One Word AWESOME! Took my 2016 Nissan maxima to these guys because my local mechanic said he couldn t get to my Alternator inside my vehicle I stressed for a whole week about it. My alternator was changed in a few hours same day affordable price highly recommend.

Updated review...I sincerely apologize for that ugly review. Which is gone, I went in there thinking that I won't let them outsmart me because I am female. So when I kept getting the same engine code for stuff that y'all fixed I was furious. So I brought my car somewhere else paid another almost $1,000. Had to bring the car back and found out that the reason I'm having so much problems is there was a problem with engine pistons in the Toyota car. Once again, I apologize and I'll just go take all my bad luck and go hide somewhere.

Been taking vehicle to this location for some time for an oil and filter change. Decided to take vehicle to another place, mechanic says he couldn't change the oil because the oil drain plug has previously been stripped by the only location I've been taking the vehicle for the same service every year. I was made aware of this and the mechanic took a pic and showed me the damage. Not once did spee dee mentioned to me the damage. Will never bring any vehicles there again or recommend them.

I ve been taking my vehicles here for about 4 years. The punch card is an awesome perk, after 5 oil changes the next is free! They are always very polite, and even when they re very busy they still get you in and out pretty quickly. They are never pushy about replacing anything like some other places do. All in all, great place to bring your vehicles for routine maintenance/repairs, as I will continue to do.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Wiper blade installation, Oil change

I ran over an object which ruined my rear tire. Speedy replaced the tire within 30 minutes at a very reasonable price. Keith greeted me with professionalism and concern for quality. My family has been doing business with this Speedy location for many years. We have 5 cars total. Each visit has been awesome! This business is owner and operated by TWO WOMEN (a mom and daughter) leading a team of guys and gals. THANK YOU SPEEDY for taking care of us for so many years. FIVE STAR RATING *****Service: Tires

I ve been a loyal customer and been bringing all 3 of my trucks here LAST STRAW. After the last incident last year where my truck tires were slashed and rims gashed by ramp I only went back today as a last resort for a break tag. The manager noticed who I was and was going to give me one for my wife s car but noticed that we ve been going to another Speedee. She told me no cause I haven t been loyal. Sounds like discrimination to me. This place lies, rips off, and customer service is terrible. So surprised to see mixed reviews about this shop and lady (manager). All reviews should be negative.Service: General repairs & maintenance

"The Midas Touch" They accidentally totaled my 92 Toyota truck. They wanted me to give them the key for $600.00. The managers husband brought some reality to the table & paid me $450.00 & let me keep what is left of it for my trouble. I wasn't going any further with it. Life is too short. I was mistaken, thought the truck was worth more. I told them they could fix it & make money. The manager said I was greedy & gave some other threats. It's my first amendment right to give you this true review. NO ONE will ever take that way from me. They are very bad mechanics also. I will never return.

Horrible Horrible service and customer service. I went in for a tune up, the guy completed work I did not request so I walked out with an $800 bill. Mind you I take great care of my vehicles. Never had issues until I visited this place. A few months later my transmission is malfunctioning due to their shabby work. Now my transmission must be replaced. Do yourself a favor... FIND A LEGITMATE TRANSMISSION PROFESSIONAL. 2 out of the 3 times I've been there, one of there workers could barely stand up straight and his speech was slurred. The elder mother had to send him home. Yet they still refused to accept responsibility for destroying my transmission. Worst decision I made was entrusting my vehicle to these people.

Avoid this spot. They do not understand how to run a business. I took my car in because the steering wheel was shaking when I drove over 60mph. Was told I needed two new front tires and a mandatory alignment. They wanted to charge me double the market price for the tires, $154 per tire for Sailun Atrezzo s that currently go for $71 per tire elsewhere (Walmart a Ross the street for example) and $150 for the alignment.So I decline their help. They would not give my car back until I paid a diagnostic fee for looking at my car and saying I need tires. Mind you I was told the fee is $40 then the owners daughter charged me $49.99. When I refused to pay, the woman claiming to own the business yelled at me, accused me of cheating her, then her daughter kept telling me I was stupid and asking what was wrong with me. I called the police so it will be legally documented. The police came out, I was told I had to pay their fee, then she demanded I pay in cash and I must walk to the atm across the street to get money. Despite having cash on hand. The officer told her that was illegal. So I paid to fee, they still didn t want to give my keys back but after more discussions I was finally able to reclaim my property. I think they don t understand how to run a business and are dangerous to your pocketbook and vehicle. There is no way I will ever go back and my recommendation to you is avoid it also. There are plenty of other options in this area.Service: Tires

Excellent work! So grateful they plugged my flat tire for me so quickly. My warrantee didn t cover it but it was very reasonably priced. I appreciate the professionalism and kindness of the young lady that helped me. I highly recommend this business!

Came here a few days ago and Mr. Javaris really took care of me and my vehicle. He was very fast, convenient, and thorough. He did everything that my car needed and I will be back and also recommend this location to family and friends.

Really liked the women working here. The female mechanic is very knowledgeable, fast, and cost-effective. I brought my vehicle here after another shop could not figure out a simple alignment. The old saying holds ture "the best man for the job is a woman."

I have never been so disrespected by an owner in my life. Avoid this place, she does not deserve any one s service. She not only disrespected and was rude to me and blamed me for an issue but she then proceeded to yell at her employees for a simple mistake that was solved in less than 1 minute. The men that work here were extremely kind - The owner was not - I ve never seen a leader show so much disrespect to an employee in my life . She has a note on the door of this place saying be kind she should read that, learn it, find a leadership book, and apologize to myself and her hard working employees. I will not support a business that verbally abuses its employees

I m a DIY guy but I ended up bringing my truck here for a transmission filter and flush, along with a coolant flush. It just seemed easier to let someone else handle those messy items for me. They did a great job and called me to suggest changing the rear differential fluid. I ended up having to go back for them to tighten the bolt on the rear differential because it was leaking a few drops but other than that, it was a great service. I was greeted warmly by Nas? and there was another guy with a gauged ear piercing who was really nice.

Do NOT go here for anything! Went in for a new brake tag and an oil change. They tried to scam me into buying two new tires saying that my front two tires were 3 s and they need to all be 4 s for them to issue me a brake tag. Told them I only wanted the oil change. Then they tried to get me to buy a new air filter and showed me a dirty air filter that I know wasn t mine. Again told them to just do the oil change because they already had my car in the garage. Two days later, my car is leaking oil because they didn t put the oil cap back on correctly. Good thing I read these reviews before my car completely overheated and ruined my engine. This place will DESTROY your car and milk you for everything you re worth. This place needs to be shut down for good!

I was in and out quickly, the staff was friendly, professional, offered me discounts and reward cards for future visits. As far as I can tell so far they did a good job on my routine oil change though I still feel that $60 is a little on the expensive side for this service.

I went to the shop in person and was greeted quickly. I asked for a manager or owner to speak with regarding a service issue. The woman who came out to speak with me was professional and courteous. She listened to my complaint, took my car back to inspect it, and came back with an apology. She assured me that the tech who mishandled my previous oil change was no longer with the shop and she set me up with a complimentary service for my next oil change. I was fired up and ready for a debate bit she disarmed me with a sincerely apology and true customer service.

The oil change was fast and cheap. Service was good enough. I asked about my brakes and they didn't charge me for a diagnostic but told me that I needed new brake pads and front rotors. I appreciated the free opinion but the $450 price tag on the service seemed high so I didn't get it done there. A friend of my family did the job for $380.

I called at 10 a.m. this morning to see if they can fix my muffler. They said I can bring it in and they can look at it but they won't be able to get to it. Why would I come all the way out there for them just to look at it and not fix it? I said you have eight hours. Simple job. I asked to speak to the manager. I can hear her in the background acting like she doesn't want to talk. The guy gets on the phone and tells me she's busy. They couldn't care less about their customers they are not accommodating at all. FYI, I gave one star because you have to give a star just to make a review. Otherwise they would get a zero from me!

I've been coming here for years for general maintenance and upkeep on my car despite not living that close to this location within the city. Whether it be for an alignment, new tires, brake pads, an oil change, or even a brake tag, you can count on getting fast and reliable service. Everyone working there is very friendly and honest and have always made me feel comfortable leaving my car in their hands. This is a family owned and operated business, which shows in the pride they take in delivering their customers the absolute best auto repair experience out there.

This is the first time I have written a comment concerning my experience at any business. I have taken my car to this business for close to 15 years. In the end of May I went for my usual oil change. After I was home I noticed a gigantic amount of oil underneath my car. Next I checked my oil and there was not a drop of oil left in my car. Whoever serviced my vehicle forgot to put the gasket on the oil plug. I called the store immediately and they came to my house to give me another oil change. At this point, six weeks later, the management has yet to clean my driveway in a proper manner. This may sound picky but I have multiple oil stains covering my driveway. When speaking to the management. She acts like that this is an inconvenience. By the way, I was still charged for the oil change and now I will have to pay someone to pressure wash my driveway. They lost a loyal customer.

Went to have my Cadillac converters checked do to engine running rough, 3 hrs later they sed starter wasn't any good and truck died. and if I declined to have them work on my truck I had till 11pm remove truck from property. When in fact they locked motor and vehicle isn't drivable, so i paid them to only check my truck engine light not to also damage it completely out of service. Charge for any lil thing. Starts off with a standard fee( for example...I wanted a wheel alignment, I was told there was a standard fee of $49.99 which would be applied to the total) because they needed to do their check first if that's what I needed.I told them I was sure that's what I needed, then I was told my tires were worn and I needed the tires rotated for $19.99 which I declined.I went there a couple weeks later because my car was pulling again and itt would be i think $89 to check the problem. What nobody does checks after work has been done.(thought there was a guarantee?) I would have been happy to pay if that was not the problem, then a light bulb went off that told me to pressurize all my tires and that was the problemI saved myself almost a hundred dollars for uneven tire balance.

I would give this place no stars if possible. My daughter took her car there and ask for Freon to be put in her car which is the ac service they have for $99. After waiting there 3 hours they told her it wouldn t be ready until the next day. The next day she goes back and they tell her it s $1500. I called there and Beth was extremely rude and started yelling at me. They tried to get over on a young girl and got mad when it was exposed. I wouldn t recommend this place to anyone. The speedy on Williams is much more nicer and knowledgeable.

Brought my Range Rover to have them diagnose a noise with the suspension. They quickly found the problem and priced the part. In pricing the part from the dealer, they discovered the part had already been replaced by the previous owner and was under warranty from the dealer. They saved me money by sharing the info with me. I appreciate their honesty.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I do not recommend taking your vehicle here. I went in for an oil change 2 days ago and there was no employee in the lobby for 10 minutes, that was the first sign that I should have left. They took my keys without asking any other information. I waited for 45 minutes to an hour for an oil change. An employee came out trying to sell a air filter to the lady waiting before me. He gave her the whole speech about breathing in dirt. She declined. And no less then 15 minutes later another employee came out with the SAME EXACT filter and tried to sell it to me for $40. I was overcharged even with my coupon. Yesterday my brake lights wouldn't turn off and still won't. My check engine light came on today and I broke down, the steering cut out as well as the brakes. They broke the clamp / terminal on my battery and messed with my fuses. I came in for an oil change and left with more problems then I came in with. Please take your business elsewhere. This place is a joke and a scam.

Took my mother's car for an oil change, she normally takes it to Wal-Mart and never had issues but closed due to COVID. When picking up the lady said we needed new wipers. Told her not interested. Next day tried using wiper fluid to clean windshield while driving. No fluid came out, strange cause couple of days ago I used wiper fluid (use it frequently, she parks under tree) and all was well. Checked fluid, filled it, still no fluid coming out. Checked, someone unhooked windshield fluid tube. NEVER has that happened. I guess if I would've agreed to change wipers they would've hooked it back up. Unprofessional not to mention dangerous because it caused the windshield to get dirtier and smudge. Never taking it there again and not recommending to anybody I know.Service: Oil change

I had the greatest pleasure in meeting Nazalee (forgive my spelling) while I was getting an oil and tire change. I had AAA tow my car here and I was immediately assisted. I had two tires replaced in no time and my car was left clean. No greasy prints. I ll never go anywhere else.

My last Suburban surpassed 300,000 miles, so I sold it and bought another Suburban 15 years later. The main reason why the Suburban lasted this long was due to Speedy-Midas located at 8835 Veterans Blvd, Metairie, LA. This family owned and operated business has always provided top quality service at a reasonable price. I use Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil which helps make the engine last longer. With any older car, they make a list of things to address each visit. I often decline proactive service and catch it on the next trip to smooth the budget over time. This helps me establish a maintenance plan to keep the automobile last longer. I give this venue 5 stars! Thank You!!!!!
