I relocated to New Orleans six months ago from Los Angeles. A few days after the move my car was underwater due to a severe rainstorm. I had it towed to Greff Motors, and I was lucky to have my auto insurance pay for them to fix the damage. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the moment, I received my car back it drove better than it ever had. I have an old Porsche 911 and since then it has been running like a new car. I had it serviced last week at Greff, and they did an excellent job. If you ever have any questions, they are highly responsive and very cordial. Junior and Dustin are especially helpful. Most importantly, it's obvious they ONLY give too-notch service and use quality parts. If you are looking for a place (just judging from some poor reviews that I read before leaving this review) that will charge you less money upfront, but will give you poor service/parts and will cost you and your car more money in the long run, then this is not the place for you. It seems they will not sacrifice quality service to get business which I admire. I will only be going to Greff for all of my automobile needs. If you have a Porsche, then I especially recommend them, but it seems they can handle any type of car.

Brought my car in for an electrical issue, had for a month. $650 later the issue was still present. By my 4th time was advised how I needed a $1300 repair but may not resolve the issue and was told id be better to just get rid of my vehicle. No auto mechanic knowledge, $2 butt splice, and 10 minutes of my time and grounding issue was resolved. Couldn't be more disappointed.

Read the other bad reviews. I had the same experience. I took it in for a 120,000 mile service. My car is worth 10k, not a luxury car. They told me $750 plus tax on the phone, outrageous, but I agreed since I needed it back quick. Then I come in to pick it up and they say 850 plus tax! "estimates only have to be within 20% of the total" was their claim. It was a quote for a standard service, not an estimate. When I refused to pay more than I was quoted, the owner tried to take my car in the back and do something to it which of course I wouldn't allow. The owner is a short little napoleon who tried to act tough and cowered when the chips were down. If he ever wanted to test me he would be laid up for a month and he knows it, so he let me pay the price I was quoted and I left. He was shouting at me the entire time. I am younger and I guess he thought that he can push around people younger than him. You have so many choices, don't take your car to this clown. They didn't even do what I paid them to do which is the worst part. They charged me $80 labor only for a cabin air filter and installed it wrong.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was quoted a price for front breaks/rotors and an oil change. 1700 on top of that the rotors were never actually changed. Now I have had to get new tires, a front break/rotor job, AND sway bar links on a Mercedes because of this place! I don t mind paying if it s done correctly but this is a complete rip off! Brian s German Auto in Baton Rouge is worth the hour drive over this place! Don t go here! First and Last time NEVER AGAIN!

A quick, honest, reliable, and transparent company. I will be taking my Porsche for all future repairs here. They solved an electric issue and more that Porsche of New Orleans refused to attempt to diagnose. They were honest with what work needed to be done and what work I potentially need done in the future. Words cannot express how much I appreciate this company! They are trustworthy, offer impeccable service and are very reasonable on repairs. I have peace of mind knowing that my cars are properly serviced. The service department is very knowledgeable and I appreciate their quick communication every time! they were very nice and able to solve a difficult problem with my smartcar. it's very hard to find mechanics who will work on smartcars now that they have been discontinued. thanks to them, my car is running better than ever!

I had a Coolant leak in my 2013 Audi S5. The work went well and the repair made. They do excellent work. I ve never used Greff before but I m so glad they were there for me. I had to use this body shop on a whim after a hurricane to replace my alternator because everywhere was packed & on a waitlist. i also don t just let any body work on my german car. but i m glad it happened that way because they are now my go to. I always drop my car off in the morning, by the afternoon I get a phone call telling me what s wrong & if I want to order the parts. parts are usually always overnight & my car is ready the next day by noon. you pay for quality & experience.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

Highly recommend!Called, then went in with issues with the windows in my 97 BMW, and spoke with Randy Sr. (who I later learned was the General Manager). He was very down to earth, took his time with me, and definitely under-promised and over-delivered! I had my car back, all fixed up, the next morning!It was a little more expensive than I was expecting, but I attribute that to the professionals taking their time to get it right. I d rather pay for great work than try to skimp and have to readdress later.

Terrible pricing on labor. Wanted to have a turbo swap done and the price quoted was $1440. Now it only takes 5-6 hours to a turbo swap with a trained mechanic for the vehicle as it s simple unbolt and bolt on. The last place that did my other turbo took exactly 5 hours of labor to do so. Another exclusive local shop which works on Audis, Lamborghinis, Porsche, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Bentley, Maserati, and Pagani quoted half that and if you work on the level of cars like that you re knowledgeable.At nearly $1500 for a 4 cylinder turbo replacement they are charging at a rate of $250 an hour. They are either inexperienced or just taking advantage. I understand being firm if you stand by your work but this is a Volkswagen not a Bugatti.Edit to owners response:I explained the car already had high performance oem turbo installed. I would never bring my car somewhere without all the parts. Not my first rodeo but I would want someone to get the work. My car is needs nothing but the turbo installed. It has a tune, all the gaskets would be provided, and all the corresponding parts essentially work as is. Quote and estimate are the same exact terms.

I took my 2016 Audi here to have the fuel pump replaced with their diagnosis.After having it replaced, the fuel sender was then messed up causing the fuel gauge to be incorrect. Also, the car still wasn t running right and was then explained oh, it must be the other fuel pump that needs to be replaced. Long story short, I recently found out that the fuel pump that was installed by Greff Motors was the INCORRECT part for my car. I m extremely frustrated and definitely don t recommend to anyone.

Many years ago I switched the service on my BMW's, Mercedes, and Porsche's to Greff and never regretted it. They do the best work and will make sure your car is repaired correctly the first time. Not cheap, but if you want your car fixed right and it to be safe then Greff is the right Company for German cars.

I had seen good reviews, and wanted an alternative to the local Audi Dealership ( which was rude, and screwed me over a few times) so I took a chance. They deal in High End cars, no mistaking that! Oil change and change 4 parking light bulbs = almost 300 buck and 2.5 hours ( labor charge for each job)

Without any shadow of a doubt, this is the best German auto shop in the New Orleans metro.Prices are higher than any of the alternatives. Granted, that's because they do the job correctly the first time, every time.Far too often I've gone to the dealership and have had to return for a repair performed incorrectly. I cannot stand wasting time, and neither does Greff Motors.

Agreed on $125 diagnostic fees. They called me back and told me that it will cost me around $1400. I agreed on that. After one week they called me and said it will cost me and additional $1300. so the new total now is $2700. I told them I don't want to fix it for that amount. I will be you the diagnostic fees. They said no you have to pay us the $1400 even if you don't want to fix it. unprofessional and very rude. I will never go back there again. not recommended at all. for the same service fees i can get a better service at the dealership. again not recommended at allService: Engine repair

Randy and his staff just complete a project 911 that had been garaged for many years. I am here to say that their attention to detail was well beyond what I expected, as many of you know Porsche care is almost nonexistent in New Orleans and we are fortunate to these guys. Went here after my '03 Audi A4 surrendered to the "oil sludge" problem known to completely destroy engines.Greff and his team worked quickly on my vehicle, alerting me to any issues they ran into across and most importantly educating me on concepts and basic practices for proper maintenance for my car.Overall, I was satisfied with the work which would've cost me "an arm and leg" at the dealership. My car hasn't had any issues since they touch it. They were the only shop to permanently stop my mystery oil leakage. I get my oil changed there regularly now.I would highly suggest this place if you have German /European vehicle with work beyond simple Youtube DIY jobs.... . These guys know what they are doing!

greff provides promptness and certainty when dealing with mercedes problems. In addition to getting it done, Jr et.al. provide concise technical reports over phone. This issomething the dealer can not do.

Went there to have my gti apr tuned since they are the only dealer for miles. Was very satisfied with the looks of the place and the service they performed, and by the way, my car runs like a Porsche now!
