Been here a few times. They are very friendly and efficient and haven't tried to charge me for things I don't need, including when I came to diagnose 'check engine' light. Another time, I mentioned I had a tire leak, and they don't repair tires... but they still found and marked the leak before sending me up the street to a place that would patch it. Highly recommend.

I was provided wonderful and honest service by all the staff. They did not try to upsell me on anything and did a great job replacing both my brake pads and rotors. I highly recommended SpeeDee on Carrolton and will be returning for future car services. Thank you all so much!

Speedy Oil on Carrolton Avenue is honest, helpful, dependable and professional. My Chrysler 300 has been their patient since 2011! my Speedy Doctors Looking for a Specialist that works on 2005-older Classic Cars, that are honest, dependable and professional as my Speedy Doctors!

Perhaps I got there at an opportune time but I pulled right into the bay and was out within 20 minutes. Everyone was friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I had an issue with my service engine light and some misfiring after i changed my spark plugs in Trailblazer. I called this location because I've been here twice before and they always seemed pretty courteous and willing to help. Anyways, one of the mechanics took care of my vehicle and it runs very well. I'll definitely head back when time for an oil change. The guy working in the office was really cool also.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Found a recommendation on Reddit to visit this shop. It was a great oil change experience, fast and reasonably priced with the market. The staff were all extremely nice and helpful.

I like 3 locations. Carrollton and both on Williams blvd. Been going there since 2005. They always remember me and my cars. Prices are cheap. Service is fast. Vehicle Performance is immediately better once leaving. I ve never felt sold or pushed into a purchase. Same great staff for many years.

Look, I don't know anything about cars. But I bought one now that I live in New Orleans and took it here to get an oil change based on a friend's recommendation. The service was fast and the attendant was friendly. I didn't feel they were pushy but did explain what services my car could need. I'm sure there might be a cheaper option out there but I felt well taken care of here. Will be returning once the right number of miles has gone by.

This is the only SpeeDee Oil I will go to in New Orleans! The mechanics are honest, experienced, and always take time to explain exactly what's going on with my car. I trust the team at this location and their work (which I can't say for other SpeeDee Oil Change locations in the surrounding area). Top notch service! I can't recommend them enough!

Went in for an oil change. Took 15 mins, 20 tops. Toped off all my fluids (included in the oil change) and checked my tire air pressure. Even recommended I replace my windshield wipers soon cause they're looking rough. Guys are real friendly and professional. Prices are very reasonable and they didn't try and push anything on me at all. If you need an oil change there is really no reason to go anywhere else, I know I won't be! See y'all next time!

Gave them a call and was informed that for a 5-quart oil change with the standard metal spin-on filter (most cars will have this, including my Corolla), plus the 17-point checkup, costs $29 + tax. I'm pleased with this price and the straightforward, concise answer I was given. I'll give updates when I go. UPDATE: (4:48 PM 3 Nov 2017) Glad to have had quick service. I must have been in and out in 15 minutes or less. With tax, the charge was ~$32. Glad to have gone. Thanks again!

Amazing place!! I'm new to town so I dont have a mechanic I can go to and my roommate recommended I go here when my car started overheating. Its not even part of their service but they checked it out anyways and even fixes the problem which was the coolant system. And they were so nice about it and didn't even charge me for it.

Went for an oil change and I've ended up with more problems. They failed to reinstall my undercarriage correctly after completing the work. When I went back to get the job fixed at 3:30, they told me that they couldn't do the work because they close at 4. Additionally, my radiator ended up displaced and cut my A/C line so now I'm on the hook for fixing that? Highly unprofessional and apathetic business. Will never give them business again.Service: Oil change

From out of town with wife for Avon Convention. Get to NOLA and check engine light comes on. Stop at Oriley's to get engine code and it's a cylinder 1 misfire. Take it to SpeeDee and the technician plugs in his diagnostic tablet. See's what it says, only 3 misfire counts, then clears the codes and tries to duplicate it by driving around and on I10. Couldn't get it to trip the error. Comes back and sits with me and is honest with me. He feels it might be the injectors, but shouldn't give me any trouble driving back 10hours since it had so few code counts. Wants me to use premium gas, run fuel additive injector cleaner, and didn't even charge me for the hour diagnostic time. Wow! What a nice place. I'd go back here for sure if I lived in NOLA. I've been twice since this location is so close to my house. however they don't offer the standard oil for my car which is a 2008 Toyota Camry nothing special instead I'm forced to buy a more expensive $70 oil. This past time when I went in again I had to buy an expensive oil that I didn't want or need, and they over-inflated my tires pretty badly. The max PSI for my tires is 32 they inflated them to over 40 which makes driving pretty dangerous. also none of the employees were wearing any PPE at all I won't be coming back

I've been using this Speedee Oil location since Katrina. The guys I know there, Keith and Terry, are friendly, professional and , very competent. I've never had any problems here that weren't taken care of asap. I would send my Mother to this location if she lived in NOLA

Don't think about going here. The staff and manager will try to gyp you any way they possibly can. I used to go there in college in the early 2000's because of their location. The manager always tried to hustle me by saying I need this or that done to my car when I just went in for simple oil changes(sometimes right after I've come from a more reputable place that told me everything was copacetic with my car) . I've stayed away since then but recently I found a coupon online for speedee and again went there because of location and convenience. Did they stop trying to rip people off after 10 years that I've been absent? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Don't waste your time. Its worth the trip going some place else :(

The manager told me they did not work on Mercedes. I called the other location from the parking lot and they said they all service Mercedes and set up an appointment the next day at another location. If you at work and not interested in working just say that instead of lying.

Every sense I had a car speeder oil change on carrollton if you are looking for a place to service your car I recommend speeder oil change they r #1 you can try other oil change its your choice but if you want the best it's speeder o also fill you up on other fluids for your ride n they clean your car and check your tires also included and your service keep up the good work like on carrollton thanks

Amazing service. I had a minor body problem and they removed the piece for free and right away! Second time at SpeeDee for an emergency. Both times were great.

Pulled in here to get coolant checked in my car. The guy was really nice but when he backed my car up and at their fault he hit something and knocked the covering under the bottom of my car off. He admitted that he hit something at the time. When I got home is when I noticed the covering was hanging down. When I called one guy tried to cover it up saying my car sit too low to pull in the workshop instead of admitting that they knocked it off and that it was already hanging. That's bad for business. Make a mistake, own up to it. Wasn't going to write a review but since he wanted to talk to me like I was dumb or something I felt I should.

I've been going here for years, this location and in slidell. They stripped my oil pan plug costing me $350 in repairs. They refuse to pick up the tab, exclaiming " if you would have brought it here we would have fixed it for you free of charge."A.) How was I supposed to know when all my emergency lights came on it was my empty oil pan?B.) the car wasn't drivable.C.) The name SpeeDee Oil Change' doesn't include 'And Mechanic'.D.) Why would I trust you to fix my car, when you broke it.FURTHER MORE, from one business owner to another, own it and fix your irresponsible mistakes.

I had the oil changed in July 2014, while I was visiting the area. I live in the Atlanta area. When it was time for my next oil change. I went back to the guy I normally use.Turns out this Speedee stripped out the oil plug so badly (it was totally flat) that my guy had to weld a piece on to it, just to get the bolt out. This after I waited over an hour for them to change the oil. SpeeDee Carolton Ave ..you suck
