Always friendly, always quick. Really appreciate these guys. Everything about motorcycle maintenance is cathartic for me...but I can't stand doing tires! Scoots always had my back. If you need great work done on your bike, look no further.Just recently had them mount the rear tire and tube for my XR. Very pleased

If you have a Chinese scooter or bike this is your place to get it repaired. Not many shops will work on Chinese scooters and bikes but these guys do. I went here to get a tire replaced when I was in a bind and they got it done quicker and cheaper than anyone in the area. You are also dealing with the owner when you go here which is a bonus.

Bought an RX50 here. 1800 miles on it and it s been worked on 4 times in 8 months starting the same day I purchased it. Doesn t run anymore but is still under warranty and Oscar refuses to replace it. When they delivered it to my house the mechanic dropped it off the truck. Currently having to seek refund through legal measures.

Amazing, kind, fast and affordable service! Called multiple shops in town about a leak on the rear tire of my Vespa. Avenue Scooters told me they d have to replace the tire before they looked at it. Scoots got me in immediately, repaired a seal around the tire s rim for $20 and sent me on my way within the hour. Best service around, highly recommended thanks so much!!

Well several things happened. The places seems a bit sketchy so be careful.I did like that my husband did not get a great customer experience. His bike had been broke for a minute with knowledge of a great repair shop he passed this shop by accident.I was glad that he was able to fix it but he soon needed another repair which I thought was intentional.Never the leas it's running and he's happy be sure to ask about the warranty because it was not explained initially to my husband

Do NOT go here. Every time my husband took his scooters here, they come back missing pieces like bolts, etc. The last time he went there he got an oil change. Within less than 100 miles, the motor was toast. A different mechanic found the culprit: THEY EMPTIED THE OIL AND NEVER REFILLED IT!!!! Whoever changed the oil clearly got distracted and just emptied and plugged it back up.When we called him about it, he couldn't tell us who worked on it, and wanted us to take it to him. Yeah right. Not touching a single thing of ours again. He was offered to go SEE the motor, and that wasnt good enough. Yeah, he wanted to destroy the evidence for small claims court. When asked to compensate the smallest amount (the bill for the labor that CAUSED the expensive repairs), he was not even willing to do that. So basically we paid him to cost us money. Go anywhere else, just don't go here. All about supporting small business. That's why we went to one when the motor seized from Scoot's error: they found the issue, when we told him what it was he said "i can't just trust anyone else's word".Yeah, well WE can. They found his error and they work on NOPDs motorcycles. Im guessing they don't forget to refill the oil.

DO NOT BRING YOUR SCOOTER HERE!Its VERY rare that I ever leave reviews let alone bad ones but to agree with MANY others this is the WORST experience I've had with a scooter shop! The owner is by far the most rudest and unprofessional owner I have ever dealt with. As stated in all the other bad reviews bolts will go missing, parts will be damaged/cracked, your scooter will literally break down! No matter how new it is. NEVER had a problem with my scooter until I started bringing it here and it's JUST a little over a year old with almost 3000miles. I don't travel much but to work and back home but then again can't because a little after scoots working on it, it breaks down anyways.I'm only upset that I didn't listen to my fellow bike buddies on staying away from this shop. It says a lot even when the other shops I'm use to uptown told me that I should have just brought it to them. So if you're trying to bring your bike here because it happens to be convenient (closer to where I work now) save yourself the stress, your money, and time and go somewhere else.*Like what the owner recommends when you question why you have to keep coming back for repairs.*

I have a scooter that was purchased here 10 months ago. The scooter stopped running because of poor gas. The tow was $82 and a fuel flush was quoted at $175. Donna and Oscar were not very friendly. They did not want to take the time to speak with me over the phone and used harsh tones with me. I found someone on facebook who did the fuel flush for $50. I highly recommend using David at FX motorsports.

Nice owner with incompetent employees. My Stella 2007 seized, and they hauled the piston and replaced the rings for 395$. After 2 months and several phone calls to make sure the job was done (I leave in BR), I get there and found out that the fuel rod was broken. I didn't ask for any discount but the deal was that Oscar should have come over and fix it. He gave his word and seemed a reasonable guy, thus I agreed. Also, I honestly just wanted my moped because I was pretty worried that it ended in very incompetent hands since it was taking so long for fixing it. In fact I was right, and no one never came to fix the damage that THEY caused. This was two months ago, and it eventually lead to the clutch braking down (today). On the top of that, for the limited time that the scooter has been working I have noticed many more details that reveal how bad they work. They pulled the clutch's wire to the point where the moped won't stay in N unless you turn the selector on N (meaning the moped would move if you simply pull the clutch while on gear). They also probably confused the rear brake wire with the clutch one, and loosen it to the point that you have to push it all the way to have it barely working. Several bolts went lost, even though I realized it only once I got to replace the battery. The battery itself was in fact partially disconnected due to a missing bolt. The engine leaks oil from everywhere, which wasn't happening before. Considering what happened with the fuel rod and the bolts I seriously doubt that they replaced the gaskets that needed to be replaced after working on the cylinder. Also, the moped smokes a lot, which I pointed out immediately but they said it was because they added extra oil directly in the tank for the brake in.I am not sure how representative my experience is of the quality of their work, but I doubt that with such a low level of precision in their work they could do any good job on any kind of engine.BTW, if any scooter passionate read this review and has a mechanic to recommend in BR or NOLA, I am all ears.

Terrible service i called they didn't answer the man called back i asked him if they sold parts for mini bikes he said no I responded ok sorry thanks he makes a loud noise of dissatisfaction then hung on me. Its funny cause I read the reviews and thought it can't be that bad but they are its a wonder their still in business with the way they treat customers and potential customers.

My scooter sat dead all winter and when I tried to run it again there were some issues. I tried doing some work on it myself, but eventually took it to Scoots. They replaced the carb and did a tune-up and now my scooter runs better than it did when I first bought it (used). They got the work done in about 6 business days. There was a bit of miscommunication about the total cost of the repairs between the shop owner & the guy who delivered my scooter, but it all got worked out.

The owner is exceptionally helpful and friendly. He truly has a passion for the scooter world and is going to be a helping asset to its cause, first and foremost. Profit is secondary for sure. I highly recommend buying a scooter from him if you want a true snapshot of the scooter world and society in general.

I've never been, but I have to be optimistic! As no one else will replace my flat front tire, cuz it's only a , $300 Hover scooter. Right now it's my life line, I can't bike anymore cuz I need a new knee, which I can't do until my neck is fully healed from surgery and. All i know is a place called Scoots should have an 8.5" tire in stock, and they sound willing and able to repair any type of scooter. I'll find out on Monday if they are a grade above the rest, I sure am praying it's for real... cuz I'm lost without my own special mobility scooter!!

I've brought my scooter here a couple times because it's in my neighborhood, but I won't make that mistake again. Unfortunately each time they "fixed" my scooter, I had the same problem come back within a few days. The latest example was I had them replace my battery, and it got me home, but the next time I tried to start it it was dead again. My neighbor took a look and found that they had put in a REALLY cheap battery and there was a short in the wire that they clamped in a super shoddy way. So as soon as I drove it it disconnected and by the time I tried to start it again the battery had already died.

The guys at Scoots have taken great care of me and my awesome Vespa LXV 150. I had a terrible experience before at a Vespa dealership in the CBD so i took my business elsewhere (to Scoots!). The service I received at Scoots has been phenomenal: the staff is incredibly courteous and explained everything to me, the shop is clean and easy to get to, and the work is solid, affordable and completed in a timely manner. They even keep a list of stolen scooters and help the neighbors keep an eye out for hot bikes. Love me some Scoots!

They sell cheap imports of scooters. They take forever with repairs. The owner is mean and doesn't care about customer service.

Though really busy, Scoots hired a designated office worker which has done wonders for their organization. Super helpful, knowledgeable staff that always fits me in.My only major complaint is that that aren't open on the weekend.

Every time I've been there he has always tried to go above an beyond at his shop. He is a reasonable person to work with if you tell him your problem and what you need.
