespoons of oil under the hood of my company truck. Either she didn't see it or she didn't care. No attempt was made to clean it. I chose not to say a word because as I looked around at the 5-6 young people actually WORKING, I thought of the millions of young people that have no desire to work and pull their own weight. Thanks Valvoline for giving young people, both male and female, an opportunity to work and do their part the best they can.

The staff at the King's Highway/Gilbert Dr. Valvoline location were all cheerfully doing their work. Too often around here, the customer-facing staff are having a bad day and inconvenienced by having to do their jobs and earn their pay. These guys were all happy to help and did an outstanding job. I have a feeling that this place is going to eventually become one of my favorites when it comes to working on me and my fiance's car not to mention he just got hired so I'm excited to see his journey working at this place because he loves working on cars and I'm very proud of him and I really appreciate the staff up there for giving him a chance plus it's just very professional and they have everything you need and are also extremely helpful!

I went to get my air filter changed due to my check engine light being on, well the filter was fine. Shout out the Mgr named Chris who was honest and did not try to charge me for no reason. In times like these integrity can still be found!

Mr. Tyrone was so nice to me. I came to get a wellness check on my car because I travel a lot. I found out I needed a battery and new windshield wipers and he was extremely polite and helpful by making sure I understood everything about the warranty and the process. I REALLY LOVE THE CUSTOMER SERVICES I RECEIVED TODAY . Worst customer service today and always,because he gonna tell me to pull out because someone else pulled up a second before wanting a full oil change so of course I couldn't trust under my car now because of anger just need a quiet tire check and he telling them not her after I sit there 10 minutes... under the first come ,but I was already rolling in and they knew I only wanted air. Which could be without rolling in, and while he walking around looking to get me in he could as fill the air, that is why I go to other Valvoline station then this one rude and can't do task to keep it moving.

The service here was superb. My family having to leave Lake Charles prior to Hurricane Laura didnt have an opportunity to get their oil changed. Anthony William's, manager and Jacob the attendant was very thorough, professional and courteous. With so many uncertainties this was truly a blessing to have great service. Thanks!

Great buncha fellas here. Brought my car in yesterday for an oil change and a fluid check. As per usual, they also gave me a list of things that need doing so I will be back soon because I have confidence in their recommendations -- I compared the list try gave me last time and the time before and they don't just check every box to get more money out of you. In fact, the bolt that holds my oil pan on snapped while they were putting it back on so they sent a guy down to the parts store and got a replacement, no charge.

It was ok they were knowledgeable of their jobs. However this is the second time. Your company did not have air filters in stock for a Chrysler 300c V8 with the hemi. Had to purchase at a part store myself.

They were very fast. I didnt even have to get out of the car. Jason honored my Groupon no problem and I saved so much by using there Groupon. Holmes Honda told me I needed a 1800 service that i asked Jasom here to check out. Not only did i not need it right then as i was told but it's not even bad enough to worry about. I will be back! Thank you guys for excellent service.

Went to this place on yesterday got the worst experience ever I had a coupon up on arrival he going to tell me I can t use it plus he going to tell me that it wasn t time for a oil so I told him ok so when I went to this other place to get it change they told me i barely had oil and my car even my engine light came on but now it s off since my oil was changed will never go back worse service ever

This Valvoline location is my favorite! They re always ready and willing to help with questions I have - which is a lot. Super affable and hard-working crew. They deserve more than 5 stars.

Staff was helpful, informative, and very quick. The technician gave me a discount without me even asking. She was wonderful! I am from out of town, but appreciated the hospitality for my one-time visit.
