I have always had good service here. I moved away about 8 years ago and the place is still the same. Good food plenty oof pumps and even a casino attached if you gamble. I met a friend there and we sat out in the parking lot and talked for at least 2 hours without any issues from the staff for loitering ilon the parking lot. It's a good way out on hewy 1 but then again if you live out that way your happy to have a place close to you instead of driving 30 minutes to a store.

As seen in the photos...there is NO truck parking available. All spots are taken, mostly by cars.

This is supposed to be a truck stop but instead it is a car stop with cars parking sideways in the trucking area two Caddo parish buses taking up 3 spots, 8 trucks taking up 1 and 1/2 spots, my family makes sure to do business here because my husband parks here, but this is ridiculous

I'm in this store almost daily. I like the employees & yes Dee (manager) I like you too. Most of the employees in the last 2 yrs have been extremely friendly & courteous. Their regular customers are many & loyal. Thank you Dee & your employees for the service you've given me. Also the Hot Food is so good & will sell out fast but no worries the cook is on top of it with food coming out before you can blink your eyes. Love this store. Julia Bertrand (Allison's mom)

I bought a dab rig from this place and they told me to inspect it because there's no returns. I did that but they put the tag over the crack on the bottom so I could not see it. I got it home and it would never hold water so of course they would not take it back so they burned me for $20 by hiding the crack and they sold me faulty merchandise. I would not suggest giving these people any business since they give you a disclaimer then hide the fault on the merchandise. I traded with these people everyday and they gave up my business for $20.

Try again. 3 rd time stayed night. The parking always has room for big trucks. It s lighted it s quite and it s safe. Open 24hrs. Bathrooms are small old but clean. Service is good I realized that if your not local try can be a little cold to you. This visit was friendlier as expected. The cooked food though is excellent . The lady cooking and serving the food is very warm and friendly. YES I will be back.

Congested place was cramped inside so u can't really stay away from others. None of the employees wore a mask and very few of the customers wore them. Milk was expired. One bottle had expired in November of 2020! I do not recommend stopping here. Just not a respectable place to stop. Certainly no concern for public safety or much else.

Prices are high, but it's convenient... The owners and Renee are the only reason we keep returningIdk who the skinny dark haired lady is who works here, night usually.. But, she is absolutely rude. The next time she is, she's going to get ride right back at her.. she's been a problem there for a while. I would rather deal with Renee, who is very nice... This lady is a total witch and acts like she just doesn't want to be there.. I think she needs to stay at home..

Accidentally locked my keys in my car with my phone. Needed to use their phone to call roadside service. The woman that was working in the food area let me use her business phone. Was put on hold while I was connected to my roadside service. It took about 5 minutes. The woman got very rude with me saying it is her business phone and I was causing her to lose tips. Roadside service finally got on and I was able to tell them where I was stranded at. There was no one that ordered anything while I was inside using the phone. After I got in my car I pulled a $20 from my wallet and brought it to the very rude woman telling her 'This is for the tips you never lost in the first place!'. So rude people at this place and hope you don't get stranded like I did and need to use their phone. VERY RUDE!!

Their food is good, they almost always have gas. I gave 3 stars because their sign outside says "LOWEST PRICES IN TOWN" when in fact there's 2 gas stations near by with gas and diesel between 5-10 cents a gallon cheaper. Elsies is in fact the most expensive in town.

This is a really nice gas station, it has well mannered employees (mostly). They are well stocked on lots of things such as incense, energy shots, Kratom (liquid or capsule form), vape juices by Naked, as well as cannabis products, like CBD oils, etc. Their food is delicious, and their gas is good!

Been going here for years. The cigarettes are stale and the shelved products are out of date or near exp. Service is rushed and you have to stand directly in front of a piece of glass to get service then your forced to stretch to get you stuff and your face gets really close to glass. They need to back up the glass but they are only worried about their safety not yours. They have to touch everything to scan it and they dont change gloves or dont wear them. Just make sure to go in with your mask if you go here and be prepared to get close to the glass.

Only issue is that even tho there's spots for parking cars, there's cars taking up most of the truck parking. Several are usually double parked taking up spaces. It's a great location, two minutes from home, but I wish trucks could park in parking spots

Truck drivers beware. I have been coming to elsie's for many years now and know pretty much everyone. Almost 2 years ago I started driving a big rig and of course being so close to home parked at elsie's, I have been parking here for over a year and a half and have never had an issue with parking. On Easter weekend I get a call from my company telling me that ANOTHER DRIVER from a different company, called them and said I had notes on my truck to move or it would get towed. First of all they could not have simply called my company and told them, it is a simple Google search of the name and they could have gotten the number. So I decide to go talk to them and find out what is going on, so I talk to one if the guys on day shift and he tells me they didn't do it and he is not sure why they would. I had to wait till the next day to talk to the owner (on Easter Sunday). So I come in the next day and go talk to d and find out what's going on, he ask me if I get fuel there wich I say no the company doesn't have an account there which means I can't, that's when he tells me that's why that I have to get my fuel there or leave. Know who this is I thought he was joking but no he was serious I then asked how much to pay for parking, being so close to home i didn't want that to ruin me parking here, he tells me it's 20$ PER DAY and that I had to pay or leave now or he was going to have it towed. I told him that I would be out in the morning first thing, and again told me to move it now or it would be towed, but now it was because it is in the way of the trucks leaving, so I will no longer be doing any business here and I urge all truck drivers that park there to be careful because they might come after you next trying to get money.

Best truck stop in the Blanchard area. They have snacks,hot food,a small diner,and an small adjoining casino. They do accept EBT. They serve tobacco and liquor products as well. Elsies is open 24/7.

It's close to home, which is the only reason I go here. My sister and I used to work there. The "men" from India treat American women like dirt and they think women should be seen and not heard and should "OBEY WHATEVER THEY TELL THEM"!! I DON'T THINK SO!!

Love this store, staff & their Hot food. Especially Chicken Tenders. Open 24 hours is the number 1 reason I go ALL the time. Dee the manager is just awesome!

allowing cars to use the truck parking has taken away from a decent truckstop..spots are narrow and cars double park to save spots..need to remove the cars from truck parking area. This place has really gone down hill.

Drove trucks many many years and anytime I was ever up Blanchard way I would stop in .. to eat .. just get a drink .. use the bathroom .. whatever .. it's just a friendly stop on my rode thru life .

The women running the kitchen is a very sweet.and the burgers are pretty good. Restroom are dirty all the time

I was banned from the store for no reason I walked in one night and purchased gas and a pack of cigarettes the following night I went in to purchase a beer and a bag of chips and was told I was banned had the cops called on me and told the owner no longer wanted me in the store I went back on another night while a different person was working and got told I wasn t banned and that the other employee was lying the owner was out of town and she had no clue on what he was talking about now I have to pick and choose on when I can go in and when I can t

This place is filthy, trash everywhere. There is no truck parking because of all the passenger vehicles, in truck parking, that save their parking spots. I don't recommend this place.

Was starting to clean up and be nice but as usual Elkins and sand box sand trucks have come in and messed it up leaving sand everywhere.
