Joey and everyone at Star Auto went above and beyond for us! Highly recommend! Good people, fair prices and honest with what you do and don t need. They came highly recommend to me and now I am passing that forward. Our car was out of warranty but had an issue with our brakes that was complex so we got an initial quote from the manufacturer/dealer - which was astronomical! I called Joey and he assessed the situation, gave a really reasonable quote, quickly sourced the part and did an initial install. But the part wasn t functioning exactly as it should, so he quickly got a new replacement, which ended up being cheaper than the initial, and passed the savings onto me. He basically did double the labor because he wanted to make sure that it was all done correctly and saved me even more in the process. The definition of above and beyond. It s a family run establishment, too, which I always prefer to support. So, I will continue to go to Star for all my vehicle needs.

Mr. Frank and Joey are absolutely the best!! They are always so kind and helpful! Joey took the time to send me exactly what I needed to have done to my car with the cost and order of importance! Which is much appreciated. My oil changes are always fast. They have me hooked and I always tell everyone to head over to them! Hands down best in the city!!

I would recommend Star Auto Service to everyone. I arrived in New Orleans from Chicago for a one week visit. I encountered some issues with my car as I entered the city. The local Chrysler dealerships would not even look at my car for at least a month. I called Star at 4pm and they accepted an appointment for my car the next morning at 7:30am. Frank and Joey were great and their excellent service techs fixed my car the same day. Frank worked with my service warranty and saved me a lot of money. I am very grateful for their family run business that takes pride in their work and considers their customers needs above all. Thank you Star Auto Service.

People were very kind and saw my car in a really timely manner. They were honest and rushed no parts of the process. They took my notes into consideration and found out answers to my silly question / me leaving my windshield wiper on with a bike rack (causing a continual clicking sound). Cheap cost and great service. I will be back and recommend friends :~)

Quick and professional service. Called me back within a few hours of dropping off my car with a diagnosis and a solution, and a couple more hours later my vehicle was ready to come back home. Will definitely be back for any auto service needs.

While other auto shops passed on doing the work for whatever reason, Star Auto not only welcomed us but was able to easily diagnose and fix the problem in an extremely timely manner. No waiting long here. Price was extremely reasonable!!! I found a new home for my mature cars!

Star Automotive is a very well run business with high quality service and is customer focused. They have been is business for over 50 years and I highly recommend them. They fixed my F250 in a timely manner and did not break the bank!

This shop is amazing!! Frank was easy to work with and kept me well informed about everything happening with my Maserati Quattroporte. My car was there a little over a week and after being repaired the owner himself text drove it to ensure it was running properly. I definitely recommend their services.

Mr. Frank told me my was going to be ready on monday,, but the lady called me and said that my car was ready the same Friday. On Monday I went to pick up my car Mr. Frank gave me a higher bill. I will never go back to them.

Mr. Joe, Mrs. Mary, Joey, Mr. Frank, and the entire team are all outstanding. They have been providing our family with excellent auto service for 40+ years. They stay busy and may take a a little longer, but this means people trust their ability to effectively diagnose and repair your vehicle. Very highly recommended.

Star Auto had my car for several months. Found out my transmission was bad, they replaced the transmission. The day I picked up my car I was told that I had a bad motor mount. They didn t offer to fix it or nothing, but you had my car all these months. Not pleased with Star Auto

Professional service in timely manner. I just moved here and was recommended Star Auto. My hesitations getting my car serviced are typically dealing with poor communications, being overcharged and time to complete the service. I am happy to say I experienced none of those. Star Auto rocks!! I found them by accident when I had a flat tire.. They are super nice (especially Mr Frank), fast, affordable and quick communicators. I cant save enough positive things about this shop.Our 2003 subaru had AC electrical issues that no other shop would touch. Joey did a great job fixing it for us and keeping in communication. Frank was super nice and helpful. Prices fair, fast work.

My car was sent to them to fix after Take 5 ruined my car by over filling it.I was told that they would contact me and the rep from Take 5 regarding my damages. They had my car for 4 days- they NEVER contacted me. I had to call them 3 times- turns out they were only talking to Take 5 they had my car done in 2 days but didn t bother to contact me then I had to be the one to ask about what was done to the car, they had no plans to tell me since Take 5 was footing the bill.Other than that- which if I m being honest is small beans they did a great job fixing my car. So I would have totally given them a 5 star if they hadn t excluded me from the process and Mr Frank was a very sweet (and apparently really busy) man I would trust them with my car again.

I was referred here by the guy who does my oil changes . I spoke and met with Mr. Frank he was very professional and very informative. I went into the shop with a break emergency, he identified the problem and had it fixed in less than 48 hrs. I will definitely be returning here for future car maintenance. As a woman I am very apprehensive when it is time to get my car serviced due to always being taking advantage of from the beginning of the call to the end of service it was a pleasure, and I didn't feel for one minute I was taking advantage of. Mr. Frank was excellent and walked me through everything. As long as they are open, they will have my business. If you have any doubts, please go.

Frank, Joe, Mary were all professional and courteous when talking about my truck issues. My a/c was not cooling /2011 Chevy Silverado which they addressed/main issue along with an overall check up normal wear/tear items which need to be done in the near future with pictures..I would highly recommend them for your auto/ truck needs!Services: Auto A/C recharge, Vehicle InspectionServices: Auto A/C recharge, Vehicle Inspection

I didn't know anything about this place before I went there. But I'm so glad I stopped. Mr Frank and one of the Master mechanic made be feel like family. My heater in my f150 was out and my windsheild washer motor. Everything was done to my satisfaction. Now my heater is to This is now my new auto repair shop. These guys are great.
