Walmart Auto Care Center is reasonable on oil change and I think they do a wonderful job on taking care of you car.

Came in today (8/9/23) to get a tire after a blowout. The tire I requested was 54 dollars (Douglas Tire), and the tire they put on was 95 dollars (Goodyear). If you re gonna scam the customer, at least don t let them pick which tire they want.

Bought 2 tires from this place a few months ago. They didn't install them cause the auto part was closed at the time due to their pandemic issues.Today I rotated my tires and saw that they sold me 2 different sizes. I blame myself for not double checking but ultimately they screwed up. I called today and was on hold for 20 mins. and didn't talk to a soul to see how we can remedy this situation. Lame AF place.

I went here on 3/17/18 because another place screwed up my balance after they put a patch on a tire.I spoke to Jason the service manager around 6 pm and asked if they could balance my tire. He stated that he could, that I needed to make it in before 6:30PM. These guys are a life saver!I went in, they took care of the issue, and were fast despite me coming in last minute before they closed. I will gladly come back for future tire needs.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ELSEWHERE ! Simple Oil Change -Arrived 1:10 pm 2 customers before me needing battery changes The cost should ve been $ 39.95 due to my vehicle needing 6.5 quarts synthetic it cost me an additional 35.00 for oil & pit cost. After waiting 3-1/2 more hours making it 4:40 pm vehicle finally ready, but was it really ready ? .... that would be a No ! Oil spot leakage on my clean garage floor and oily finger prints all over side and front panel of what was my clean truck. Sad because I thought Ponchatoula workers had more pride.

I live in Ponchatoula, so I bought a set of Michelin Defenders for my Ram 1500 at the tire center. One of the main reasons I purchased the tires from Walmart was that they give free rotation and balancing for the life of the tires. Seeing that I live so close that was a real plus for me. I took my truck in on a Friday around 3:30pm to have the tires rotated and asked them to check the balance of each tire because at higher speeds I had been detecting a small vibration. They told me they couldn't help me because they were missing a part to balance the tires, and they were afraid they would break my rim. Well obviously they had the part when they sold me the tires and charged me 36 bucks for the balancing. The little girl behind the counter had a horrible attitude when I questioned her about this and didn't even want to explain anything to me. Then one of the service guys came out and told me that my rims were plastic and they didn't want to break them. My 2013 Ram 1500 has steel rims. I finally asked for a manager and I spoke to Stanley about the issue. He assured me he would order the part and take care of it, but for now they could not help me. He referred me to another store for service. Just really disappointed with the whole ordeal. I would be willing to bet if I had come in to purchase a new set of tires the balancing would have been no problem. Won't be buying any more tires from WalMart.

If I could give this place no starts I would. Mechanics changing tire have no knowledge of how to change a tire correctly staff curses at customers after messing up a tire change claiming to be correct just find a mom and pop tire shop very unprofessional bunch at Walmart

I wish I could rate this a 0 star, but this is the lowest possible. The absolute worst experience I have ever had at any auto repair place. We had a nail in the tire that needed to be repaired. We were there nearly 3 hours and all they ended up doing was putting air in the tire. Took it down the road to a tire place and had the nail found and the tire repaired in 20 minutes. INCOMPETENT!

This is one of the better Walmarts to get automotive service at. I ve had flat tires repaired here, headlights restored, purchased several sets of tires here and a couple of car batteries. I keep coming back because of the great service. Today they fixed a TPMS issue for me by replacing sensors. Their sensors including installation were cheaper than what it would have cost me just to buy the parts on Rock Auto. I am a very happy customer and of course I will be back.

So, it's 7:30 and I'm still waiting for the auto center to open that was supposed to open at 7:00. I can see people inside but they don't seem to care that I've been sitting here for 30 minutes. Never received this bad of service at the Hammond Walmart. Will not ever return and will contact corporate about this blatant lack of concern for their customers.UPDATE: after a 45 minute wait (and I was the only customer) someone FINALLY comes out but doesn't know how to work the handheld device so asks me to come inside. I go inside and the cashier doesn't know how to pull me up in the system after 10+ years of getting oil changes, tires and lifetime balance and rotation . Great job managing the auto center in Ponchatoula.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at an auto place. They did not write down my appointment when I arrived they had no cars to work on so they told me 45 minutes. An hour later they finally bring my car in to fix it and the managers and employees did not even care their customer service is horrendous I will never go back there. Update took my tire off to find out the put the lug nut on crooked and broke the bolt right and half

OMGoodness!!!! They opened almost 20 minutes late. Literally had to call electronics to get someone to open up. Then the change took FORever!!!!!!!!!! Only went there bc they opened earlier than everyone else. I ended up being an hour late for work. Then the manager is on the phone talking about his own oil problems instead of helping his worker who is obviously struggling. I will definitely be taking my car to my regular place to make sure everything was done correctly. No professionalism. Soon amazon is going to take their auto customers.

I was out of town and my wife needed a tire, I called and they made it easy by ordering the tire and calling me when it arrived. Was quoted a price and got exactly that, very happy with my experience.

Getting a battery that I had warranty on. Had to go to multiple store to find the max battery with 3yrs warranty. This was my only problem with Walmart. Thought that they should keep a supply of the 3yr warranty battery in more of the supercenters stores.

Literally the worst service ever. It s like the people that work there doesn t care about anything! They are so slow about everything and never puts the customers first! They were willing to let me drive home on a flat tire because I came in at 6:31 pm and they close at 7 pm. They said they stop taking customers at 6:30 pm. Horrible!!!! They need a new staff or they will be losing customers left to right.

I brought my 2008 Honda Civic in for a oil change and after like 2 hours they said sorry your oil change has been rejected due to we can't get your oil filter off...smh what a joke!
