Over the last 10 years, we have used Kehoe for all repairs. Honest, fair, and thorough for sure! But also kind! Shawn is a rock star!

I took my car here after a minor accident when it was making a strange sound and needed a new wheel. they replaced the wheel and fixed the sound, but they tried to overcharge me by more than $100 and a couple of months later the car is having the same issue again. I had to reach out to get any updates as they never contacted me of their own accord, and their attempt to charge me an additional $113 for an item they didn t even put on my car demonstrates to me that they do not have good intentions. I definitely won t come back here

Kehoe is a stand up operation. My car had a nightmare of a problem. Kehoe worked hard to address the root cause of the issue. I am very grateful for the honesty and tenacity in getting the job done right.

I love a good neighborhood mechanic and I am a really long way from mine. I am used to just being able to pop by before traveling and have a quick look over, top off fluids and overall safety check. I needed that assurance before leaving NOLA. Dropped by and they totally took care of me like I was home. They were diligent, friendly, fast, and fair priced. If/when I return and I need it again I will definitely be coming back!! Thank you for putting my mind at ease before traveling again.

I took my car in for multiple reasons. I broke down and they were super friendly about getting my car towed over even though they were really busy. The whole staff was excellent and communicated constantly with me about what was going on. Sean and the lovely lady at the front desk especially . They are so thorough about explaining things over the phone that I felt really comfortable making decisions about my car.Several days after I got my car back, there was something wrong with the repair. They offered to tow me back to them without hesitation, and were very honest and fair about the process of sorting out the issue and everything was fixed with in the day - a very busy Friday afternoon! They were flexible about finding a solution for me to pick it up after work as well. People are right - they are a little pricey- but I feel that you really get quality and professionalism at this shop.Go early because they fill up quickly - for a great reason). I am so happy with kehoe and I will definitely go back.

When you search for a place to have your vehicle repaired, it is important to connect with people who are honest and knowledgeable. Sometimes it's not what you want to hear, but making decisions based on truth is essential.I trust Kehoe. They even know how to work on my 5 speed older vehicle. I keep going back.Tell them you saw my referral!

Zero stars. Avoid at all costs.This place talks a good game. They are responsive and nice while they are trying to get your business, but that's where it ends. It's clear to me now that they are not a competent mechanic and are purposefully overcharging customers.Don't be fooled by their friendliness, this place is a huge scam. They came as a recommendation from a friend so I didn't have my guard up. They recommended 4 repairs to my vehicle. When I got the vehicle back, it was leaking MUCH worse than when I took it in. None of the 4 repairs had been completed properly.I took it back to them and they pretended it was an accident. They ultimately completed 1 out of 4 repairs I paid them $1200 for. I had to go under the car and tighten bolts myself to stop the leaks. Sloppy, incompetent work at this place.One repair they charged me $300 for. When I got the car back I could easily see the repair. It was as simple as connecting a 6" rubber hose to two plugs and putting 2 hose clamps on. This should have been a $50 repair. They charged $300. Any mechanic would know they had purposefully overcharged on this estimate.When I checked my fluid levels, they had sent my car back to me with the transmission fluid 1.5 liters low. This is incompetence. This is dangerous, and they likely caused lasting damage to my vehicle. They never completed the alignment I paid for.There is no reason this place should continue to stay in business. Please take your business elsewhere.

I ve been bringing my two old trucks to Kehoe for a couple of years and can t say enough good things about their service. Shaun and his team are thorough, efficient, and have never pushed repairs that didn t need to be done. With friendly reception and attentive care, I will definitely be bringing my vehicles into Kehoe as long as I am in New Orleans.

I've gone here several times now, and usually they're quick with repair work. I just had a tire and hub assembly replaced and they ended up repairing it much faster than expected. I've gone here at least once, where I had some concerns with my car, turned out my car was fine and they didn't charge me anything for looking my car over. Everyone is always super friendly and explains everything to you thoroughly before doing any repair work.

These guys are great! I called them up around noon to get a repair done. They didn't have all the parts necessary, and had to order one. To my surprise, I was told that the part would be in on the same day. Sure enough, the part arrived soon and I had my car repaired within just a few hours. With reasonable prices and *exceptionally* fast service, I'd definitely do business with them again!

Great mechanics at Kehoe! They came highly recommended by a few of my co-workers at Tulane and so I went there to inquire about getting my oil pan and gasket replaced.The last mechanic shop I went to, while also great with service, were pretty expensive with their labor costs and on top of that wanted to charge me over $600 for replacing the oil pan. I quickly sought other options with other mechanics. Most claimed the replacement would be anywhere from $400-$600.When I went to Kehoe, I asked if I could purchase the part myself and bring it to them to install. They went ahead and said they would see if they could repair the oil pan first (the threads were stripped where the drain plug screws in) before considering replacement. They also agreed to install my own purchased equipment if it came to that.As it turned out, I did need the pan replaced, so I purchased the part from AutoZone and Kehoe did the job for under $200. I was incredibly thankful that it ended up being so cheap (this included the price of the oil change plus a free tire rotation). Like many mechanics they'll top your fluids after the oil change and inflate your tires, but they also cleaned out my corroded battery terminals without my mentioning it.The only reason I would give them 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that the shop is also so busy that it could take a little while to get your car back. I dropped it off first thing in the morning at 8 am when they opened, and didn't have it ready until the next day. This can also be seen as a good thing as they are so popular in the area that a lot of people rely on them.So yes, they're highly recommended, and I would go back to them for any car issues.

I stopped in to get air in my tire on a Friday afternoon, and didn't realized they had already closed. The gentleman there said he would take care of it. I said I was very appreciative because I was heading to the coast. He told me to sit tight for a minute, then proceeded to check all tires, and filled them to the correct pressure.

Best place ever! I was visiting my family in New Orleans over the holiday when my Dad noticed a leak under the car, transmission fluid perhaps. I was desperate because I had a long drive home back to Maryland that morning, January 2.Kehoe saw me immediately and were so kind. They topped my transmission fluid, checked the rest and didn't charge me a dime!Southern hospitality to the supreme!Thank you Kehoe!!! I made it home safely without ruining my car!

We made the mistake of taking our car to a different mechanic. It was a disaster! We then brought it to Kehoe. Problem solved! Popped a tire and called AAA -- Kehoe was the closest place. Thank goodness!! Loved our experience! Although we live in Algiers Point we would want to tow our car all the way to Freret if we ever needed more tire work. That's how impressed we were! Thank you, Kehoe, for your professionalism, friendliness, and value.

Honest, experienced mechanics who love what they do and do it well. They charge the minimum if it's a minor problem and especially if you're a regular. I don't know who goes there once and doesn't become a regular. Been taking my Corollas to them since 1995.

I've been meaning to write this for a while, but Kehoe is an amazing little shop that can do big things. An owner of 4 German cars, I have historically ONLY used the dealership and I would never in a million years thought that Kehoe had any business working on Porsche or Mercedes.Alas, they are 3 blocks from me and I support local businesses, so a couple years ago I decided to try them out with some tires and was pleasantly surprised with their pricing and fast turn around, but it was Thomas and his knowledge of German cars that really impressed me that made me later return for a brake job. Because that went over smooth, I decided to see if they could tackle an electrical issue and that also went great. Then one day (after getting an astronomical quote from the dealership), I remembered how Kehoe had always got the job done and I did what no Porsche owner in his right mind would do: Trust a shop that primarily works on Hondas, Fords and Dodge for engine work on a German car.... As it turns out, you can't judge a mechanic by the cars on their lot because every time I use Kehoe, I save money. With each visit, I save time and most importantly, they fix the problem. Some people are just natural born problem solvers and if he worked at Boeing, they probably wouldn't be having all those problems with the 737 Max.

Friendly, fast, and reasonable prices. I've gone to Kehoe about 3 times now over the course of a year, and every time I've had a great experience. They're very good about fixing the problems you ask them to fix and not trying to upcharge/upsell you additional repairs. My favorite auto repair shop in NOLA.

Best local place Uptown to have your car fixed. I've come here for 6-7 years now and Shaun and the team listens and are really good at explaining problems and solutions. I absolutely trust them with all my vehicles.

These people are unreasonable, pricey, and disregarding. I will NEVER consider this shop again. The shop workers are there for a pay check not there for the understanding that people may need to rely on their ride is safe. The female is only there for the time required. I work a job that if I have to stay a little later than what is written to provide for consumers with close to nothing pay, then so be it. Money is money. See this is what happens when you over pay workers who are on it for the pay check only not the sasafe of others. Especially since we share the same road.

This place should write a book on how companies should run. Said 20 min, it took 11. Price was incredibly fair, employees were delightful. So glad to have found y'all!! Fastest tire fix I've ever seen!

Great car garage with good team of mechanics. Hourly rate is about $100. Drop it off early in the morning to get an estimate and/or same day repair.

Came in with a flat tire, and they had me out and back to work in 20 minutes. $25 to fix the flat but they also checked my other tires and were so polite. Have been recommending them to friends.

This guy cannot be trusted!! i was given a diagnosis of my car problems that would have cost $1300 for control arms and a motor mount. After looking at the car with my father, who is a mechanic, the control arms were fine and just changing the motor mount myself cost my only $50!!! Do not trust this guy

Went there to get my passenger safely mirror fixed. The mirror cost $35 online. The over all cost was $156. Just seemed very over priced. Definitely should have shopped around!

DONT DO IT, YOU *WILL* REGRET BRINGING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. They dont even give you an estimate of how much the work is going to cost first, they just do the repair and then rip you off after you have no choice but to pay for what was already done. This was my second time here today.. the first time was in January of this year and I thought $20 just to plug a tire was a bit much compared to other shops Ive been to in New Orleans, but whatever. It needed to be done. As the guy was putting the tire back on my car, we began discussing where I work on Bourbon Street and he had the nerve to ask me if there was any "powder" around. Not even joking. So I got another flat yesterday and took it there again this morning (stupid, I know) only because they are the closest shop to my house.. $26.71 was the total just to put air in a flat tire, they didnt even plug it! REALLY? Almost 30 bucks just for AIR?? I dont think so. I will drive my car until sparks are flying from the rims before I *EVER* give these CROOKS another dime of my money.

Had a nail in my tire so I brought it in. They said they couldn't patch it so I had to buy a new tire.... hmm k. Then they say they don't have the tire in stock and I would have to wait until that afternoon when they could HOPEFULLY get a tire. Said no thank you, went somewhere else, and that place patched it, which Kehoe said was impossible. So they lied to me and tried to rip me off by making me pay $100 for a new tire when all it needed was a $10 patch. Won't be back.
