It took me two weeks and three shops to get my truck fixed. I ended up at Earls Transmission which was a great experience. Earl and Nicole were so kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I DO NOT recommend this business at all. I was told that they take CarShield so I decided to go through this business. I bought my car in for a diagnostic which was supposed to be $100 and told them I was going through CarShield. It took about 5 days for the diagnostic and if I didn t call them I don t believe they would have called me no time soon. I called them and was told by Nicole that she was going to call them after we were done with the call even though my car has already been there 5 days so the call should have been placed to them already. I received a call from Nicole the same day stating that she started the claim for my car but that she was going to charge me about $250 just for calling CarShield to start the claim and to send over an estimate of the work to be done. I WAS NEVER TOLD THAT THERE WOULD BE EXTRA CHARGES JUST FOR CALLING THEM WHEN I DROPPED MY CAR OFF. I was told that I would only have to pay $100 for the diagnostic. I never heard of a business charging you to call an insurance/warranty company to start a claim, especially when I could have did that myself. That day I told her that I wasn t going through with it because that sounding ridiculous and I would just pay for my diagnostic to get my car out of their shop. She still told me I had to pay $150 to get my car back because she called and started the claim, but she would not send the information to CarShield without more money. Nicole denied me a diagnostic report and a estimate and told me that it would be an additional charge to get an invoice of the information. Today she told me that she sent everything to CarShield but when I called CarShield they told me that there was nothing sent to them and the repair shop that initiated the claim was a different shop called Randy s Auto Repair which was weird. My car has been picked up, but I have been calling her to clarify these things and they refuse to answer the phone now that I have my car back. This business is all about getting money out of you when claiming they are trying to save you money. You will be told one thing and then a different thing. Do not recommend at all.

All around bad experience lied to multiple times ,damaged my electrical component under my hood you looking for a parts changer might work out for you. if I'm not mistaken he does not build Transmissions all he does is replaces of them with reman transmission parts changer his wife runs the front counter she's unprofessionalism at its finest.Service: Transmission

Had my truck there for a month for it to be worked on they ended up just making it worse then when it went it . scrapes all along the side like someone side swept it the lights for my plates got swapped out and not telling what else. They also ran something into the rear end of the truck dent that whole back side in

I had my F150 repaired in Apr '19. They diagnosed my problem, ordered parts and repaired my transmission the same day. Really nice folks, very fair price and the service was outstanding. I'll be back for service and repairs as needed. Thanks Guys, and good luck in Dallas this weekend!

Spoke with Earl after the hurricane and explained what I have and what I want done, he quoted me a price for his labor, which we both agreed on and called it Good, I explained that it would be a few weeks + as I was cleaning up debris also, fast forward I drive 2.5 hrs to his shop to hear him say that I missed the window of opportunity , I said I was willing to wait, if he had people in front of me, I also reiterated I wanted All internal bushings replaced, he says only 2 of the bushings wear,, considering the milage on the transmission and during our initial conversation, which I made him aware that I had a master bushing kit and wanted them All replaced, this immediately triggered a Red flag the transmission has to be fully dissemble to clean it before building it, & to hear a transmission shop become displeased with the customer for wanting all bushings replaced,, you come to your own decisions, he did initially agree to build it with components that I supplied, which Are Premium internal components, which he made a comment,,. " I was going to Beat on that thing " quite the contrary,I just wanted to bulletproof the known weak points, so in closing take away from the disappointment I experienced with what you will.

He never returned my call , he did a great job years ago putting a new transmission in my vehicle, but never returned my call to replace my transmission control module on my 2007 Dodge caravan !!! JUNE 26, 2022 !!!
