This roadside shack has THE BEST gar balls I can find! Their cracklings are dry, but if that's the kind you like, these may be for you! (I prefer the softer, meaty kind). The lady at the counter was sweet and helpful. The wait time wasn't terrible and the price was about par for the area. Definitely worth the stop, they have a ton to offer.

We stopped here on our road trip for their pork cracklin and boudin balls! They did not disappoint We got the alligator gar boudin balls, regular boudin balls, and pork cracklin. I loved the regular boudin balls. They had just the right amount of spice. The alligator balls reminded my dad of how his mother used to make them when he was growing up, so he was a fan. The pork cracklins were really tasty, but some pieces were a bit harder than I'd like. I'd still get them again, though LOVED this little restaurant. A must stop on the way out of state.

Really enjoyed Andre's. We tried the chicken cracklins and fried boudin balls. The chicken cracklins had a good ratio of meat to skin. These were some good gratons. The boudin balls are my wife's favorite to date. We will be back for sure and can't stop eating the cracklins.

They have these seafood balls that are off the chain! The flavor is great and if you're looking for some boiled seafood this is the place to go nice size shrimp with the right bite in seasonings ! Can't wait to go back

People who don't like to cook shouldn't get jobs that serve food...the attendant had aProblem with having to cook the food that we ordered. She wanted you to select food that was dried out from sitting under a heat lamp for hours.Parking: The parking is better than the food and the service. The food is dry and taste horrible. The service is very poor because the attendant is lazy and has a very ugly attitude.

I love this place! Everytime I go to Baton Rouge or New Orleans I stop by and pick up some cracklings, fried turkey wings and crawfish! It's a walk up. There's a picnic table you can sit on and it's shaded. The people are nice.Parking: It's a walk up so there's plenty of parking

The chicken cracklings are fabulous, as well as the mini meatpies. I was slightly disappointed by the cracklins which are usually great, but today they were very greasy.
