We had an awesome experience at Sterling Ford. Ben Bellard was our salesman and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know. We went to the dealership just to look and walked away with a new car for our daughter and we actually received two keys with this car. Thanks again Ben Bellard!!

This dealership service department is horrible to deal with customer service wise. I physically went to them in Feb of 2023 trying to get a rear camera recall fixed. Stood around with a 1 year old and new born for a good 10 min before someone said anything to me( there was no one else in there being served, they were just sitting at their desks) They took my name and number and said they would call because they were busy. MONTHS went by and no contact from them. I called them in OCT when I got the notice again for the recall. The first appointment they made with me, they canceled the morning of. Then it got rescheduled for NOV 13. Tech came out did an inspection and told me that the wiring was fine, But they were still replacing a certain part and he needed to order parts and they would call me to schedule that. Over a month went by with no contact. I went back to their location to be told that " the tech said the wiring was fine so we aren't replacing anything, but let us talk to him." The lady calls me this morning not saying ANYTHING about the camera , but talking about some airbag extended warranty. I told her the recall had nothing to do with that, it was the camera, which she very shortly then says " There's no parts for that ordered" And hangs up.I have already called my RELIABLE dealer I had do other warranty work, even tho they are States away, to have them look into this and recommend a better dealership in this state to have do work since I will never go back to these guys again.

The process for buying a vehicle at Sterling was painless and so easy. LJ was my salesman and he is so nice and polite. He does everything for you and he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I purchased. He took his time to explain everything I needed to know about my car. Scott the financial person had all the necessary paper work ready for me to sign and was knowledgeable about what the warranties meant and explained them so I could. I would buy another vehicle from Sterling in the future.

My sales rep, Ben Ballard was awesome. He sent me info on vehicles in my budget, and close above my budget for weeks. Eventually settling on an ST. Explorer. Price was right and car was mint. One owner, low miles. Agreed on a price and that was that. We are very happy with our purchase. Ben was awesome, the finance manager, on the pre owned side, however, still tried burning me for $1,600.plus, even though I was not financing. I guess that s just their job. I was told he made a mistake on the tax rate. OK. Try again. I don t want his antics to take away from all the hard work by the rest of the team, overall my experience was great. This is just hard to swallow, because it makes you wonder what they can do to you when you do finance your new vehicle. Big shout out to Ben Ballard and the people that helped make it happen in a timely fashion! We love our Ford Explorer ST 401A

Just love doing business with Mr Robert Cook and Srerling Ford and all the sales people or great and work with you in the best way they can. I personally deal with Madelyn on the GMC side she is the best. I have talked to others as well and like i said they will all help you in anyway.

Poor service and lack of concern for customer's vehicles. I had an appointment and waited 5 weeks to be serviced, and it was canceled by Christine Skarina 3 days before scheduled pickup. They offered to get me back on the list with a promise to look at it 2 months later now and got kicked to the back of the list. Avoid all Sterling dealerships if you can. Their "service" is sub-par.EDIT: I reached out to the below contact as requested and never received a response. The owner giving these generic replies to reviews is just for show. They never respond to you or try to fix their shortcomings.

Absolutely unorganized, what was supposed to be 2 hours max job turned into a nearly 4 hour waiting period. Dealing with front desk; I didn't know all they do is giggle, eat and play on their phones. A simple brake pad replacement turned into that in addition to rotor replacement all cause a mechanic didn't perform a simple check. I had the service manager knock the $ down but still costing me over 500 is outrageous; never had I tried too hard to avoid screaming at the top of my lungs at the incompetence I had to deal with.

I would never recommend purchasing a vehicle or using the service dept at Sterling Ford in Opelousas, La. I purchased a Ford Expedition in November 2020. In December 2024, we were told by the service department that our transmission needed to be replaced. Thankfully we had purchased the extended warranty which HELPED pay for a new transmission. When we went to pick up our vehicle, my husband told the service dept that something did not sound right. They insisted everything was fine and the noise was just the A/C. The next day, my fan started turning on high every 25 seconds with the A/c on and off. My husband called the service dept and explained that we were having issues and something seemed wrong. Again, they insisted that it was just the A/C. If it wasn t over heating or showing a problem on the dash that nothing was wrong. On Saturday, less than 72 hours of having it back, my transmission overheated and went out while driving on the interstate in DenhamSprings. We called the service dept and asked for a tow truck to come get us. We were told it wouldn t be possible until Monday and to leave our vehicle where it was until then. I emailed the dealership but have yet to receive a phone call from either owner. I am utterly disgusted at the lack of professionalism and sympathy that we have received from the service dept manager. There should be proper protocols in place to prevent issues like this from happening!

I went to Sterling really worried about some credit issues I had but I wanted a good car n I explained to Ben my dealer what I wanted n after looking at the 2nd car he had found the perfect car for me. He was so nice and helpful. I don t remember the mans name that I signed my paperwork with but he was very nice too. This is my second purchase with Sterling n I would do it again.
