Pretty good store with pretty much everything you expected to have however don't expect to call and get any directions or anything because they never pick up the phone.Edit: I take back my previous review, this place does not have everything you're looking for. In fact it has barely anything for a place that is supposed to cater to people who live their lives on the road.

Stopped in on 12-12-23 at around 9:30pm to grab a cup of coffee and a couple slices of pizza. Ran my debit card and it was short $2.34. I told the cashier I just needed to run out to my truck and get my phone so I could transfer some money from my savings account. A guy that also worked here said "I got you" and pulled the money out of his pocket. I didn't catch his name but he was probably in his 20s and wearing a green high visibility vest so I figure he either worked in the tire shop are was maintenance. Regardless he is a heck of a good guy. These truck stops need more people like him. This Love's will definitely be one of my stops from now on.

The lady at the register seemed annoyed that I didn't have cash to pay for the 4 or 5 powerball tickets that I asked for. I don't think they realize that Louisiana doesn't restrict the use of any card payment, just credit cards. Debit cards are allowed according to the state and as a result they are in fact accepted at most places that sell Louisiana Lottery tickets. So assuming anyone buying lottery tickets is paying with cash is no longer a reasonable assumption.

Finally open! Excited to have our new Opelousas LOVE'S! Went to Hardee's and picked up lunch. Friendly, efficient service and the food was great. Looking forward to having a new quick breakfast option (until 10:30 AM). Looking forward to having Godfather's Pizza as well. Gas is usually the lowest price in the area, so it's great to have this near where we live. Thanks, LOVE'S, for giving us a beautiful new store!

Love s opened today and we had Hardee s for lunch and Godfather s for dinner. lolEverything was great and the service was excellent. Danielle, the training manager, made sure we were taken care of and served us our pizza personally. Definitely great service.Oh and the gas is the cheapest in town if you have the Love s rewards. The normal price was low but you also get 10 cents off per gallon. Can t beat that.This will be our regular stop for gas and food from here on out.
