Tim's Quality Car Care really rocks. I have been a couple times and even when they don't do the type of work I'm asking for, their recommendations where spot on. It's hard to find a reliable mechanic shop anymore that you can trust, but this is one of them. Friendly service advisors who are knowledgeable and keep you updated every step of the way. I delt with Brian, and he was exceptional. Their digital inspection is great too, even adding pictures along with comments to show you exactly what is going on. Glad to give them my business.

Our family has had such a good experience at Tims. Everyone is very attentive and thorough. They are very transparent about the work that needs to be done on your car, and they will let you know what s urgent vs. what can wait. We are thankful for this great, family owned business in Nola!

Brought my car in during the time of their special value tune-up offer. They had already completed all the agreed upon prioritized work. It was done in parts, which made it affordable for me. My car is 23 years young and is now running very well. I m pleased with the quality and care they take in every visit I make for repairs and maintenance. The owners and their mechanics take their work very seriously. It s as if it is THEIR car they are working on. Having the car for 23 years, I can say I feel very confident in driving my car when I leave their shop. And also, I m grateful for the shuttle service they provide; and for Brian, Service Advisor, along with the owners, seeing me on the same day, when I contacted the shop with a small problem, at no charge.

I have been going to Tims' Auto for 8 years. Have been very happy with their work. More than happy, but a feeling of trust as my vehicle is so important and I need it in excellent functionality for many more years to come. It is a 12 year old vehicle and runs like new.Sincerely,It really does.Thanks all of you at Tim's!

Very lovely people to deal with. They were thorough with my car inspection and explained the details so that even this non-car person could understand. I had to limp my car in here one day because it was misfiring. The whole crew is super helpful and welcoming. The shop is clean. Rises up, gleaming, from the tucked-away location in Mid-City. Their complete diagnotic service is top-shelf auto shop stuff. Seriously. They'll send you video/photos of what they found. And then they invite you to call in and let them discuss/explain what you're looking at and what they can do. Really a fantastic service. That and their warranty on work done is better than what you'll get elsewhere. My poor car had a lot of needs and I was grateful to pay for the diagnotic check up. Unfortunately, I had to limp my car back to my house for a while to get a game plan on what to fix and when to do it all due to finances. This place isn't cheap, but they shouldn't be, in my opinion. I will be back. And will recommend Tim's to anyone in need of car care.

I ve been using Tim s auto to service my two 4 runners for years. I Totally trust them and love that they are a family run business!! They do an excellent job keeping my trucks in tip top shape!! I 100% recommend them!!!

Was having worrisome sounds that sounded like a transmission problem. Tim was kind enough to ride with me, confirm my worst fears, advised against paying many thousands for a new transmission, and even gave me ideas for selling/donating my car. He wouldn't even let me pay him for his time. I will be back whenever I need trustworthy help in the future!

Their digital multi step inspection is awesome. They don t try to fix everything that they find (example: brakes) and let you know that st the next service (6 months) it may be time to change pads, etc. but to let them know immediately should brake issues arise before the next scheduled service. They just finished my 6 months check up and service, completing routine maintenance.We are moving later in the spring and I hope to find another quality independent shop in Kentucky that is as close to Tim s in service and quality as possible.

I love Tim's! Super friendly and extremely attentive to detail, I always know I'm getting an accurate diagnosis (including photos, no less). I wouldn't consider going anywhere else with my car!

My first visit to Tim's was the best experience I have ever had at a mechanic. Not two minutes after I arrived, Tim took a test drive with me to discuss the issue, and called me two hours later with diagnosis. After getting estimates, I decided NOT to make the repairs due to the cost and the age of the vehicle. When I went to pick up the vehicle, I figured they'd quickly show me the door, but nope... two of the technicians took the time to talk to me (unprompted) about the repairs, my driving routine, and to advise me on replacement of my vehicle. I was greatly appreciative of their advice, which will definitely inform my purchase.So, although I did not proceed with today's repairs, I will certainly be bringing my new vehicle to these guys. They clearly love what they do, and they're different, and I dig it.

Just called in and spoke with Tim. They are not equipped to drop transmissions and can not do the work I need. Tim was pleasant on the phone and promptly gave me a recommendation for where I could get the work done. Thanks much!

These guys are awesome !I drive 200-300 miles a day for uber/lyft and have used Tim's for oil changes and full inspections every 5,000 miles. They are attentive to my concerns, follow through, call me with questions, extremely knowledgeable, and let me know when the car is ready. How many times have you had to call your mechanic for an update on your car's progress ? I recommend them daily as I drive riders to and from their dealership service. This place is awesome. We are having trouble with a certified pre-owned car and were having trouble getting into the dealership in a timely fashion. Nick called after I'd placed an online appointment request and offered to scan the car that afternoon! Amazing. After the scan, he honestly and realistically gave me not only a clear explanation of what was likely going on with my car, but also clear information on what my options were. The business seemed efficient and professional, and everyone working there seemed competent and kind. I will definitely be going back there for service needs and recommend them to anyone looking for a fast and effective auto shop in New Orleans.

Outstanding service. Best experience I ve ever had with a auto repair. The Digital Inspection Report documented what services were performed and clearly communicated issues that needed addressed. The staff did a great job communicating the scope of repair needed and talked me through options of what they recommended to perform immediate and what to budget for during our next service. Highly recommend you take your car to Tim s. My friend's car had an oil leak and I offered to call around and get it checked out since I had the day off. I called around to a few places and everyone was understandably booked, and then I spoke with Brian at Tim's. Brian asked questions about the last time the car was serviced and how old the car was, and recommended bringing it back to the place my friend had the oil change done last month. Brian was upfront about how at Tim's they would charge for labor and parts (completely understandable) that the oil change place should fix for free - if it was an issue with their work (turns out it was). Dealing with mechanics can be daunting - but next time I have an issue with my car (or my friends') I'll definitely be calling Tim's to make an appointment. Thanks again to Brian for kind and comprehensive communication!!

Great experience and great people! They found several problems with my wife's vehicle when I brought it in. Together, we went through each issue line by line and figured out exactly what we could fix today and what could wait. They were very understanding of my budget and I had my car back the very next day. I'll be back!

It's never fun to have to bring your car in to be serviced but Brian at Tim's Quality Car Care made it as pleasant as possible. He listened to all of my concerns. They provided me with an online list of all of my car's issues, rating them from urgent to non-urgent. After going over all of them individually I was able to figure out what I needed to get done and what could wait. They got all the work done quickly and fairly. This was the best experience I have ever had dealing with car repairs. The staff and technicians at Tim s were great with communicating the issues for repair and prioritizing what needed to be done. It was easy to set up an appointment online, and the time frame for the repair was very convenient as well as the courtesy shuttle service to and from home. It was a pleasure to have them provide repair service for my car. My experience at Tim s was excellent in every way possible. Brian, the Service Adviser, went through item by item of the numerous issues revealed by the Digital Vehicle Inspection of my 2004 Toyota Pre Runner that has 213, 920 miles. He assisted me with prioritizing the issues and working out a plan to address them.When driving my 19 year old truck away from Tim s, I was shocked, as it felt like it did when I bought it, new, from the Toyota dealer!I have gladly recommend them to several friends, giving them raving reviews! They have made repairs and taken care of everything so I feel comfortable on the road. They give an overall score for my car and then list everything they check and say what is critical and what can wait. Everything that needs fixing, they show a photograph of it. I feel they care about me and my car and are very honest. They do excellent work and explain everything in detail. This company is the gold star of good customer relationships. As long as i drive, this is where I will bring my car.
