My son and I came to Lag's Auto Sales from out of state in search of a car I saw on their website and I will say right off,it was well worth the drive. From the time I called the business number early that morning, the dealer told me he would hold the car for us to look at and gave me a reasonable amount of time to arrive, so I felt comfortable the car would be there evenas we were making the three hour drive.When I got there, the car was just as pictured, lovely, clean and in great condition. There was no rushed feeling in dealing with them, the dealer and his son were nice, took time and were very knowledgeable in answering my questions concerning the vehicle. My son and I felt their sincerity and interest in helping with my vehicle needs. They were also very good in allowing me time to test drive the car to my satisfaction and most importantly, the car drove wonderfully.Since I was an out-of-state buyer, I had to wait awhile to receive certain papers for my tag and taxes, etc., but even so-it was a very short while, their timing was wonderfully efficient. I received my papers and car title even quicker than I've received car titles for vehicles that I've bought in-state!The prices were right, the car quality, and I will be highly reccomending Lag's Auto Sales. They are a true unicorn among dealerships, indeed; great to do business with. They will be first on my and my family's list should we need more vehicles! I am thoroughly enjoying/satisfied with my Hyundai Genesis purchase and I also receive many compliments on my vehicle from Lag's. It drives wonderfully. I went to lags and dealt with Steve. He was very helpful and made buying my new van very easy and painless. Also, when my battery died not long after my purchase, Steve was quick to respond and help me solve my problem. I will definitely deal with Lag's Auto Sales again and will recommend my friends do as well!

I am very cautious when buying used cars. In this day in age its so easy to cover underlying issues with a vehicle and its hard to find honest people anymore. But I would be willing to buy a vehicle from the Lag's without any worry. Steven and his family are very knowledgable concerning cars. They do not buy a vehicle that they themselves would not want to keep. Steven is honest and is a man of his word. I bought a Honda Pilot from them that was in immaculate condition and ran like a top. I had no issues with the vehicle and I got a great deal. I would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to check with Lag's first. Why?1- Honesty- what you see and are told is what you get.2- Competitive pricing- the price isn't just right, its a good deal. I found Pilot's for similar prices, but they were not nearly as well kept as the one I bought. The ones that where in as good of condition where more expensive.3- Character- The Lag's know there is more to being a business owner than making money, they have integrity. When dealing with the Lag family I didn't feel like they were trying to make a sale, but rather making sure I had a good buy for what I was in the market for. They not only talked value with me, but practicality for what I had going on in my life right now.

Drove down to Lag's from Baton Rouge to sell my car because of their great reviews. They lived up to the hype. Friendly, honest, transparent, an all around easy and stress-free transaction. I will definitely recommend them to family and friends and plan on doing business with them again in the future.

I purchased a car from them 3 years ago. I was not told up front about the noise the car made in reverse. The owner knew there was an issue and agreed to pay for repairs. When I returned with the receipt he only paid one hundred dollars. Lesson 101 always get a vehicle checked out by your mechanic before purchasing.

Big scam ! Each car I received had huge mechanical issues. One of the two cars I had went to the shop with 17 different codes . Engine and transmission issues. Save your money go somewhere else. I lost thousands of dollars here.
