I've been bringing my cars here for over 10 years and never had a problem until now. Got an oil change and tire balance and rotation on a brand new car with 4800 miles on it and at the time perfectly balanced factory wheels. Just did the service to avoid doing it later. Had to have one tire replaced due to a sidewall bubble so no big deal. I got the tire myself since the didn't carry it and brought it back to get installed. After it was done I left and took quick ride on the I-10 to check the balance and the back of my car was bouncing like a jack rabbit. I brought it back and the staff looked confused as to how the wheels weren't balanced right. It was like they didn't believe me. They tried again and it was exactly the same as before. A 9 month old car turned into a shopping cart by Goodyear. I give three stars because of all the great service I've received over the years but now I'll have to try somewhere else. I know things don't always go right the first time so I'm patient. It was the reaction that I got when I returned that irked me. I am over 50 and have had over a dozen cars and I KNOW when the wheels are not balanced but somehow my experience doesn't count because the machine says it's right. I took it to Goodyear in Metairie and paid for another balance and it was better but not right. A guy even flagged me down on the I-10 because my tire was bouncing. What's up Goodyear?

We (2 disabled women and 2 kids) were stranded 3 states away with a utility trailer blowout in what would be considered a "sketchy" neighborhood and yet the guys there were amazing. They were very friendly, helpful, kind and did their best to get us out and on our way despite the fact we were right in the middle of a tropical storm.

Today, I called in first to check if this Gentilly Goodyear store location had my vehicle size tires.And they did! I needed 4 new tires! And the salesperson Charles Scarbrough was able to work a great deal on my tires. Plus with me using my Goodyear credit card, I am eligible to receive a awesome $150 mail-in rebate from the Goodyear company! So, I received DOUBLE Discounts for my troubles.I was well please with salesperson Charles and the store manger Alex for assisting with getting my vehicle back up and running with a smooth ride.Thank you! I recommend this Gentilly(NOLA) location. They are friendly, courtesy and patience. Plus, I was told that they would have me out within a 1hour and before the time I needed to be gone! And they delivered their promise! Thank you, again!

I brought my car to Goodyear to have my tire that seemed to be going flat. The tire was checked. I was told the tire could not be fixed. I needed a new tire. I asked to see the tire. The repairs showed me bubbles on the tire indicating a leak. I chose to get another opinion. Nevertheless I was told by another tire repair shop that nothing was wrong with the tire other than it needed air.

Alex and the guys that work here are great. They are professional, efficient and overall seem to really enjoy what they are doing. I've had two experiences here with two different vehicles and have left feeling very satisfied both times.

While my son and I were driving to work (his first day), my tire burst on I-10 at the Highrise. I went to Goodyear and experienced exceptional customer service. I informed the representative (Alex) of the urgency of the situation and he graciously expedited the matter. Because of his consideration, my son and I both made it to our respective jobs, with time to spare. Kudos to Alex and the staff - I'm truly appreciative of your actions, thank you. -TPE

I only go there to get my oil changed changed or anything done to my brakes and tires. I will never go anywhere else they are 100% amazing, Kind, caring, understanding. They go above and beyond to help a lady who is by herself to make sure that she is totally fine before she leaves there store... I have to go there tomorrow for an oil change December 16th, 2021 And I'm sure they are going to treat you just as good as they always do.Melissa Jenkins Nola East.

They got me out of a bind on a Saturday afternoon in record time. Everyone was super professional and clear about the work and expectations. The building also was super clean, with a spacious, ice cold lobby which is appreciated in this summer heat! Highly recommended!

I had a flat tire and received the best service by Keaton and Kenney today. I have told three friends already about the quality customer service I received at Goodyear on Chef Hwy today. Both of these gentlemen went above and beyond not just for me but I watched them with other customers. I will be returning for all of my car services because of the great care these two gentlemen gave to me. Great job Keaton and Kenney keep up the great service you both have!

The gentlemen were absolutely wonderful. I m in Louisiana with no family so I had no one to call for help. After trying 4 other recommended tire shops in the pouring rain, I simply walked in Good Year as my last stop before going to work on a spare tire. Alex assisted me, helped me choose a set of good new tires, AND they dropped me off at work so that I wouldn t be late. They took the time to pick me up so that I could get back to my vehicle with a smile. They are Angels and I am truly grateful.

This is actually the best goodyear I have been to. The manager has a positive & helpful attitude & seemingly runs the store quite efficient. I have seen a few customers get restless, but i think the techs are working as fast & efficiently as they can. So i wait patiently & i dnt mind waiting bcuz rushing these guys can cause mistakes 2 happen & i want my car done correctly. I have no complaints when it comes to this store.

These guys were super helpful. They went out of their way to to make sure everything was done right and safely. They even offered me coffee, I told them I prefer daiquiris wich just so happens to be right around the corner from here. Perfect combo! Thanks again guys for not letting my Sunday suck so bad!

I went in with what I thought was a nail in my tire. They told me the tire stem was jammed into the sensor and they didn't know if they could fix it by closing. I had no way to get home, but they said they'd drive me home and pick me up in the morning. They managed to replace the stem while I waited and didn't even charge me a dime! The guys were really nice and didn't treat me like a stupid female, which I really appreciate.

Second time I've been to this shop for a nail in my tire and they took care of me so fast and so cheap. The first time I went it was 10 minutes before they were about to close on a Saturday and they still took care of me fast and with a smile. Convenient location to the Bywater and Lower 9th.

I walked in without an appointment to get my tire looked at and they got to me very quick. The service was excellent, quick, and honest. Everyone is very friendly. I will be going back whenever I'm in need of service again. Thank you!

Well I had called for an oil change they told me 2 hours which was fine. When I got there the boys behind the counter were having their own conversation and one of them were going to be the one to work on my car. Little later they said they couldn't rotate my tires because they were low however I just got those tires from goodyear with warranty last March so they were trying to just sell me stuff and not do work. After it was done which was about maybe less than an hour my white car had that guys oily hand prints on my roof on my door on the side like how hard is it to wipe your hands and clean the clients car off I'm still paying for the service. Needless to say that place is lazy by their attitude and the way they great your car. I will not be going back. And if my tires needed to be changed when I told them I had warranty they didn't offer or even look into what they could do. They just try to make money off you

The tire I wanted they didn't carry, which was fine so I went with the next better tire. No big deal. They put my new tire on quickly, great! But...didn't air up the new tire, and put my hubcap on, which requires a lug wrench to remove, over the stem so I couldn't air it up myself. Didn't notice they'd not only left it flat, they also didn't put the stem cap on it once I was able to get to an open Autozone and begged the guys in there to help me take the hubcap off. Got it off, then drove to a gas station to lose a dollar in an air pump that didn't work. I'm supposed to drive 600 miles at 6am tomorrow morning and I can't til I get my brand new tire aired up!!

Showed up like 15 minutes to closing time. My truck was making weird sounds and doing jerky motions. Just needed the codes ran on the truck so I could see what's going on and if I needed to get it towed back to the house. They didn't even give me the time of day. Said that there wasn't a technician there that could look at the truck. Severely disappointed in the service here.

Excellent customer service! From the time I dropped off my car to the time I picked it up. The repair on my tire has held up nicely as well. Very satisfied with this location. I will be using them again.

They were very nice and they did a good job. It isn't too far from my house and they give you a good product. Prices are reasonable too

This is truly HORRIBLE service. We went in because our car was having slow leaks in the tires. They told us it would require 4 new tires to solve the problem. A week after 4 new tires they were all less than 15 lbs. of pressure. We returned and they said they would add a sealant around the rim and that should fix it. I requested that they grind/buff the edge of the rim and they told us they can't do that and don't know how. I thought that was weird. But we accepted the sealant attempt. A week later my girlfriend drove the car after work and the tires were low, so low that one had to be replaced because the threads were showing. Again they refused to grind the rims and when they replaced the tire (ONLY BECAUSE WE HAD BOUGHT THE ROAD HAZARD INSURANCE, OTHERWISE WE WOULD HAVE BEEN SCREWED) They made us purchase another road hazard package. Today yet again all 4 tires are extremely low on air. We will not be returning to this Goodyear for service. And after this experience probably not another Goodyear anywhere. Avoid them like the plague. I suspect every car "needs new tires" and receives no support after.

Great service. The employees, Charles I think was his name was very helpful. Also, the technician explained in detail the issues my vehicle had.
