IF IT'S NOT A TOYOTA VEHICLE, DON'T BUY FROM HERE. THEY DON'T SPECIALIZE IN OTHER MAKES AND MODELS.Purchased my 2020 vehicle in July '22. Two months later, got the vehicle serviced because I had steering and suspension issues. Got "everything" that was supposed to get done under manufactured warranty. Oct '23 I noticed I needed a wheel alignment. Got that done at the place where I usually go for oil changes. Drove away and noticed my wheel being offset again. I went back to the place for them to fix it. All the specs were in green on the alignment. The tires were initially rotated when I got the oil change. The service manager told me, the reason why my car is veering to the right and not driving straight is because I have the wrong size tires. They are too big, they all need to be replaced from where you got the vehicle from. Went to Toyota to explain what was told to me. Nobody really gave me or offered a solution not even the Used Car Manager until the 4th time I showed up. I was offered a $100 discount off on the tires because it had been over a year since I bought the vehicle. I get that, my thing is The vehicle was suppose to get inspected when it was received and was supposed to get inspected AGAIN when I got it serviced under warranty. I'm not tryna get 4 free tires, I'll pay half, 50% because I take blame for not checking myself while the dealership or whoever chuck up the other half because somebody or bodies didnt do their job. It's not a Toyota vehicle but if you all gonna recieve other makes and model vehicles, y'all need to do yall's Due Diligence. I work at a dealership myself so I know what goes on in production before a car is sold. I'm not the woman who don't know anything about cars and just wanna drive. I went to school in the automotive industry and graduated. Like I said, I take partial blame, NOT ALL!! The place where I get my oil change at the tires are way cheaper and there's a sale buy 3 and get 1 free. Much cheaper than $1200.

My favorite dealership! They hook me up with the EXACT vehicle I want every time. I ve purchased two cars from this location and will continue to bring my business here! I made an appointment yet I waited two hours before they even took my car back. It wasn t even busy as the staff were just running around joking with each other. Then they quoted me for coolant services saying the coolant was expensive but in reality it s the labor that is expensive. Then they hit me with a shop fee and explained it was for rags and such. It s not my responsibility to provide your shop with rags. Terrible service.

Don t shop here they lie and steal your money. They hold your car hostage. ESPECIALLY Payton is a working WHO DOESNT WORK. This terrible man put the wrong mileage on my mom car and title now he is being lazy where he doesn t want to get it fixed. My mom has called him and he lies all the time he refuses to do his job. No one at this location is an honest good worker they are all terrible especially especially Mr. Payton. Run far away from these people they won t get your car straight they take your money.

Poor communication and little sense of urgency. Came in for a 5k mile service and waited 3.5hrs. Nobody seemed to be able to help and blamed the computers and other team mates.

Started going to this location because in my opinion their service team is much better than the one closet to me. Experiences I ve had with this service department so far have shown their efficiency, transparency, and people skills.It s a shame how one bad experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I just spoke to someone in the parts department and he had a bad attitude from the start of the call. Very little patience and gave off that I was bothering him the entire time. Very condescending and off-putting. Also, to be expected, the prices are extremely inflated for parts through the dealership. You can definitely get a more reasonable deal elsewhere.

It was a Sunday afternoon and of course the dealership was closed. I just looked at the cars that was parked on lot. I compared this dealership prices with other Toyota dealers, their prices were different and higher in cost, then the other Toyota dealers were. Don't know why, but living in Orleans Parish, in New Orleans, taxes and Prices are much higher than any other Parish in Louisiana.

I am not one to do reviews but I have to leave one here. I would advise anyone to not shop at this dealership specially for a used car. I purchased a used car from Toyota of new Orleans and I have regretted it since. I was pushed into buying the extended warranty from the finance guy I decided after he told me it was bumper to bumper and the car being 6 years old. It was not long after purchase I had to bring it to the shop for a repair but it was covered under warranty but Toyota of new Orleans gave me a bad part did not fix it correctly so I am back again to get it replaced under warranty because Toyota of new Orleans did the original repair. I had check engine light come on so I had them check car while I was there not covered under bumper to bumper warranty I bought. I had to take my car to another shop because Toyota new Orleans quoted me 1000 dollars more than what this simple repair should of been. They waisted a week and offered to help me by simply trying to upsale me a newer car I didn't want and couldn't afford. It was a scam I will never be beyond I will tell all my friends and family not to shop here. I was given the run around for a week it was all salesman tactics when I could of taken my car to a real shop to be repaired. Do not buy here

Toyota of New Orleans sales team is very unprofessional. And honestly they are liars. They don't follow up with there word. I suggest that people do not buy from here there sale team and manger there are shiesty. I had my unpleasant untruthful experience with Toyota team member Nina and LECHELLE WILLIAMS are not to be trusted. As a average Joe and a blue collar worker who works hard for my funds I strongly suggest others like me do not shop here.

I purchased a car there. After 7 weeks I didn t get my license plate. I called my sales person Terry to check status because the plate was a couple of days of expiring. They overnighted and wanted me to track it, after I told him no they need to track it HE HUNG UP on me. He refused to answer my calls and the license plate lady Belinda went home and wouldn t give me the tracking number. So basically after they got my sell I no longer mattered to them. I had to go to the DMV and report the plate as stolen. They are a bunch of used car salesman.

I'm NEVER bringing my car here for service, EVERRRRRRRR again! There's NO COMMUNICATION with staff about your vehicle, and the wait time to get AN OIL CHANGE IS ALWAYS 3 TO 4 HOURS!!! IT IS ABSURDDDDD!!! I live here in NO EAST so i thought it'd be convenient!!! IT NEVER IS!!!! EVERY SINGLE TIME I COME HERE ITS HOURSSSSSS!!!! METAIRIE PROBABLY DOESNT TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS!!!! SCHEDULING AN APPT IS A WASTE OF TIME!! IM TRULY PISSED! YALL HAVE LOST A VALUABLE CUSTOMER!!!!

I usually don't leave 1 star reviews. We bought a new car in the year of manufacture at this dealership, and had a small accident last year, so we took the car to the service center for repair. Sending it to this service center for repairs has become the biggest regret of my life. They haven't completely fixed the car until now, at 7 months. My insurance company has paid over $12,000, but the repairs are still pending. Never leave your car for repairing here. For 7 months I had to go back and forth to check the car about 20 times, and I hadn't used the car for over 4 months. Don't waste your time and money here. I've reached the limit of my patience. Their mechanics don't seem to have any professional skills. They haven't fixed the car neatly in 7 months. Even though the car problem is not a major part. They don't answer the phone and rarely call back. You can't know what's going on unless you visit it yourself. It's common for things to go wrong here when you visit to check it out the car.

Clinton , and Victor were great!! I just bought a 2022 Highlander and they made the buying process extremely easy. Reily the sales manager help me with the price and offer me different types of packages my vehicle could come with. Mr.Geriod the manager came and help me with my trade in. Finally Mr Joe Akaawi was so hopeful on explaining the importance of have a tire package and what my interest would be. Over all 1000 out of 10. Thank you guys!! And I was introduced to service lane manager Robert Jenkings who made my first oil change appointment. Thank you again guys!

UPDATE: went back to Toyota of NO and man do I regret it. The service department is a nightmare. Sales and finance are great but service is a nightmare. You only buy a car once, you service it multiple times, so this prevents me from ever doing business with these guys again!After purchasing 8 cars from Toyota of New Orleans over the years, and referring multiple friends, I will never be back! The service department had turned into a joke and the lack of communication is infuriating. Car was towed in on Thursday 5 days later and cannot even get a phone call back. Technician gave me his cell number and voice mail is full and no answer at desk. Promised a loaner vehicle, then denied they promised it. There are way too many dealerships in this area to deal with one that breaches the contracts of the warranty you purchased from them and makes promises they cannot keep. Go ANYWHERE else!!!!RE: REPLY - I did reach out to Steve Cobos - he did not respond.

Wonderful and honest service. Friendly and patient. I brought my car in when the maintenance light came on and they were truthful about it not being time for an oil change yet. They rotated my tires for a good price. I m hard of hearing and they spoke clearly and repeated when needed. Positive experience and I ll be back to get my paint fixed. Nice balance of women on staff. All kind and friendly faces. Everyone waiting were nice too. Coffee and water was available for free as well as TV. There was vending machines too. Comfy waiting room. I recommend. They were helpful and it was an overall good experience.

Avoid the service department if possible. More often rude than not! Most recent service for routine oil change and tire rotation took 1 hour and 44 minutes!!!

Awful customer service. On Saturday morning 6/10/23 I went to the service dept because I had my oil changed and the maintenance button or odo needed to be reset. The young lady told me they couldn t help me because they didn t do the oil change. All she seem to want to know is if I had an appointment. I don t remember her saying good morning. Even after I told her and the other young service gentleman that I had it reset at the New Orleans east location before l still wasn t helped. She also told me since my Lexus was not a Toyota I needed to go somewhere else. So, I did because a Lexus is a luxury Toyota.

Service center quoted me a price then after I dropped my car off they called to double the price with added fees. Lost a day of my life and others picking me up and dropping me off. Can t recommend this service department. When I talked to the manager he said he couldn t do anything about it and had me go out of my way again to get my car after hours of being there with no service. I truly believe if I were a man this would have been a different situation. Carlos the manager was unable to respond to my questions and concerns in a way that showed any empathy to my dealing with their mistake. 0/5

The whole team at Toyota of New Orleans was wonderful and friendly. Our sales consultant was Darius and he was SO great! He reached out to us and found exactly what we were looking for at a great price. We couldn t have asked for a better experience. Will definitely be recommending anyone interested in buying a car to this team. We appreciate you all!

Do not bring your car here. They don't call or return calls. They had my car for over 3 and half months! Didn't call me back. They just stated parts and rims. Went to finally pick up my car and my tire wasn't even,put on all the way, the back tire had a leak,and the next day the battery was completely dead. Do yourself a favor a find another place to go,or you will deeply regret it like I did. I have to take my car to another place,to oversee their carelessness.

If you want to be treated like trash then take your money and your business to Toyota of New Orleans.If I could give the service department ZERO stars I would. We brought the car in for regular maintenance and less than a week later the check engine light came on and the car was leaking fluids and it stalled. We brought the car back to the service department and was told the radiator top tank was damaged, valve cover gasket leaking, the radiator and valve cover needs replacing.We picked up our car after waiting two weeks for them to do the work and it stalled on us less than 10 miles up the road less than 30 minutes after picking it up. Upon calling them to tell them the car stopped and we re stranded, the only reply we got was we re closed call your insurance and have it towed. The customer service here is deplorable and non-existent. They don t care at all about the customer. This type of behavior is unacceptable and I will NEVER take my business to Toyota of New Orleans again.

My car had the catalytic converter cut out from the bottom of it and I had it towed here the same day. Toyota made me wait 5 months to finally get the part for my car and once it came in they refused to do the work because they discovered that another adjoining piece had to be sourced. This discovery happened AFTER 5 months of having already waited on the catalytic converter to be sourced. They tried to blame our insurance company for not finding the missing part for them! Complete insanity.My life has been totally disrupted for many months and my insurance did all they could, but nothing can compete with this dealership's incompetence and complete disregard for the human beings they serve.After a call to an independent auto shop I was quoted a 10 day turn around. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time here, Toyota does not care about you and you are just a number to them. You will wait for the rest of your life if you leave it up to them and pay out the nose on top of it all. Premium price for non existent service. Hard pass.Update: Toyota ended up attaching a new catalytic converter to my car without telling us, knowing they didn t have another part needed to finish the job and release the car. That means no other auto body shop would take the car and Toyota essentially held my car hostage. After five long months of waiting on this repair, Toyota had the audacity to actually charge my insurance company to install a new catalytic converter on a car that still can t be driven! We finally had to total the car and have it towed off their lot. At a time when catalytic converters are so scarce because of rampant theft, it s unconscionable that they knowingly wasted a new catalytic converter on a car that they knew could not be completely fixed - just so they could get paid. Now I have to buy another car that will take years to pay off all because of Toyota s incompetence.These people are completely unethical. Please don t do business with them.And Toyota: Don t pretend you suddenly care by adding a canned response to this review asking me to reach out to someone specific at your location. It s definitely too little too late.

I have had so many issues with this dealership and after speaking to Mr. Lewis, the issue still is unresolved in my book. Toyota placed brakes on my car that Lexus stated was done incorrectly. I have had issues with the brakes, but they did what I as a woman felt they should. Not knowing it was done wrong. When they first put them on, the made a clap noise, then the squeaking started. I had to pay Lexus to do them again. I only asked for a refund of what I paid Toyota to do the front brakes. I wasn't asking for my total at Lexus. Mr. Lewis declined to give me that back, stating I had a warranty on the brakes they put on. Who would feel comfortable letting them redo something they did wrong in the beginning. He basically said he doesn't trust Lexus. Sad, because you can't trust any of these dealerships. Do yourself a favor and don't go to this dealership for a car or service.You all have no integrity, yet state you will honor a warranty? You stated that my brakes were done properly. That's not true. How can I trust you all there? Why would I bring my car back when you have said over and over nothing is wrong?

My Service Consultant was Robert and he was so very courteous, kind and understanding to my needs. He saved me money! I requested an alignment and he question why I thought I needed it. I thought because I drive on many roads that are bumpy and filled with potholes I needed an alignment. He graciously told me he didn t think it was necessary but would have them test drive my car to make sure. He was correct in his assessment and save me money that I didn t need to spend. THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you Robert for all you help keep up the good work and never change your way of taking care of the customer!Ms. C
