Called at around 8pm to check availability as we were too tired to reach our destination, had the best gal find us a room! Fairly certain her name was Jenny, and her customer service was beautiful. We arrived 30 minutes after the call. She had a room for us all set, nonsmoking, clean, comfy bed on the 1st floor too. The place was quiet, and in the morning, a nice man was attending the lobby for breakfast (juices, coffee, waffles, breakfast sandwiches etc), we had the best conversation with him. Nice folks run this place, and that makes a difference. It isn't a 5 star hotel but it has 5 star staff and better than average accommodations!

We stayed two nights. The staff, all of them, were extremely helpful, kind and explained what we could do in Natchitoches. The room was clean, and the location perfect. We had the best bed and pillowsWe've stayed in more expensive places where we didn't sleep as well.Lighting was excellent in the parking area.Everything worked in the room.We would definitely recommend this motel in Natchitoches.

Nasty, toilet filthy, stains all over counter tops and bathtub had fresh cigarette ashes. The smell was awful. Hire professionals not kids. The lady at the front counter put all blame on the new cleaning staff... which I understand, but owners and managers are the ones to blame. Go behind your staff in every room before renting them out. Wont be coming back

The bed was clean and comfortable but there was no TP, there was hair in the sink and shower, my socks got dirty walking across their floor and breakfast was non-existent.People were friendly... And the parking was good.If you can afford a bit more, go anywhere else.

This days inn by Wyndham is a disgrace to the name. First room was disgusting. Urine all over the toilet mascara and splash marks, and God knows what else on the mirror went back to the office and was given a second room, which is just as worse as the first. The third room, both trash cans are full of trash. There s black hair in the bathroom floor. The mirror once again has splash marks all over it. It appears that these rooms were not cleaned at all. May be a quick vacuum and a change of the bed. Wondering if the sheets are even clean. No The front desk was very apologetic, however it s a little disheartening to look at three different rooms and none are clean. It appears that they need to find new housekeeping and management need to do some spot checking along the way. These employees are getting paid to do a job. However, it appears they are just getting paid.Rooms: Filthy, disgusting, unsanitary.

Had to visit 3 rooms to find one with no urine on the toilet from previous guests. Finally found a room that had clean toilets, but guess what, trash was left in trash cans in the room from the previous guest! Front desk clerk was very apologetic, but was not his fault. Apparently no management involvement in the property and no Wyndham involvement. How can owners/company not know or care what is going on on the property?

Not only did I wait over 45 mins to check in. I was being checked into someone e se's reservation. No ID was checked even though I tried to hand it to them. Simply asked for my first name. Almost charged over $500 for a 6 night stay (my reservation was for 1 night) my card luckily declined it. I was then given the key to a room that did not work. A lady standing outside said it wasn't working because it was her room. Went back to the front office to overhear that room was not occupied but has not been cleaned. I was given another room. It smelled like mold. The toilet would not flush. It was dirty, floor, doors, microwave and crumbs all over on the TV stand. The slip resistant mat in the bath was coming apart, I almost slipped and upon doing so I pulled the mat back because white particles were floating up into the bathtub, to see nasty mold and grime all over it. I eventually was switched to another room above the lobby, the "better" rooms.Only to discover the toilet was dirty, urine was all over it, there was a white stain on the night stand next to the bed.The only positive experience was Kayla. She was nice and tired to accommodate to the best of her abilities. She has to deal with this level of complaints from not only me but other (the reason I was waiting 45mins to check in). While a manager was nowhere on site. |left early and got a room across the way. Would not recommend this location at all

My husband booked 2 rooms for our return trip home from Orange Beach, Alabama. When we pulled up we realized this motel was not as advertised. We didn't take anything in because it looked extremely sketchy. We ran to get dinner and there was a police raid happening as we walked back. We were scared and the room was So Gross- Rust all over lamp, light fixture in bathroom falling down, bathtub surface all peeling off, dirty rug, no wifi, bottom of door kicked in, etc... The photos online have to be 20+ years old. My husband was exhausted so we decoded to bring nothing in due to our fear of bugs. After sitting on the white comforter for a few minutes, we saw bedbugs crawling all over it. We caught one, took it to the office, showed it to the reception worker, and were promised a refund when we told her we were leaving. My poor husband drove us 6 more hours home because we could not find another hotel. I called the hotel the day after we got home because they charged us $226.00. She assured me it would be refunded. I called several more times when our money was Not Refunded. The manager refused to speak to me. I made a formal complain to The Wyndham hotels. They assured me the manager would do the right thing and refund our money. By the way, we got charged more than they said we would! I also called the Better Business Bureau. I called the motel one last time and got yelled at and was told, "We ain't got no bedbugs, we had Orkin come check". They do have bedbugs and roaches. We never heard back from anyone and they did not refund our money. We were there less than 10 minutes. We just adopted 2 boys and wanted this trip to be special. This Motel experience was a Nightmare. Do Not Stay there!

We asked for a non smoking room. The first room they put us in smelled like smoke, had stains on the blankets, and the water coming out of the faucet was brown. The second room had stains on the bedding, mold on the baseboards and spider webs on the wall. The manager was not in so we called her the next day and she showed no compassion or concern about the condition of the rooms. We even called corporate and never heard back from them.

The staff is super friendly, the pool looked inviting, our room was clean, the air worked, it's definitely not a luxury hotel, or anything fancy not fancy, the coffee was good, so for the price, I am satisfied. The breakfast was lacking, but IHop and Whataburger is within walking distance. The location was close to the expressway. This was both a business trip and a getaway trip, because my husband was able to take care of his clients and visit with friends.Nearby activities: It was close to the college, to the expressway, and restaurants.

Literally stopped just to rest for a few hours and didn't want to spend a bunch for a few hours of sleep, no frills. Slept with the light on, not clean enough to take a shower and got out after about 5 hours. Do not recommend. Not the dirtiest we've seen, but very close to the bottom. Looks nothing like the advertised photos, stained tub/shower, pillows, and comforter.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Booked the room a month in advance for 1 King bed non smoking for 3 nights, When I arrived it took 30 minutes to get a room that I didn't book, instead I got a room that smelled of cigarettes with 2 queen beds. Had to ask for toilet paper because there was only 1/4 of a roll when I got in the room, the bedding had ink stains, the pillows looked as though they were run over by a mack truck, there was no ice bucket only the lid to it, coffee maker but no condiments for it. The tub had a plug that was way to small had to use kids underwear to plug it to take a bath, and to top it off when I returned from shopping my card wouldn't work in the door so I had to go to the office and get another one. Needless to say I didn't even stay the 3rd night. I will say the lady working the office "Donna" was very niceRooms: See above comments.

I ve read reviews from 3+yrs ago and 99% of them are negative- I wish I d read them before I Booked this room. We will never stay here again. Roaches, dirty bath tub, nasty refrigerator, a big spider in the bathroom this morning. It was gross the legs were hairy it really scared me. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The TV only had minimum volume. We couldn t hear it. We came here last minute for a funeral and we re gone all day today -otherwise after staying the first night we would ve checked out today. I don t have roaches in my home and it s clean. I expect the same when renting a room. Lots of work needs to be done - there s a place where the carpet is completely gone - there are other places here that are within the same price range - I will report this place to the health dept when I get home

Terrible. Front desk guy Dennis does a fantastic job considering the team he is delt with. He is very patient with everyone complaints which are coming from the lack of top down management. Our room had a shattered TV(good luck with march madness), no shower curtain, and short towels. This tells me that house keeping is not doing their job. And management must be okay with it considering Dennis is running all over the place dealing with their lack of duty.So be prepared to get just a little less than you payed for(only $100 per night) . But don t blame the guy at the front desk. It s not his job.

HORRIBLE !! save you $$ or spend a lil more and go to a better hotel . Birthday weekend and it was terrible had to switch 3x bc the rooms were filthy not even touched by housekeeping , our room key never stayed active, the bed was uncomfortable and dipped . The young lady in registration bless her heart she really was trying and was so kind and apologetic .. it apparently happened to several rooms that day, Manager was suppose to call yet 4 days later not heard a word .

Room was fairly clean. Specifically asked for a room with a bath; one, tub had no way to fill it, two, the tub was either filthy or was really messed up anf three, there was long black hair in the tub and on the bathroom floor. ( Neither of us have long black hair) Their was dirt behind the bed, and not meaning a little dirt, talking about a lot and trash under bed, like cigarette boxes and such. I would not reccommendvstaying here!!! We were in a bind, no rooms elsewhere at a reasonable price.

Stayed here this past weekend and it was pretty gross. I have pictures l wanted to upload. Urine on and around the toilet which had rings of residue inside, stains and hair on the towels, sticky crud on the iron, toothpaste splatter on the faucet and mirror, dingy bed sheets, and the place is badly outdated. I had to buy cleaning and and sanitation supplies so we could use the facilities. We assumed Wyndham would be decent, especially when Wyndham charged us $190.00 for one night. Pitiful!! No hot breakfast as advertised, you only get Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches and blueberry muffins. No juice , just lukewarm coffee. Granted the staff was nice and courteous, but officials need to step in and save this place which is in a great location. Whataburger is being built next door and they should really step it up to better serve customers when the are charging that much of a price.

I mean Do Not stay here this place is horrible. Upon entry of the room it seems it was half clean. I Opened the ice box it wasn t clean. Lastly but not least the Bathroom. When I say this bathroom was horrible I ll let the pictures explain it much better. I asked the front desk for cleaning supplies and they said they didn t keep any upfront. I only stayed here because of work so Spend the extra $20-40 bucks and get a better hotel than this one.

The stay was disappointingWe've stayed here in the past because the price was good for a clean decent stay and the location is good.(walking distance to the French Market)We rented 3 rooms over the 4th of July holiday weekend. Friday -Monday. The accommodations have deteriorated since our last stay. I do understand the plight of the pandemic on businesses as well as unemployment payments keeping people home.We rented (304,306,402).Rooms were fairly clean upon check in.Bathrooms needed new shower curtains (especially 304) and a good deep cleaning. No phone in 306, pillows were not full sized, toilet ran all night(jiggle handle) ,bathtub didn't drain well.Day two. Lady cleaned the room and left no towels. Day 3 only 2 housekeepers showed up, No cleaning of most of the 65 rooms, no towels and room key cards were disabled...I wish this review was better. Location is great.. Pool is nice. Gazebo is decent. The air conditioning did work well in all of our rooms and the front desk staffGeorgia and Grant were pleasant and did what they could do to help. Prayers that this lodging be restored to its former days or made better.

The reason my stay was poor was one reason and one reason only when I woke up the next morning I had been eaten up by bed bugs presumably. In total scattered across my body was a little over 20 welts. I m glad I only had the room rented for 1 night due to another reservation I had made prior at a different place. And even more glad I didint bring my suitcase in with me. But other than the bites the beds were very nice beds and the rooms had been recently remodeled. I normally check the seams of any bed I sleep in but between the combo of being tired and how nice the room was I didint bother.

We came to town from E TX to see Christmas lights. Had two rooms next to each other. Checked in around 8 PM. Keys wouldn't work to one room. Turns out it hadn't been "cleaned" so we moved to another room. Knobs were broken off the air conditioner one of the "clean" rooms so couldn't turn it on. But it was full of mold so would be terrified to use it anyway...totally unhealthy. Phone didn't work. Coffee pot was missing the pot in both rooms. Floors in both rooms and bathrooms were filthy. Dust on baseboards an inch thick.. It was so bad, we left that night and drove back home. Not sure how this place passes health inspections. One lady was working so she had to lock the front desk when she had to take care of customers. She was courteous and didn't appear surprised when we told her we were checking out. Said we'd receive a credit in a few days,, which we did, but she didn't apologize for the condition of the place. Stay far away from this motel.

*Full Disclosure: This is very much a 2-Star Hotel. Do not have high expectations.*Being a self-employed OTR driver, I find that my bottom line appreciates not staying at "nicer" hotels that I'm accustomed to. So, I've been exploring a cheap-but-still-chain option (because I've it engrained in my mind that they're regulated somewhat better than independently-owned motels, which I also acknowledge probably isn't always true.)The lady at the front office was delightful when speaking to, and addressed all concerns that I had. The room wasn't perfect in any way, shape, or form. There were minor issues throughout the room that some general handyman work could fix, linens smelled and appeared clean but had visible stains that could stand to be replaced, the floor was sloped towards the back of the room... I could go on. As far as the exterior is concerned, the stairs up to the second floor showed signs of rot and age, you could throw a pressure washer at the entire location, and the location is somewhat old and could use a refresh. All things considered, this location was better than the last Days Inn I stayed at based on two metrics (really just one): the friendliness of the young lady at the front desk, as well as her attitude towards my requests for accommodations/reassurance in my lodging of choice. The rooms were of similar quality/condition.At the end of the day, it beats sleeping in the back of a truck and comes with a bathroom. I gave it a 4-Star review overall, due to my inexperience with inexpensive lodging - I only have one other Days Inn stay to compare it to.

Dirty bathrooms. Room was dirty. Lights in the bathroom didn't work. Dried food in the drawer. One room, nearby, had about 12 people in it and took over the whole pool. Had to ask for towels. Left a day early. This is how bad it was. Told the receptionist about it and never once seemed interested in making it a better stay or a refund.

This place was horrible, we had a booking and the lady at the front desk made us wait for 2 hours bc the system wasn t working and kept telling us that we would have to pay again. Then was extremely rude to us when we asked her any question. Her name was debbie and she could ve been nicer considering we re three young women, this was our first experience booking a hotel and did not come off as rude at all to her.
