One word, unprofessional. Speaking from a customer service pov I was extremely disappointed by my experience. Go spend your hard earned and or insurance money else where.2 weeks after I had my car towed to the establishment I received a call given a verbal estimate of the damage's with labor. I didn't have an issue with that until they told me I would have to wait until the following month to be serviced and that I would have to come get my car. This was odd to me bc my car was not drivable and if you didn't have the time to fix my car why would you accept a $250 dollar deposit & allow me to have it towed in the first place ??Nonetheless, It seemed to me that once the owner realized it was a big job being funded out of pocket he went back on many of the things he stated to me from our initial conversation.Through out the entire process I was very patient and respectful but that was not reciprocated on the owner's behalf. Craig was so rude the last time we spoke. He unnecessarily tried to belittle and disrespect me when I was nothing but RESPECTFUL to him and his wife. Very unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth.

Really nice people at Ciji s! I was stranded, and Connor gave me a lift home. Craig was in charge of my repair, and it came out less than their quote. Very happy to find good car service.

It s actually called CIJI s(family owned). The name is pro tech but it s been bought out by a lovely couple, Craig and CIJI. Honestly, I ve never had a more wonderful experience at a mechanic s. Craig was informative, quick on his feet, and downright awesome. Ciji is the best, super friendly and phenomenal. The prices are super reasonable, and they definitely know what to do. It took a couple of hours for them to fix our car, and now it s perfect. Definitely worth it, would come back here if my car has any problems in the future. And I DEFINITELY recommend you to take your car there!!

Amazing business. I went with some issues with my starter/engine (but wasn't sure what the actual problem was for a while), and they helped me out so much. Being someone that knows nothing of cars, on top of being a woman, I feel that men at auto shops either don't take me seriously, brush off my concerns or take advantage of me. Ciji's did the exact opposite of that. I felt seen, taken care of, and listened to. They went above and beyond, providing excellent and very friendly service. Reasonably priced too. I will absolutely be back for any automotive needs in the future, and will wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for top notch, quality auto service in the city.

This place right here is so friendly and so awesome. Me and my wife were stranded. My brakes went out on my Harley Davidson and even though they really don t work on Harley Davidson s, they made sure to go above and beyond to make sure that I was able to fix my bike and get back on the road they went so far as to take me to a shop that had nothing to do with them to help get me a brake line which they didn t have to do and got me back on the road they didn t ask me for one dollar even though I offered they said it was their pleasure to be able to help. I just wanna say that this place right here is awesome and if you re thinking about using thier service they will take care of youService: Brake service & repair

I am very thankful to have found this place for my son who is away at college. Craig was about as honest a person that you could find; so much so, that after his full diagnostic, he removed the brand new parts that were changed unnecessarily so that I wouldn't be charged for parts that weren't needed. Car was sideswiped while parked and the bumper needed repair and paint. Johnny promised me it would be done in a day and a half. #yeahright. I was surprised when he called me back within 24 hours...Good as new!!! Finally a Auto repair Shop that keeps their word.

Ciji and Craig have been the best! I live in the neighborhood and found them for convenience. Over the last 1.5 years I have brought them my car several times for either routine maintenance or when issues arrive. They are reliable, honest and always good at communicating. They get my vehicle back to me quickly and have never tried to up-sell me on unnecessary services. There has been a few occasions that something minor needed to be done and they did not even charge me! I cannot recommend them highly enough. I feel so lucky to have found such a great repair shop and I am so happy to support them!! Definitely give them a chance to earn your business

This place is great, I highly recommend them! The shop is owned by a local couple; they're honest & will take good care of you. I'm so glad I went there & I will keep going back. They really are the best!

I've known the owners for many years, amazing people! After recently moving back to the city, I purchased a 2016 Chevy Silverado. Months later, my A/C goes out. Apparently this is somewhat of a common issue on the 2014-2018 models. After being told by many Chevrolet dealerships that it would be weeks to months before they could service my vehicle and honor my warranty, I reconnected with Craig, one of the owners. I was super pleased to learn that he and his family had purchased their own auto and motorcycle repair shop. Fyi...he's always been a car buff and motorcycle enthusiasts . I brought my truck in early the next morning, had it diagnosed, parts ordered and repaired the same day. Superb service! Would give 10 stars but Google is only allowing 5 . Would definitely recommend!Service: Air conditioning

The owner of Pro-Tech was very polite and professional. My wife and I are graduate students here in New Orleans and just recently moved here. Our car was having issues, so we found Pro-Tech online, as they were closest to us. The staff was fantastic, and although they were extremely busy, took time to explain the issue, quote us a price, and a time frame. Well they were wrong, they finished before the time quoted us, and adjusted the price down to reflect labor.I highly recommend Pro-Tech, and will be taking my car back if it ever has any issues. They do offer free towing if you are having your car fixed there, which could be a great help.The owner and the staff take pride in their work, and were all around awesome!!!!

The whole team was professional and have a positive attitude. I had body work done and Ryan did an excellent job. He also detailed my vehicle afterwards. If I need any work on my Tahoe from an oil change, etc I'll definitely go to Cijis. Thanks for the awesome attitude and work!!

I don't know how anyone has ever had issue with this shop, and I can only assume it may have been before it was bought by Craig and Ciji. I have never been to a more honest repair shop in my life, and they are incredibly personable and pleasant and recognize you by your name when you call. I have taken both of my vehicles to them over the last 2 years with excellent work. On THREE separate occasions, I have taken in my vehicle with problems that rendered it UNDRIVEABLE. All three times, they put it on the lift, and were able to detect a problem that otherwise would not have been able to be diagnosed by me. They diagnosed a problem that was simple and only required a simple adjustment or replaced screw or bolt. Most remarkably, they DID IT FREE OF CHARGE AND ON THE SAME DAY. I have also spent a fair amount of money there on necessary and expected repairs and have been very pleased with their work. I have never felt that I was being upcharged or taken advantage of. Their honesty and professionalism is unrivaled. They have my business for life.

I had a slew of problems at this shop. Not only did my repairs take three days longer than expected, and not only did I have to badger him for information about my car, but after it was finally completed my car came out of the shop with an engine problem that was not there before.So I brought the car back to the shop so that they could correct whatever had been done, since a mechanic had already admitted to being at fault. After digging around, the owner quoted me 250 dollars to fix damage that was not there when the car arrived at his shop. I told him that I did not want him to proceed with the repairs and asked if I could get my car that evening. He said, "yes."So then I took an uber to his shop in the middle of a huge rain storm. I get there, soaking wet, and irritated that I would have to get the repairs done elsewhere only to find out from a mechanic that the owner was wrong and that my car was not ready to be picked up. The owner was not at all apologetic about my inconvenience.Finally, I go the next day to get my car and the thing barely starts. Somehow it's even worse than before. I'm extremely disappointed and angry that TWICE my car has emerged from his shop in worse shape than it went in.At worst, this shop is operated by guys who make their money off of breaking people's cars so they will need to get more work done, and at best this shop is operated by guys who don't communicate with each other or their clients and are hugely unprofessional. Either way they get one star from me.

I had an AC issue for several weeks and I delayed getting it fixed because I thought it would cost a fortune...brought my car to pro tech and less than a few hours later...I had cold air!!! Just a minor issue of adding freon and they didn't even want to charge me!I am set for the summer thanks to Pro-Tech!Great experience!Also, I got there a bit early and they weren't opened yet..but a nice young man named Brad was very nice and got me situated so I didn't have to wait until they officially opened.

I went in to see exactly what was wrong with my headlights and was helped by Craig. He was able to determine the bulbs were completely burned out and instead of upselling me on what they had in stock, he gave me the suggestion of purchasing a better bulb for my headlights online and showed me how to install them. Best service I've ever had with a body shop!

This was the first time I brought my car any where other than the dealership. The service was prompt and friendly. I got a tune up and was very happy. My car was returned clean and quickly, most importantly I did not cost as much as the dealership. In am very happy I chose ProTech and I will be a repeat customer.

I found Ciji's around the corner from the bookstore, and I brought my car in for brake work and an oil change. They were wonderful, did an excellent job on my car, and were very reasonably priced. I refrained from giving these guys a one-star review because I don't actually know if they do good work. What I do know is that I went into their shop over two weeks ago and they took down all my information to give me an estimate on a job. It was pretty simple, took about 5 minutes out of my morning. I was told I'd hear back later that day via a phone call and an email. Never heard from them that day, but it wasn't a huge deal, as it wasn't urgent. Fast forward nearly two weeks to the day. Still hadn't heard back, so I gave them a call and followed up. When I stated my information (name, make and model, etc), they didn't seem to have any recollection of who I was or what my quote was about. So I gave them all the info over again and, like the first time, the answer was that they'd get back to me later that day. It's now two days since I made that phone call and I haven't heard anything.I hate to give a bad review to a locally owned and run business. But when it takes over two weeks to do something that it took the dealership less than 5 minutes to do, I have no choice.

My experience with this company and the owner by the name Johnny Fassbender has been at its absolute worst for me as a customer. For starters, he is a very unprofessional and rude as an owner. I,to this day, have a 2001 Silverado that needed calipers, brakes and disks replacement. Given the circumstances of my truck, I explained that bolts are having difficulty coming off and would need to be cut off. With no question he assured me job could be done the day of start. My expectations weren't that high and I understand it wouldn't be done the day of,no problem.Several days pass and no phone call. I called Johnny and he pretends to not know who I am. Once we established me as a customer he assures me job will be done the next day. I physically walk to the shop the next day, job is not done and no one knows why. More days pass with no phone call. Once I contact Johnny again he has no clue who I am. Obviously, not a customer at this point again.He tells me that the brake pedal is now messed up, I've never had a brake pedal issue at all. Assuming now that they have done something and need to fix that end. Two days pass, no phone call. Today I walked to the shop, truck is not there, Johnny is. I approached him and asked what's going on and where's my truck. It's been taken from first party and dropped off at a third party without my consent. ILLEGAL. I told him to get my truck back to the shop TODAY.He blew a gasket and started talking to me as If I were a worthless customer and showing me his unethical representation of his own company.My bill almost a thousand dollars which he wants in cash and my brakes are not working properly. A mechanics lien nor contract to work was signed. I am seeking legal assistance and will do everything possible to make sure this is taken care of the right way.Looking forward to hearing another juvenile response from the owner on his opinion about another unhappy and dissatisfied customer.

I was visiting New Orleans when my Jeep broke down. It wouldn't idle at all and I had a pretty good idea of what the problem was but didn't have the tools/part to fix it. Luckily, Pro Tech was right up the street and I was able to get her there.First off, the mechanic came back early from his lunch break because I was in a rush (I had to get out of town that day and hadn't called them until that morning) and diagnosed my vehicle within 30 minutes of me arriving there. As I had suspected, my Idle Air Control motor wasn't working. They didn't have the part at the shop, but had it delivered and installed within an hour.This was all on very short notice and they took time out of their very busy days to help me out because I was in a rush to get home. I needed to get my Jeep fixed fast, they cut their breaks short to help me. They didn't have the part on site, they had it delivered and installed within an hour.On top of it all, the owner (Johnny Fassbender) and company were very friendly and communicative throughout it all. He even gave me a recommendation for a poboy shop down the street that was delicious.OVERALL:4.9/5 stars. They lose .1 points because the magazines in their waiting room were kind of dull. Get some Road & Track mags or Motor Trends, Johnny! Haha.

When it was Protech Collision I always brought my car and had the best service. Now under CiJi I didn't like my experience. They seem to think it's ok to take your information. Leave your car (how you get around) there for a week only to give you a quote. Knowing you dropped your car to get worked on only to be told days later you have to pay to begin the job. Protech checked your car, gave you a same day quote and if you agreed, told you when to bring your car and pay when uou picked it up. Than, when I went to pick up my car it had scratches all over the hood. I ended up having to turn my lease in late without the body work I came to get done. Go somewhere else!

I love protech! Me and my wife about a year ago, traveled to new orleans from Illinois in our vintage diesel mercedes ( I know, a little crazy, but we love the car). On pulling into new orleans, our car completely died from the harmonic balancer having spun off. Our mechanic back home had not done the installation properly and it lasted long enough for us to get to new orleans. We were towed to protech on the advice of the tow driver, and I was extremely skeptical, but what can you do. I thought for sure we were going to get taken for a ride in new orleans. Johnny did a great job and had us up and running in no time and the price was more than reasonable. Working on old diesel mercedes is no joke, but they had the expertise that is hard to find anywhere. I drive a lot of miles and have put 30,000 miles on johnny's repair and its still going strong! We are coming back to new orleans this fall and this was such a memorable experience for us that we will probably stop by and say hi to johnny. Thanks protech!

Really great experience with Pro Tech. I went to have a nail hole plugged and I was in and out in less than twenty minutes. Also, I called around beforehand and learned that ProTech has one of the least expensive plugs in the city... everyone else wanted $20+tax and ProTech only charges $12. I took several cards because I plan to recommend them.

They lied and tried to scam me out my engine. Was super nice over the phone while giving me quotes, then when I went to pick up my car they had the worst attitude. My engine was fine btw
