Great shop! Brought my '73 Monte Carlo in for some carburetor work. They diagnosed the issue, found other issues and communicated them to me and got them repaired for a reasonable price and time. Car has never run better. They definitely have a customer in me. Thanks

Cool shop! Trey was an awesome help to me and was very gracious with his time and attention to my questions. Got a T-shirt and saw some cool rides. These guys do good work - I saw it first hand.

The owners and staff in the Bomb factory are the best of the best. They provide great customer service, they are honest and are top notch mechanics. I can t say enough good things about Charles, Trey, David and the rest. They did excellent mechanic and body work on my 1970 Torino. If you are a local or from another state and need to have work done on your classic or muscle car, this is the place to take it too.If I could I would give them 10 stars.

Fantastic work by Steve, Trey, and the guys. The paint came out great, and they went above and beyond to get the color match just right. Definitely recommend for any vintage custom work.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Brought my 89 Ramcharger in after two other shops had given up. They fixed an issue another mechanic had made but not the core gremlin which turned out to be a factory bad spark plug.Spent way too much to be driving off the lot and the truck is still misfiring.Fraser Auto out in Kenner Bruhhhhh is worth every penny.

Evidently you have to be extremely wealthy to use this shop. When I called I left a message and got a call back the next day. I told the guy on the phone what I would like to do with my car. Before I could finish my second sentence the guy from the shop cut me off and said I'll have you know that our paint jobs start at $25,000 and our Mechanic's charge is $175 an hour. That's fine. They can charge whatever they like but I found it very rude that he assumed that I am not able to pay his extremely high prices. Maybe he should have went about it a little differently. I felt like he heard me talk and profiled me as a man who can't afford his service. Whether I can or can not afford a $25,000 paint job he will never know because he was rude and I would not use their service. I guess all I want is a little respect.

These guys are top notch! Found Steve and his team online when I needed some repairs to a multi-million dollar custom built marketing bus. They fit us into the schedule quickly, got excited about the project, and fabricated new pieces to replace what had been damaged. Very friendly, super professional, and their work is spotless. Really appreciate their extensive network of subcontractors including detail and vinyl. Also, added bonus: you get to see some super cool old cars in the shop. Highly recommended, and we will be back for other things too.

I can't remember the last time, if ever, Ive had such a positive experience with a business. Ive recently bought an 87 Trans Am that I wanted a mechanic to have a look at and have its spoiler repaired. I had originally gone to a body shop to fix the spoiler but they refused to touch it and suggested The Bomb Factory. I gave them a call and talked to Steve, who quickly came across town to my place to look at the car. He recommended a mechanic that knew the car very well, he ended up working out great for me, and told me to drop by the shop to repair the spoiler. They were able to make the fix easily and instead of charging me Steve gave me a tour of their shop which contained some of the most beautiful cars Id ever seen. I can't recommend these guys enough. If we all conducted ourselves a little more like this wed have a better world to live in.Service: Body & Trim

I found a 66 Mustang in New Orleans and had them check it out prior to buying. My plan was to have it shipped back to me so I could start restoration but after going over the details I decided to hire them. They painstakingly restored the car from head to toe and kept me informed throughout. The P&B and mechanical work was nothing less than amazing. They went above and beyond and didn t forget one detail. I just found a 68 and if the deal goes through I m shipping the car directly to them!

they did a bang-up job on my 1977 toyota land cruiser. the work done was under budget and they got my baby back on the road in no time. they were extremely responsive and super professional. its really great having the peace of mind to know that if i ever need work done, these folks will get it done well and for a reasonable price--and even come give me a tow if needed, god forbid. i will definitely be back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone

Grateful for the work Steve, Devin and the team did on my 67 Impala SS. LS swap - complete drivetrain replace/rebuild - radiator to rear end. Disc brake upgrade, suspension rebuild, interior refresh...they do it all. Practical advice, great communication, very friendly. Nice working with real car guys who truly love what they do. Thanks for everything!

I bring my 85' El Camino here. I love this shop. im very picky about mechanics and these guys are amazing and now fast friends. Support a local business and come here. I also brought my 2006 Dodge Sprinter Box truck and they were able to service it with their diesel mechanic! I got really great prices and the work is detailed. Classic cars need TLC to be your regular day to day vehicle and they go over and beyond with service and customer care. Thanks!

These guys are amazing!!! I saw their TV show on History channel and was initially skeptical. However, after wasting years and countless dollars with two different shops on the west coast I sent my 1967 Camaro to them and couldn t be more pleased. They are a first class restoration shop with crazy talent.

Ok, let me tell you a story:I was purchasing a 67 mustang from a private seller. I found this group, and they were able to do a pre-purchase inspection. It got done, no issues, and that would be the end for most transactions. Here's what made this different:-When I called and spoke with Steve, he spent a good 10 minutes just getting to know me and my situation. He gave me his cellphone number and told me to contact him with any questions or concerns.-The seller was initially a little hesitant about dropping off his car at a shop he didn't know (can't really blame him), so they brought all their tools to the seller and did the inspection right there.-The seller was still a little bit nervous, but afterwards said "Those guys know everything there is to know". Coming from a guy who restored a classic mustang, it actually meant something.-They did a THOROUGH inspection, found some things that I doubt an inspection at other places would have, and gave me the honest truth.Trust me, this is the place you're looking for.-Customer for life

Somehow a "2 hour diagnostic" for fixing the AC took them 2 days. When they called and said that not only could they not figure out what was wrong, but it would be another $500 just for them to "look deeper", I decided to pick the car up. When I get there it was very uncomfortable and obvious that was not thrilled with the service. They tell me it will be $360, even though nothing of note was actually done. Then they try to show me something under the hood, and they can't get the hood open. 3 guys spent around 15 minutes fidgeting with the hood, before I had enough and wanted to leave. They never could get it open.As I was trying to leave I got very uncomfortable when the owner said with a laugh, "Well now you HAVE to come back to get your hood unlatched." Was that the plan all along, to break something that was working just fine before bringing it in, so that I would be stuck there? I asked for a discount since they clearly broke something but all he cared about was how he was going to get paid, and I got the distinct impression that if I didn't pay for the service that I was obviously unhappy with, I simply wouldn't be able to leave with my car.Once I got home, my other mechanic was able to open the hood in about 5 seconds to discover that they had broken the latch. On further inspection, they damaged my compressor and my brand new fan was no longer working. They didn't tell me they were even doing any work on the car. There was also a random, very conspicuous hose they left hanging out of the bottom of the car that had to be put back. I never did get the diagnostics they were supposedly putting together all day either.I think the most insulting thing on top of all this is that the owner could not have possibly cared less that I wasn't happy. The fact that he seemed to think that I would actually come back there to get anything "fixed" after that experience is laughable. 0/10 would not recommend

Don't take your car here! I brought my 1966 Ford Bronco here after looking at their website. It was overheating and having some electrical issues with the fan not turning on. 2 visits, $4,000 in "hours" (of which I paid $1,000), 12 weeks, and my car runs worse than it did when I first came in. I must have called them twice a week for 12 weeks and it did nothing to help make my project a priority for them. The most frustrating experience ever! The car literally shakes now and the A/C no longer blows cold. To fix my original issue they finally just decided to wire the fan directly to the ignition! After all that they said they would wash it and I could come get it. I get there and its filthy and the battery is dead. These guys are terrible!

I brought my 1966 mustang to them for a good bit of work. They claimed to have rebuilt the engine, which I immediately noticed that the head gasket was incorrectly installed, causing water to find its way into the engine. They claimed to have rebuilt the transmission, it also leaks and I was forced to bring it to a real shop for the repair. I spent thousands of dollars on man hours but still very disappointed in all of the work.Stay away from this place, you will regret it.

The gentleman at this shop are hacks and blame everyone else for their shortcomings and inability to fix classic automobiles. In fact, they've made matters exponentially worse on my classic car. They had my car for over 2 years and couldn't get it functioning without a "hood flying off", a gear shifter to become dismembered from the car, or from the car to die in the middle of an interestion. Since then I've shipped it to a guy Youngstown who's retuned the car in excellent condition. If you need work and these guys have fleeced your money, message me and I'd be happy to refer you to the Ohio crew.

If you have an older vehicle that you love, you need to bring it to a shop that loves them crusty old things like you do. This is the only shop in New Orleans that I would trust with my classic car.
