I'm not one to write negative reviews so I'll let this picture speak for itself. I just left the car wash and paid $28 plus tip and this is what my cup holders look like. When I went to the car to take off I thought it hadn't be cleaned yet but they assured me it was done. The outside looks decent but they barely touched the inside besides a light vacuuming.

They broke my side mirror and zip tied it back on! They pushed my mirrors in manually (I have a BMW, so we have a button for it!) Nobody addressed this and my seats are STILL dirty! All they did was wash it and vacuum it. Will NEVER return or recommend. Waste of money.

The best car wash in town. Easy on the car, great tire shine and ceramic wax looks shiny. Only thing with the tire shine, it works great on my Nissan Rogue but on my boyfriends Toyota Tundra it doesn t cover the whole tire, it s good but not great for his size tire.*Special tip: Go on Mondays to receive a free wash to use within 14 days.

I was in town working and needed an oil change on my vehicle. I was greeted by a very polite and professional oil tech. He was able to answer every question without hesitation. The waiting lobby was awesome, clean and even had snacks to make you feel comfortable. With an oil change I also received a free car wash which I was not expecting. Everyone from the cashier to the technicians working on my vehicle was extremely polite and mannered. I ll definitely be back, thank you Uptown!!Service: Auto interior vacuuming

Purchased the uptowner cleaning package as usual. Have been coming here for years. Was asked if I wanted the bug remover treatment for 3 dollars. I asked if it would damage my clear coat. I was assured that it would not. When I received the car back the front bumper had gouges, the grill had paint removed, and the entire bumper is now dull which it was not before. Never go here. Final note: They actually tried to convince us that the bumper had always been dull and that they did no harm to the vehicle. During this time the manager behaved in an aggressive fashion towards my son.

Paid $98 for quick wash and interior vacuum and wipe down plus extra for mat cleaning. Vacuuming was done very poorly and Matt's were not cleaned at all So sorry I ripped them 20%+. Wish I could post pictures.Service: Auto interior vacuumingService: Auto interior vacuuming

My car came in a total wreck- I have two kids under the age of 5, so you can imagine. They did a GREAT job- really scrubbed out melted crayons and got melted candy out of the carpets. Great place to get your car washer - I only wish they'd upgrade their free public wifi - a cheap modern modem would be all they'd need to have a usable signal. My wife had our SUV detailed with this company. They kept the vehicle overnight and never called us when they had completed the work the next day (which seemed suspicious). When we called to pick up the car, the entire hood and roof were scratched severely; they told us it was probably from HAIL damage overnight?! It hadn't even rained it that part of uptown the night before. They offered no help, and we're incredibly rude. Always had a great experience. They know what kind of wash I like and they take care of my car really well. Only once I was not satisfied with how my trunk was vacuumed, I told them and they immediately redid it. If you are looking for a great car-wash uptown, look no further!

It seems like they did a 10 minute job during the whole process. Does it really only take 10 minutes to wash a car??? I can get a fully loaded car wash, cleaned in and out and tires for $20. It's not worth it. Front windshield still have stains on it, the bottom area still has dirt on it. I guess they were upset became I came at 5:30. They weren't courteous at all no hospitality at all. No vacuuming was performed. They put my car way at the end of the street and left it there. No one bothered saying Ma'am your car is ready. I had to figure things out on my own. I WILL NOT return. I did better buying my own car washing products.

I loved this place!! Very quick and easy. Went there for an oil change and I had the guy check out other issues with my car too and he fixed everything up for a decent price. The waiting area is great - very spacious, nice chairs and tables, and cute pets - 3 beautiful birds, fish, and a sweet dog. :)

Signed up for the Uptowner wash: top-of-the-line, then they start in with the up-selling, (much of it supposedly a part of their best wash). I bit on cleaning the vinyl and having the independent contractor on-site clear up my milky headlights. When it was all done, the glass had not been cleaned, dirty inside and streaked outside. The tires were not dressed, nor was the vinyl for which I paid twice. There were soap streaks on the exterior which I was told was damaged paint...but I rubbed them out at home.Stay away from this place. There are other car washes whose mission is to deliver pride-worthy Automotive sparkle ; not rub cars with soiled rags.

Well, I believe in giving everyone a chance to redeem themselves, and unfortunately I am still not happy. I am here for work for a few months and started bringing my car here because it is close to work and very convenient. My first time was June 10th and I come weekly.Every single week I have to show them something they missed (spots on my car, forgot to armor all the tires, didn't clean my mirrors, didn't put the air freshener in the car, left my car mats dirtier than they were before I came, sprayed armor all on the tires (when they remember) and left it there looking like a dripping mess without wiping it off, didn't clean my rims, etc.) and although they are apologetic and get on it right away, I should not have to have a conversation with them about what they missed EVERY WEEK...I am not familiar with New Orleans and I work extremely long hours so I have to go where I can when I have free time. I will probably continue to come here until I leave in September ONLY because it is convenient for me, but if I happen to pass another place where I can get better service and I have the time, I would not return to Uptown Car Wash. It's really a shame.

Have been going here awhile. It s very convenient for me. The past 3 or 4 times have just been not worth it. I always have to go back and rewipe the inside of my car and clean my tires and rims. Everyone is nice but I give the washing job two stars. The guys at the end look busy but they ain't.

This place is fantastic. Friendly staff and quality car washes. They do a pretty good job of cleaning the inside of your car, and a great job making sure the outside is clean and dry when you are done. The monthly wash package is a pretty great deal.

I was really on the fence about going here after reading all of the negative comments, but it's really close to work and my car needed attention in a bad way. They were awesome! The car is clean - inside & out. Everything looks great and they had me out of there within the 30 minutes that I had for lunch. The attendants were polite & the waiting area was clean. Can't beat the prices.

I have been using this service for years now, and normally the staff is very quick to remedy any issue. Unfortunately they failed to remedy a massive scarf in my paint. One of the finishing technicians tried to polish the scuff out, but was unsuccessful. Another technician walked up and explain to me that their equipment could not have scuffed my paint. This is the second time I ve had an issue with the handling of my vehicle. However, this is the first time I have had a finishing technician dismiss me.

Awful! I spent 80 bucks on a detail wash. When I got there the line was short. I was told the detail would take about an hour. There was a quick rain, the manager on duty released the entire crew for lunch. I waited . When they got back from break they slowly started washing cars again. I told the front desk I was taking a lunch and this had already extended the 1 hour by a good bit. Mine sat for over three hours under the detail tent, about every 30 minutes I was checking with the desk. They would say , we have our guys on it . Part of the detail was a seat shampoo. They never did it. When I pointed that out to the manager they agreed, in the meantime one of the car washers took offense to his lack of abilities and was yelling at me saying he did the work. I said well I m looking at it and clearly not.. The manager on duty said nothing to the employee, he walked away then came back and gave me a free wash.. DONT GO

If your car is 'your baby' then THIS should be your official baby 'shower' from a simple touch up from being busy, to floor show quality inside, outside.. budget friendly and quality clean. Seriously, great crew, great wash. And.. chips, cracks, windsheild problems? Onsite AMAZING repair work, plus the brightest headlight cleaning.. Its like a 'makeover spa' for your vehicle. And of course, oil change and a few other convenient treats for under the hood as well. Every car gets treated like its a classic showroom beauty. I've had the pleasure of watching the Uptown Car wash crew putting the shine on, and wouldn't want to take our car anywhere else!

UHMAZING!!! Jessica the salesperson was so sweet and great to talk too. She got me what needed done for what I could spend. The detailers were awesome & professional, my car was done on time. My car was absolutely filthy & they made it look & smell brand new. Got all the spots out of the seats & it smells amazing and looks immaculate!! If I d had more cash on me I would ve tipped double after seeing the work they did!

Oil change & basic car wash/hoover in under 20 minutes. Staff were helpful and attentive. Around $80-90. You can also have your car fully detailed and there are options for self cleaning. Best part - it is open on Sundays!

I arrived at 3:40 today and the business closed at 4pm. I asked if there was time to get an oil change and car wash to which I was told of course . I paid extra to upgrade to a better wash and disappointed is an understatement. Management and the detailers were lazy, unprofessional and quite honestly insulting. It took a total of 15 minutes for an oil change and car wash (supposedly inside and outside wash). I was shocked that all of these services would take such little time, but when I saw the interior (and exterior) of my vehicle, It is very clear why! I began cleaning the inside of my vehicle BY MYSELF after asking Brian (supposed manager) why the interior of my car wasn t clean. He informed me that it was because of the time of day I came . I literally have never dealt with such horrible customer service. Do yourself and your vehicle a favor, save your money and DON T GO HERE!!!!

Just had my car detailed at Uptown Car Wash. AMAZING! Every inch is sparkling clean. He even cleaned the air conditioner vents! It looked so good, I wasn't sure it was my car. Thanks!

Not only did they have to run it through twice, they never even washed my windows. I paid extra for the dirt and floor cleaning so there shouldn't be any excuse for the poor job cleaning it. For $45, I could get a couple of kids to not only clean it, but wax it as well. I'll never go back there. On a positive note, they did run it through the second time without hassle. But it didn't help...

Been a few times and always left underwhelmed. They offer such a low oil-change price cause they'll add $10 for a skidpan removal. Recently though I left with overfilled oil that quickly turned into a check engine light and smoke coming from my car. I returned the next day and asked for them to read the code for the check engine light and drain the oil and then provide a record of what was done and why I came in (in case I had to submit an insurance claim). When I got my car back they told me that they didn't read the code (only cancelled it), drained the oil and failed to provide a work record. After sometime arguing I was finally provided a record and told that actually, they hadn't cancelled the code, it just went off when the oil overfill was fixed. I took them on their word but as soon as I got on the highway the smoke returned followed shortly after by the check engine light, so i believe they lied about not cancelling the code. Took it to firestone and they told me the sparkplugs were misfiring and had been gunked up and had it fixed within the day. Don't get distracted by the apparent low prices. You pay for what you get.
