My oil change was quick and inexpensive. The technicians there did a great job of being informative and attentive to my questions and concerns, on top of making sure I knew exactly what was going on. On top of that, Cletus was very personable and even gave me some directions to another place I was looking for in the area. Overall a good experience!

Great crew. I saw , team work , staff communication, and leadership from the manager. And the service to my car was spot on. I felt like I was amongst young professionals, happy to be of service. Money well spent ! More than just an oil change & new air filter, but a friendly professional experience!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!There is always a problem after going there. The first time my fiance brought her car there, they left their drug paraphernalia under the hood. A little piece of foil with three perfect circles of soot. As a paramedic, I recognized it for exactly what it was, pill smoking foil I should have taken this as sign and never went back but anyway. The second time she brought her car there she comes home and leaves a giant puddle of oil under the car. They forgot to tighten the drain plug. Luckily the engine didn't come apart from lack of oil. Now, after the third trip, the coolant reservoir cap is missing, I bring the car back and they have me wait in line for 30+ minutes. I run in to say "I just want the cap back" and am told that if it were there they would have found it when they cleaned up. Nobody bothered to look around. I have had it.

As soon as you pull in you know this place is special because they hand you a cold bottle of water. Time estimate to have your service is accurate. They retain your profile so they know when your last service was and what grade oil you prefer. Tires get air, fluids get topped off, oil and filter changed all in 5-10 minutes. But, the best part is their attitude; they are genuinely happy you are their customer and appreciate your business.

Dee did a fantastic job! The work done on my car was thorough yet speedy. Great experience & my car is all good to go. Been coming to this location for the past 2 years and always am pleased.

Great service. Everyone there was friendly and did what they do best. They checked my air filter and cabin filter and showed me both were still good and clean and did not try to scam me into new ones. Just changed my oil. Like i wanted. Had a few friendly conversations and compliments on my car and i was on my way within 10 minutes.

It was quick and efficient except for remembering to give me my receipt and change before waving me out. I had to ask for it! As I was driving I realized my washer fluid was still empty and I was too far away to turn around, although my receipt said washer fluid was full. I m questioning now what else was forgotten about.

Had a great to be getting a oil change. The crew here is the best in the Louisiana area..And this place honors Veterans . A most visit if you need your oil change or just the experience. Thanks ladies and gentlemen for a awesome experience

The experience was completely different from the times I had been there before. They used to offer customers a bottle of water, and they were conversational. The work was very slow, they didn t try to upsell me, which is good, but I needed wiper blades and we had to do a separate transaction once I remembered. As I was leaving, my back window was still dirty because although they tested out the wiper blade, they didn t clean it. I had to ask them to do it. I like Take 5 but will go to a different location from now on.

The young lady was great!! I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for service. There was only one other worker there with her. This is unacceptable. If i didn t need an oil change desperately, I would have left and went to my dealership instead.

The service was excellent. Although there were a few cars in line, they greeted you and offered you a bottle of water when I pulled up. Every person I interacted was pleasant and very helpful.

I had a very positive experience at Take 5 on Carrollton. They were busy and there was a wait time and line. I ve been at other Take 5 locations in the N.O. and it s surrounding areas, and have been in similar lines. Sadly these other locations did not handle themselves as well as the Carrollton location. These other locations were frazzled and grouchy to the customers. But the Carrollton location employees had conducted themselves in a very professional manner. They did the job at hand and did it well, without trying to upswell every possible angle they could. They were genuine in providing the work that needed to be done and not more for their own benefit. I imagine this integrity and professionalism is why the lines often stay long at this location.

I didn t have a good experience again. The first time I was told by the mechanic that I have an oil leak. I took it to another Take 5 after all my oil drained out on my driveway and that mechanic said the other place stripped the oil plug. They fixed it. I returned this time and the mechanic said I had a major oil leak. Again the oil dropped on my driveway so I took it to a mechanic and he said they didn t tighten the oil plug all the way. This Take 5 on Carrollton is hit & miss . They have encouraged me to start changing my own oil. Some of them don t seem like they care.

Everyone was perfect , complimentary water bottle presented once I pulled up . Dee was wonderful and Dennis was also very excellent . Whole team was on point ! I went to get an oil change on 3/29/24. 5 stars

Efficient, careful, courteous service. Some locations have forgotten to fill my tires or clean my windshield but still reported that they did these things on my receipt. The folks at the S. Claiborne location did all this and also gave me a break on a coolant flush with a coupon I didn't know about. Very good experience.

Charles and Danny gave wonderful service. Very attentive to my car. Sensitive that I was about to leave town on the road for 9 hours. They make me feel safe.

I had an unusual experience yesterday. I have always had a great experience. I was charged 104.00 and some change for my oil change. When asked for the discount to be applied to my bill as usual. The black Gentleman wearing glasses refused to apply the discount previously given to because of no proof of Uber affiliation. I shared with him I didn t have to show proof of anything to receive a discount. Going forward I shared nor was I told what type of discount I was receiving in the pass. This lets me know that the gentleman could have discounted the bill if he wanted to.

Ashley , the manager is the reason I ve come to this take five for every oil change since they ve started working here. I ve never felt more confident and comfortable in services provided by a franchise and it s because of Ashley! I was also happy to see that there was more gender diversity then any other automotive shops I ve been to. Jasmine was also very helpful and professional during our oil change. Highly recommend!

Just waited over an hour and never received any service. I arrived at 5:10, pulling up behind a truck that was already in the garage, didn't get to pull up until 6:00, and was never ONCE acknowledged, greeted, or given any kind of interaction from the staff past guiding me into the garage. Eventually after another 15 minutes of just being stared at in my car I had to leave because all the other places I had to be were closing soon. I won't be coming back.

Friendly service. I think it s faster than going to a mechanic for oil change, but just so readers gauge time appropriately, fyi the oil change itself takes about 10-15 minutes, but the total wait could be longer if there s other people ahead in line.

I reminded the technician to check my tire pressure, because I saw that he was not doing it on the cars in front of me. I also told them that my window washer was empty. I still had to remind him to do my tires when I was leaving and the front right was at 40 lbs, the back left was at 40 lbs and the other two were at the proper pressure of 36 lbs when I got home. I tried my washers after I left and it was still completely empty. This past Saturday around 3:15 in bay 2. Did not wash windshield. Never visit this location again.

For the service you receive here, your prices are out of control (even with the random coupons). FYI, Your response to negative reviews looks canned. You want people to call you or email you with specifics even when they had specific concerns mentioned in the review? Which is why I won t list specifics here. Even if I did, I would need to pick up the phone or email you to help you out.

Even with cars 4 deep on a Friday afternoon, the service was quick and professional. The technician offered me options and took care of business with both speed and attention to detail. Highly recommend the Carrollton location.

While the employees did a great job,there were only 3 with 7 cars in line. It took over an hour. It was on a Friday morning.Management fhould have a better plan .I will continue to do business ,however I may not be as patient!
