Our 2nd time here. Stayed here to do a 34hr reset. Paid for reserve parking $22.00 We didn't experience any problems here. Other than the fact it was storming outside. We took showers, and did our laundry. They didnt have a problem with us dropping the trailer for a few hours. They did say they do checks at 4pm. This facility has a restaurant, the Iron skillet, which we didn't use. We end up going to Wendy's. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The showers were descent size and they had hair dryers. They also have the massage chairs, and drivers lounge with T.V.

Usually I buy food at the diesel fuel store. Good Louisiana cooking! But I was tired and wanted to set down and eat a good meal! So I ordered" Chicken Parmesan" ! First the spaghetti sauce was just a can Regular tomato sauce second the chicken wasn't breaded and it was so hard I couldn't barely cut it and it was a round shape. There's NO chicken have a round meat ! And No taste to it. It was Probably the Lab grown chicken meat! So just being on the safe side I just eat the plain spaghetti noodles!

My waitress( a mid age black lady,,, no racism people) was very cute and polite. Was very attentive. And very uplifting and positive. And did I mention cute. Food was very fresh and good. Truck parking and fuel island definitely needs some improvements. But overall not a bad place to rest and recharge for the next day

As I walked away they sat and giggled aand laughed . Every TA and Petro I know will take a corporate card to reserve and pay for a parking spot . If you don't like your job don't do it.leave!! I guess they allow people to repair trailers in the parking with hammers banging and impact tools while people try to sleep. 11/282021 2:15pm

Speaking specifically about the fuel island building. The bathrooms need a handyman to fix several things. Petro you need to hire full time dedicated janitors.

This truck stop is so pathetic. I was here on 02/12/2022 no employees whatsoever to conduct oil changes or tires. I arrived at this truck stop again at 06:00 today 02/13/2022 and the morning worker put me in line; however, this tech Lazarus told me he doesn't do oil changes; however, the yellow truck was 2 hours after my checking in this morning and what is O' Lazarus doing an oil change.

Stopped for fuel and coffee It s 1am. No coffee and the clerk went home and the only person in store was the lady in the deli and she said she didn t know how to use the register. No clerk and 4 trucks in fuel island needing fuel and receipts. Do better Petro

It's a shame that a trucker has to drive all day and, at the end of the day, can't get a decent meal for an affordable price. NO MORE BUFFET. I loved coming in for soup and salad but no more salad bar. The prices are outrageous. A bowl of oatmeal is $6.99!!!! No way in hell will I pay that. Club sandwich $13.49 plus $3.35 for a 12 oz soda that's mostly ice. I'd starve before paying $30+ for a steak here. I can buy 2 thick ribeyes and whatever sides plus drinks for 2 people and pay $25, and I know what's on it and cooked the way I like. You wonder why you're going out of business. Most truckers are company drivers and don't make that much. Once they pay all their bills, they're broke, and the prices here are over inflated. This is my final trip to this and any Petros or TAs. I'll eat ham sandwiches out of my truck before I pay $40 for a sandwich and country fried steak with boxed mashed potatoes with corn that had no flavor whatsoever I used to love coming here to eat, do laundry, and eat popcorn while watching a movie. Never again.

I have been in the trucking industry for over 30 years but haven t been over the road in the last 10. I was looking for someplace to eat and shower sit down, relax and I remembered the Petro in Shreveport Louisiana.. but I also felt like a rookie just coming out of driving school because of the way the culture has changed. To my surprise, the fuel island was very clean and attentive. When I went to the travel store, the manager Ron went out of his way to make sure my rookie needs were taken care of. It s a Petro a Broad has a manager like Ron I look forward to stopping at them in the future. The shower was very nice and clean. I had the pork chops and eggs with a side of pancakes and my waitress Sue just knocked it out the park to complete my day.I had stopped at several different truckstops and travel center looking for a place to eat that still had that home away from home feeling.I am so grateful that the Petro still provides this feeling to the drivers out here that keep this country, moving at the sacrifice of being away from thier families.I would love for the Petro to consider having their establishment In Clanton al.Jimmie HardeeChilton County Alabama commission chairman

The cook at the fuel center around 1545 May 28th. I ordered pork chops sweet potatos and rice with gravey over it but she served me mashed potatoes with gravey over it. She was on the phone all the time she was serving that's why she didn't get it right. I didn't want to make a scene so I just put it on here. Think there should be a rule no talking on phone while working

The woman on night shift will not load money on my cash app even though it clearly shows that the store has this service on the cash app locator. I don't understand why management wouldn't train their employees to do all of the services that they advertise. Otherwise the lady that works the overnight shift is pure lazy.. if I'm correct all she has to do is scan the barcode on my phone and the register will guide her through the process...she Wouldn't even try...

Very Good place to stop and,and relax, they have laundry mat, showers, drivers' lounge, and a restaurant ,plus a friendly staff in the main building, The fuel island plaza , they can be very condescending, but other wise the main store is ok, mechanics are very friendly and helpful, Truckers no need to be in a hurry , if the truck stop is full ,no need to speed and kill someone, walking ,, their other truck stops with in range if the petro.

The iron skillet was the bomb, their was a young man regular toast for me. We got the breakfast bar which was great. The young man was very polite and wonderful spirit. Our waitress was sweet as well. Can't wait to return. And the bathrooms were very clean. Thanks for the great service and great food

Was asking a question about reserve parking and if they honor them. Spoke to Tatiana around 8:30pm on 2/2/23 and was told that they don't honor them cause it'll cause fights between the paid and unpaid...when we asked what she meant she hung up. Called again and asked to speak to a manager and a male said none are available but then said hang on and called for Tatiana. Why have reserve spots if they won't be honored and if you're a manager treat a customer like that..

It's a truck stop, what do you expect? However, I got food from Iron Skillet and it was absolutely delicious!! Had the lemon pepper grilled fish and it was perfect. The beautiful young lady who took my order was knowledgeable and very nice and cute!!

There's plenty if large car parking. The restaurant is nice and comfortable and the food is pretty good. Although the menu hasn't really changed all that much, and they need to bring back the Little Smokies breakfast (awesome). The restrooms are always clean. This is a nice truck stop.
