My experience with the Frank Nettles business was quite a disappointment. I was mislead by the previous reviews listed.I am now surprised that a local dealership even lead me to them.For me the business was all talk and no walk. Yes Frank offers a very thorough explanation about your situation with advice, but in my case did not follow up with a fix. What is advertised is expertise in auto air conditioning and service.First negative sign being in business for as long as it has been, there is not many reviews for Franks setting of Twin Cities although a good rating oddly.Second sign arriving punctual and I am mistakenly accused of being late for drop off? My vehicle was left overnight for digital detection freon leak test and fix. He called following up with diagnosis, price, but advice?Within the call, he stated that my vehicle had been driven for a thorough overall inspection? Wait that was not explained beforehand. I brought it there for the freon leak detection! Not a joy ride.All in all he stated that an evaporator core had a large leak inside cabin, and compressor a small leak only when I questioned about the compressor though.A new heater core was advised, due to dash having to be removed for evaporator replacement.MAJOR CATCH he stated they do not disassemble dashboards.Ok so why was this not explained before drop off? Top it off he recommended he do a recharge with sealant that most likely would fix issue if done twice. Why would you do a customer like such knowing that would not be a fix?My vehicle had two other minor issues that were obviously overlooked in his thorough inspection. Yet he sprayed a black painted substance to protect my battery post? I know a serpentine belt was needed nothing mentioned.His calculations of my air conditioning fix was approximately three to four grand. All the vehicle needed was simply a new compressor and recharge which is now complete.Frank drove the vehicle a total of fifteen miles odometer for nothing even in rain. A total of three and a half Benjamin Franklin down the drain with a sealant charge only lasting a week.I would never obtain a diagnosis anywhere if I was thoroughly explained beforehand a fix may not be granted.Service: Auto A/C recharge

Great place and people if you can actually get your car seen. Had a miscommunication with scheduling an appointment and couldn't get my breaks done. They also don't have a waiting area. Car drop off only.

Frank, Z & Zack have been the guys that have helped us through the years. They have always been fair and go the extra mile! Nettles isn t the cheapest place to have a vehicle repaired but it s guaranteed to be repaired correctly! I had taken my F150 to 5 different mechanics that scratched their heads and said they didn t have a clue. Frank had me up and running in less than 24hrs! It s still running strong over a year later!

Great service from Frank Nettles. Worked on my sister's car, redoing the engine. The day after we got it back it had another small issue that they fixed at no cost and did some small AC work on my own car in under an hour.

I was passing through town on my way to Dallas when my engine began acting up. I called Frank, and they were able to see me immediately. They gave my car a quick diagnosis and were able to get me back on the road in no time. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. I would recommend their excellent service to anyone in the Monroe area.

I would highly recommend Frank and his crew to anyone that needs automotive maintenance. I picked up my car from Frank today, and the ride was phenomenal! I was thoroughly impressed.However, the smoothness of my car was not the only thing that made such an impression on me. A few weeks ago, I had hurriedly installed a new battery and neglected to apply grease to the terminals. When I got home today and popped the hood, I noticed that they had done this for me. One less thing, right?Seriously, take your car here!

I was working in the Monroe area when my power steering started to give me problems. I googled some places and just happened to choose Franks and was super glad I did! Pat was super friendly and very helpful. He solved the problem and I was back on the road. I highly recommend this place! It s also a very nice and clean place!

Frank Nettles provided me an honest and knowledgeable assessment of my new car, potentially saving me from huge future repair costs. Within seconds he spotted the fact that the previous owner had not had the oil changed adequately. He took the time to explain the problem to me and I left knowing I had found the mechanic I wanted to work on my cars in the years ahead.

I am very pleased with the service Frank provided me. He performed a pre-purchase inspection on a used vehicle I was considering buying while I am living in another state. He sent me videos of the car's condition and a picture of his completed checklist, along with a verbal description of the car's status. The entire process went very smooth and I can not say enough good things about him and his business!

Some of the best mechanics and technicians in Monroe. All are thoroughly trained and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to vehicle maintenance.I have always had both of my vehicles serviced and repaired at this shop and both of them have over 200,000 miles and are still running strong!Thank you guys and keep up the good work!- Trent C

Great place to go! Super friendly people that are very thorough in explaining to you what the issue is. I have been super satisfied with everything in my first few experiences, and they are now my mechanic for any issue. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to the work! I am only rating them five stars because there is no option for anymore!

Hybrids are challenging on so many levels, especially once they start to burn oil after ~250,000. Mine does, and I let the oil level drop way too low when life got busy, and the computer system in the car went completely off the wall! Every warning light lit up at the same time ... scary. Brought it to Frank Nettles and they told me they don t really do hybrids when it s a computer issue, but they took care of the oil and cleaned up some battery corrosion ... and everything reverted back to normal. Instead of taking one look at a hybrid and saying, We don t do those, the folks here did an incredibly thorough job and took care of what they could and ended up fixing the whole situation and saving me so much money. The pricing is excellent and I did not feel taken advantage of, as many people with car trouble have experienced. This is an excellent place to bring your vehicle.

My Family are loyal customers of Mr. Frank due to his affordable cost... discount when you pay with cash.. and even FREE SERVICE!!! We brought our Kia Sorento by the shop to replace the starter... again. Of course warranty is good for a year. We were 2 weeks after warranty. Mr. Frank fought with them and won the battle. So all we were going to pay was labor fee. My husband went to pick up car.... no charge!!!! Thank you for taking such care of your customers with quality and affordability!

We take our Mercedes to this business. They do great work. They aren't cheap, but they are good. You get what you pay for folks. They know about ALL makes and models too. Avoid dealership B.S. and take your car to Frank Nettles Automotive

Recently, my 2004 GMC Envoy started running a little rough, losing power, and had a noticeable reduction in fuel economy. I do know a bit about maintenance and sometimes do some of my own minor repairs. I used an app on my phone and a module connected to my diagnostic port to check for trouble codes. The trouble codes indicated that it might be a stopped up catalytic converter. This made me nervous as the cost of replacement can be pretty high for some vehicles. I did my homework and used Google and You Tube to research the repair process and price range for this repair. Knowing that this repair required getting under the vehicle and might require some tools I did not have, I decided to again search Google for reviews of local repair facilities. While several had pretty good reviews, "Frank Nettles Automotive" stuck out due to their positive reviews and I remembered years before being told they were good.Now, after using them personally, I would have to agree! They ran the test on the vehicle which were described on You Tube, confirmed that it was the catalytic converter, gave me a price quote that was toward the lower end of the reasonable price range for my vehicle found on the internet and then completed the repairs that day getting me back on the road. They did mention a few things that while not critical I might want to have done to my vehicle due to it's age and condition, but their was no pressure or attempt to convince me that my life was in jeopardy if I did not do these repairs.I walked away feeling a since of trust in "Frank Nettles Automotive," and the next time my vehicle needs additional repairs or someone is asking for recommendations on a repair facility I now know who I will recommend!

Mr. Nettles has worked on vehicles for me and a dear friend of mine and his family on multiple occasions and we never leave without feeling 100% satisfied. I'm no mechanic, and it is written all over my face when "shop talk" goes on around me, but Mr. Nettles has always taken the time to explain what was going on to me so I really understand. Every time I leave his shop I feel like someone that truly cares about my safety on the road has taken care of me.Mr. Nettles has a customer for life because he has earned my trust after each encounter at his shop. I highly recommend!

Very friendly and honest staff. Frank and his staff were up front and did what they said they were going to do. I was personally impressed with the emphasis Frank placed on professional improvement and training. Frank's walls are full of training certificates and Neville High School memorabilia :). Thank you for taking care of my family during our short time in Monroe.

My car had been sitting in disuse for awhile. When I took it to Frank Nettles Automotive I was terrified about the cost. Now my car runs like a dream and, as Mr. Pat would say, I m not at home rocking back and forth and crying into my Ramen Noodles(Beef).This is your mechanic now. True story.
