Brad is suoer informative and will not try to over sell. He will also not do it half way because you're being cheap. He is looking out for you. These are motorcycles. Your life is resting on two wheels and making sure it preforms perfectly. I'll go back to him over and over

Brad is very friendly and knowledgeable and fair in his pricing. He was more than willing to talk to me about his business, experience and offered to work on my bike even though he normally doesn't deal with the type of motorcycles I ride. Integrity seems to be a key word with Brad and his is worth every penny.

I have been dealing with Mattei since I was a kid. I was so please that he was able to take in my rare Suzuki Bking and do some restorative work after it sat up for a bit more than 2 years. He went thru everything , gave me his opinion on what it needed, and even built my custom Brake lines himself!!!! What I love most about him is his business ethics, this bike is plenty strong, more than I could ever fully use, but he never tried to over sell me on performance parts, or pushed me toward things that weren't necessary...despite that he is more than capable...it speaks worlds about a person when they do good work and aren't solely in it for the money.

Solid solid guy. So here's an honest review, my initial thoughts were Brad was a tad arrogant. But after 5 minutes of free advice I realized I was perceiving his attitude incorrectly and that he was being more than honest and in 2017 that is rare. I am the type that would pay a little extra for the peace of mind and that's exactly what Brad gives me. Every little piece and part he explained to me for free. Any person that will speak to.you for half an hour giving you free advice clearly isn't out here just to make a buck. To the guy that wrote the negative review, I see what you mean but you're totally wrong. If you want a sugar coated story go somewhere else. If you want quality service and a mechanical expert then look no further. Like many others I won't waste another second looking for another shop, Mr Brad will he the only guy to work on my bikes. Customer for life!!!!

A true master mechanic that definitely gives you more than what you pay for in both quality and competency. Definitely not a YouTube wannabe! Brad was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in assisting me with my 1998 GSXR 750. Due to the number of problems i had with my bike and the fact that Brad fixed ALL of my issues and concerns, he is now the only mechanic allowed to touch my machines from here on out! You truly get what you pay for and then some!

We were looking for high performance and high quality.... We will look no further, Brad is an amazing mechanic and engine builder. We don't have to worry about quality in his work or the parts he uses... will certainly recommend him to our friends that ride and race. #SatisfiedCustomer

Fixed my bike and got me on the road again. Uses higher-quality parts and shop supplies, exhibits above-average attention to detail in their workmanship. Shop owner and staff likely have more track/racing/riding/repair experience than you. If the motorcycle service your bike requires is beyond your ability or facility, you really should bring it to Brad's.

Finally a sports bike shop that I can count on. Brad definitely knows how to navigate around a sports bike. This is a high end bike shop selling high end parts. Parts take more time than I like however in the end I pick quality for my bike to continue finishing 1st

Brad, the man who owns and runs this shop is as honest and knowledgeable as I have ever found. I had a problem with my scooter, and he doesn't even usually work on scooters, and in a matter of minutes he knew exactly what to check to get to the root of the problem and was so freakin smart and full of integrity I just wanted to give him a hug!I am so so so eFFing done with motorcycle shops that do not have that sort of integrity and take your bike in behind the curtains and give it back weeks later for a mysterious amount of money and reasons.It's well worth going to people like Brad because their knowledge makes 1 hour of his time equivalent to about 3 hours of another mechanics time who may not know as much so you are paying for them to trial and error and learn as they go.People like him bring back a huge sense of trust with something that I usually feel so vulnerable with such as motorcycle repair because it can easily be sooo expensive and long fixes, but I just don't have the knowledge or time to figure out and fix the problems myself.Anyways, I just had to write a rave review because Brad absolutely saved my ass! And people full of integrity in this business should be noticed and known.

Brad is a living legend and unfortunately one of the best kept secrets in New Orleans Motorcycle community.Of all the states I ve lived in and ridden my motorcycle in, Brad is the best mechanic I know.

Mattei's Cycle Shop is great. Known owner for over 30 years. He's the only person I can trust to work on my bike. Very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommended going there for all your cycle needs!

Very unprofessional upon entered the business I was greeted by two vicious dogs running at me barking. The owner refused to put the dogs in the back or allow me to walk safely in the business without the escort of his aggressive, barking dogs charging at me. I asked the Owner to please call his dogs off he refused. I was totally afraid and will never patronage his business again.

Call this young man and he was quick to answer the phone, and due to him being swamped he gave me a detailed description of what to look for with the problem I'm facing on my bike. Definitely will be scheduling my bike to visit him for a tune-up
