Don't bring your vehicle here. From day one my transmission leaks fluid doesn't shift properly and vibrates my entire truck. The customer service is nonexistent. They have yet to fix the issue. I'd never being another vehicle to this shop

Drove 2 hours to get here. Walk in. Few guys talking behind the counter. Wait patiently for a few minutes, nobody acknowledges me or just says hi or one second. Nothing. 5 minutes goes by. Then I turn to leave and they finally say. hi. Then laugh. I have never seen Southern hospitality like that for a business and I can't believe, something so simple as a HI, ONE SECOND AS I FINISH UP, was just too much for this place. Oh wellGood thing there is a place only 2 minutes away, extremely friendly and ready to help.

My transmission went out after evacuating for Hurricane Ida. Looked at Lafayette Transmission services on Google and saw nothing but good reviews. So I called them. Long story short my expedition was fixed, at a reasonable price! Good honest people at Lafayette Transmission services! Thanks Richie, Mr. Richard, and all the guys. You guys are truly a GOD send!

They were very professional, reasonably priced. Called me about my transmission, and gave me updates on what needed to be done. And was very accurate since day one about when it would be finished, then called me back to tell me it was done on that day. Thanks Mr. Richard, Richie, and rest of the staff. Good people to deal with

I went here thinking I had a transmission problem, although that was that the problem, they took their time to do a temporary fix to stop the noise coming from my car until I could get it to a muffler shop no charge. The guys here we re very polite and they went out of their way and took their time helping me as much as they could. They even took it for test drive to make sure the noise was gone before I left. Very fast and very professional.

Highly recommend everyone to bring yalls vehicles to these guys!! They know what they are doing and they do it very well! You can t beat the price or the time it takes them to get it done. Dropped my truck off on a Friday afternoon for a transmission rebuild and got it back the next Tuesday better than ever.

On May 6- 2019 I called Lafayette Transmission for a issue I been dealing with concern my 2000 GMC SIERRA extended cab 4.8( engine) 4L60 Transmission.. My issue was I have a 4 gear transmission, but felt like only 2 were working when driving. They say they have to look at it to be sure. Long story short Lafayette Transmission gave me an honest evaluation and save me a load of money. I highly recommend this company for thier honesty and integrity of thier namesake and craftmanship..

Very honest folks...you dont see that much anymore. Fair pricing and go above and beyond to get the job done as quickly as they can. I will never us anyone else. Do yourself a favor. When you have transmission problems, drop it to the pros, and rest easy. GOD BLESS YA'LL
