The owner of this shop unfortunately is not work on Gold wings trikes or intruders. I have a 1500 Goldwing and I'm looking for a reliable shop as my bike is a 1989 and needs a shop that I can call home for it to be worked on. Gold wings are not cheap to have worked on so a shop that's not afraid of it would be nice.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this shop. I've taken my bike to them several times now for a variety of things I wanted either fixed, altered or added to. Their honesty and fairness, not to mention their accommodation of my schedule to the best of their abilities, is unrivaled. This is by far the best shop I've ever been to in a decade and a half of riding, and some of the most efficient, affordable and straightforward mechanics I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. If only all shops could strive to reach this level of customer care and consideration! Amazing shop, I HIGHLY recommend them!!!

Redbeards is a great shop,so glad I found out about this place.Nate is the only mechanic that I let work on my bike.Very knowledgeable and professional.

They rebuilt my carburetor on my dirt bike runs better than ever. Even though they had to order a part work was done faster than i expected. Price was fair also. Will definitely be going to them for my MC needs from now on.

The most honest, knowledgeable and down to earth mechanics I've ever had the pleasure to deal with. No longer do I need to worry about randomly fluctuating prices, double-check that proposed fixes are needed or price gouging on parts and accessories.For someone who doesn't know much about motorcycle repair and maintenance (but isn't naive), and who just doesn't have the time to learn, being able to have a relationship built on trust is a peace of mind.The new location, while slightly more difficult to access because of traffic was a much needed size upgrade.After trying a few mechanics, including very popular ones in town, I will not bring my ride to anyone else.

These guys are absolutely the best shop in town. Reasonable people, reasonable prices, and they ll go out of their way to take care of you. If you re in a bind or need routine work done take it here! Clean shop, right behind Five Happiness Chinese restaurant (sort of tucked in behind).

Called these guys one day because my bike broke down. Guy talked me out of paying for a tow to their shop. Diagnosed and walked me through step by step what he thought was the issue. He was right. Saved me a ton of money, fixed it myself and he taught me a few things. Good guys!

I took my Harley Softail to Redbeard Cycles. Nate immediately diagnosed my problems and had parts ordered and on the way the next day. They always call you and keep.you updated on what you need and keep you aware of the price as you go. Finds things and let's you know they need attention but not right then just to get your money. He said "I wouldnt take off to Texas on it but that will last you a little while". Lol! I liked that. That's true honesty. Very professional. Writes down by hand every part used and the number and the price and how much labor on each. Very down to earth. When my bike got there did not run. When it left today it runs better than ever! Finally found a shop in NOLA like the shops we had in Florida I will definitely be bringing my bike here from now on. Gonna make it to where I'd trust it to Texas Thanks Nate!

I called ahead and talked to one of the mechanics explaining the problem I was having with my motorcycle. His knowledge, patience and respect on the phone gave me enough confidence in them to bring the bike in. Brought it in the next day and he pushed it a little and pulled the clutch and explained what he thought was going on with the bike, with the disclaimer that there was a possibility that it could be more complicated. Luckily he was right, I was back on the road that day! These guys rule!

All I needed was a new battery, and Joe gave me a great price some good advice. He answered all of my questions for my "do it yourself job" without nickle and diming me. I will 100 percent be doing business with him in the future! Thanks, Joe

No matter if it s service or parts, Nate and the folks at Redbeard s always take care of me. When I had my sportster in for a major service we talked in depth about what needed to be done and Nate kept me updated every step of the way. Good people, if you got a V-twin in Nola, you go to redbeards. That s just how it is!

These guys are a complete joke they act like they're core Harley Mechanics but they wouldn't even change a tire out on my Harley because they said my rim would not fit on their machine. So I suggested that they use there brains and change it on the ground with tire irons they said they did not have any so Im assuming they are just fat lazy idiot's that have no business in the industry.

I've been dealing with Nate for a number of years after being introduced to him at Harley Davidson of N.O. In opening their new shop he and his brother Joe have helped me get my bike in and out repaired without and troubles.. They extend every courtesy when dealing with you and make sure you are happy with the decisions they make in getting you and your bike out and on the road safely. I would highly recommend these (2) bearded gentlemen without hesitation because of their work ethics and dedication to your safety and yes I ride, my bikes are a 2004 FLHTCUI Ultra Classic and a 1994 FLSTC Heritage Softail Classic FYI

Please stay away of these guys. They almost got me killed on the interstate by leaving the rear wheel lose and screw up my trip by tensioning the clutch cable so tight that caused the cable lock to snap. I was left stranded in Georgia and the motorcycle shipping cost was about 1500. Also The oils they use are no name brands and they charge the price of a motul (looks like kitchen oil to me)For a couple of bucks more , take your bike to a proper shop and have it looked at by certified mechanics.
