I have a 42' Motor coach that needed towing 61 miles to Lonestar freightliner for repair. Tow truck left me an a semi fenced in area with plenty of lighting at 2:15am. At 7:00am I went in and meet Hunter at the service desk. Hunter was very professional and understanding. I was number 2 in line and they got to my coach by 10am. The mechanic was really friendly and very professional. He explained what was wrong and what they needed to do. Parts replaced and everything completed by 4:30pm. Extremely happy with their staff, the work, and the facility A BIG thumbs up to this company and its friendly professional staff!!

I purchased a truck from long star truck group looked at the truck at the Brayan Texas location salesmen was helpful when I was paying $148,000 for the truck they delivered the truck to me I went the same day to crank the truck starter was bad called the dealership and talked to the Jim Hollis the salesman and the one of the owners at the end I had to pay $1400 for a starter the interior lights were not working they declined to help with any repairs I purchased a truck from empire truck group had problems after buying in 2015 the owner had them repair that truck I have been off work for 9 weeks if they would have helped with anything it would have been appreciated

Great parts guys. They get most of my parts within a day if not in stock. Dee has been in the business for at least 20yrs that I know of. Keep up the good work guys.

I ve learned if you wait and be patient you can get her done! Thanks you guys for all the help and getting me back on the road!management, receptionist, shop mechanics, and also the janitor did a great job,I recommend if you have a breakdown in the Shreveport/bossier city area that your truck to Lonestar Truck Group!!!!!

We broke down, needed a water pump for a Detroit Diesel. This place didn t even have one in stock and was going to have to get one from somewhere in Texas and we were going to be stuck here for a few days. Couldn t do it. We were loaded and had to go so .. we made a few calls and about 1/2 up the road found an authorized Detroit parts dealer at Engines United. Don t waste your time with this place at Freightliner in Shreveport. They didn t even tell us about any other places. Acted like they were the only ones. Not good business practices and not good customer service. I give this place zero stars

Well I saw the reviews too late but it's pretty much right on . They work at a pace 2 mph The job they did in my truck was minimum 4 hours standard Which it took them an hour and a 1/2 to get it done... at a $165 an hour it's $660 and I got charged $775 total !!!!.I gave it 2 stars cause I got in and I was out of 5 hours It's ridiculous the mount they charge per hour labor.. It feels like they're taking advantage or ripping off truck drivers especially O.O..

Run, don't walk, away from these "mechanics". Dropped truck on a Wednesday with 3 problems. Was called Thursday saying truck was ready. Solution? "Could Not Duplicate". Spoke to a service manager because service writer did not write what I stated the problems were, she shortened it to what she wanted. Explained to service manager, he agreed that these were legitimate problems. Was told to leave the truck over the weekend and they would get to it on Monday. Just got truck back that they said was repaired. Solution? You guessed it....Could not duplicate. One of the problems I duplicated before I left their driveway.

Just like any other Lonestar; nice accommodations for patrons. Stay away from the female sitting at desk in check-in, she is NOT a people person. The young man standing at the counter was professional and helpful.

Don t ever come here .. this is one of the worst Frieghtliner dealership.. they held my truck for a month for minor repairs.. they leave you on hold for 30 mins.. and tell you your truck will be done tomorrow every time you call.. the also damaged my tv in my sleeper

Stay away, if you have other options- take it. Very slow working, a week it's not enough for them to fix a small problem and an oil change. Even as a permanent costumer we get the worse treatment so don't expect anything else from them.

Great place to get your semi worked on, nice driver lounge, everyone was nice,and helpful, but you know you got to have one person that isn't. Glad I didn't have to deal with her, but another driver told me he did.

Don t even waste your time going here. Service fast get you in, then it begins, the cost start adding up for things you didn t even go in for. Ladies in office are great but the service is slow. Went in for regen issues and was told I needed jake brakes replaced and over head done then get a manual compression done Before regen issue can be delt with. $600 just for them tell me it be next week before they can even get the test done. Don t even waste your time here, driver in waiting room with me been their all nite and most of the day over dead batteries. How long does it take to changed that. This place all about how much extra they can get out of you. And to top it off they sure will escort you the cashier to pay your bill, what does that tell you. Never again this place

Great location, easy in & out, new speedy diagnostic center worked well. Located problem & got it fixed in a very timely manner. Was warranty work & very satisfied with experience.Dealt with 3 other Freightliner locations & this one was by far the best one.

Came in to get one line replaced from the motor to the ac compressor has 2 clips and one bolt holding it on easy to get to as well waited 3 1/2 hours to be told they can finally do it then said would take 3 hours to do it while the mechanics haven t touched my truck other than to pull it in. Something that shouldn t take a hour to replace from experience working on them is taking them forever because their mechanic just walks around acting busy if I was any driver I d find a better freightliner if possible because the office people are nice but the mechanics are lazy and take their time to charge you more and are also rude.

2/15/21 I brought my truck in because it would shut off after a rgen and the check engine light would stay on. That same day they told me it could be an DPF temp sensor or a harness so the estimate with the temp sensor and labor was $856.65. But they told me they were shorthanded and they wouldn t be able to get to it today. so I check in at the red roof Inn next-door. 2/16/21 I called Jamie she tells me that the mechanic broke the bong trying to get the sensor out so they would have to weld it back to the one box. She told me the estimate time for that would be 10 hours. I called later that evening no one answered. 2/17/21-2/19/21 they were closed due to weather. They could at least called to give me a heads up. 2/20/21 They are finally open but only for a half a day because it s Saturday and they tell me that they will be ordering a part which will be there Monday.2/22/20 So I go up there and Jim tells me that they have to order another part.2/23/21 they tell me the truck is ready finally ready with a GRAND TOTAL of $2985.27 plus $364 for my room stay.I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO PAY FOR SOMETHING THEY BROKE.Very unprofessional and unorganized.

My RV had a hydraulic leak so I stop and the service manager sent Jason to take a look. Discovered I needed a hose and took photos of the problem. They were unable to work on it till next week but I but found the source of the leak. They didn't have to do this time is money for any business. Excellent service, great employees, highly recommend them.

I don t recommend NO one to go here because mechanics are lazy, they walk around acting like they working talking to other employees more than they are working on your truck an they don t fix your problem .this is one of the WORST freightliner service/mechanic department I have been too!!!

When I'm in or near Shreveport, LA and in need of parts, this is my go to place for parts. Their parts guys are always helpful and will try to get you the parts that you need to keep you rolling.

One of the biggest mistakes I ve made as a Trucking company owner was purchasing Freightliner Cascadia s both a new and recently a 2017 with 609plus thousand miles on it. The second mistake was Lone Star Truck center. After spending close to 4K I m left with a truck inside of 50 miles of leaving this shop with a check engine light which involves what I thought was repaired. After being told over the phone the truck had an all clear with checks it s hard for me to swallow 50 mile after leaving this shop. I am so bothered by this that towing the truck and trailer back to Atlanta is more assuring than taking it to Lone Star truck Center. This is a billable hour repair shop and that being said you will waste your time money selecting this company. I am not angry because 90 percent of my fleet are Volvo s but do yourself a favor don t make my mistake in purchasing FreightLiner or dealing with this company.

Nice Freightliner location, easy in and out. Great shop, parts, sales. Awesome staff. Great trucks, great prices. Fast service, friendly smiles. Ask for Dee in parts, he is a handful. Love to look at all the new and used trucks. Easy in and out. Lots of parking. Overall I give them a A plus

Live locally BUT will never bring truck here again. Jim do not bother with a reply to fix. We have brought our truck in there several times and it takes several days to diagnose and several more to get repair done. Let's also just say careful with being owner operators under a company because they will try to add additional unnecessary work by getting approval from. Company and not owner especially when asked. So last time 13,000 repair they tried to get PO on turned into 3400 and truck is still running despite their "recommendation" sorry not sorry

wow don't waste your time there if really times matter,just like any freightliner dealer with lots of excuses and procedures..am calling the same towing truck for the second time to get to another truck workshop..times is most valuable thing in life friends..will update later if this move was right.Updating ... I was absolutely right of my decision leaving lonestar ,, Vicks truck work did the job in just an hr..Mr John did great job,,thanx him a lot

Brought our 2019 Tiffen motor home to Lonestar in Shreveport today and we were helped immediately. Craig, the service tech, was very professional and diagnosed our problem in no time, took care of it and we were back on the road. PS...my husband was impressed with how clean their shop was .

This is the worst place if you are dumb enough this is the place to spend your money. U don't even emagine how much they ask me to fix my truck, but i took it to another shop it was totally different history. I just fixed my truck by less than 1/4off what they tried to charge me.1st they They tell you some little parts need to replace it and small cost. But after they start working on it and separate parts, they tell you hundred things to fix.That is how they make business.... don't ever let them touch your truck before you call around or check with other mechanic shop for the problem and what it costs.

Doesn't pick up the phone.. the secretary was really nice pally I belive her name., and transfered me back to parts 4 time 5 time Manger which didn't puck up erther.
