Brought my brand new car to them for it's 1st oil change and tire rotation. Dropped my car off at 7:45, was told it would take until end of day, and they were done at 10am. I got exceptional service at a very fair price from these folks.My biggest pain points with auto shops in the area have been around communication and expectations but Geiling exceeded in both.

I love this place. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Once I forgot my wallet and, because I didn't live far away at the time, one of the employees drove me home to get it and then drove me back to pay - and I've been singing their praises ever since. They were really nice about it too!They're really good about calling me after looking at my car and telling me all the things that need to be done, how urgent of an issue each item is, and how much each will cost. I never feel pressured to get it ALL done, and I'm never surprised by the final amount I have to pay. I also always drive away feeling like I understand what they did and why. I honestly can't say enough nice things about Geiling. I recommend them to everyone. If you're looking for a trusty mechanic, go here.

Not bad experience, but not good. Two different gentleman helped me at two different times. The first gentleman who helped me, was difficult to communicate with. The second gentleman was much easier. **The person at counter makes a difference.Dropped my car off per my reservation window. Once Geiling Auto figured out the problem my vehicle was having, they called me up. After communicating with the first man about my options over the phone, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I went back to the shop, paid for $140 for diagnostic fee, then left with my vehicle.Before I left, the second man was inside the shop (my first time meeting him). The gentleman was genuinely helpful. However, I still decided to take my business somewhere else.

Honest and very competent! Previously had a diagnosis and verbal estimate from a dealership for repair work. After checking with Geiling Auto Service, I learned that the dealership diagnosis was false. I saved over $800.00, by learning that it was not needed. Later, I returned for a minor air conditioningproblem. It is working well and the cost was both reasonable and minor. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ALL. M. Campbell

Great place to get your car checked or fixed. Steve was really helpful in letting me know exactly what the issue was with my vehicle. Furthermore, they don t overcharge you. It s a great family-owned business that you can trust when it comes to your vehicle. Thank you for saving me a lot of stress.

Very fast, very fairly priced. The workers at Geiling were very transparent about all services needed and which ones I should prioritize. I dont know much (or anything) about cars and they took great care of everything. I made an appointment and my car was ready the next day.

I had an oil leak that caused my alternator belt to shred. The team at Geiling were FANTASTIC at communicating the issue to me, charged me a very fair price, and were able to repair everything the same day. It's refreshing to work with honest mechanics who are excellent at their jobs. Thank you!

Great auto and person care! Highly recommend, and as a woman on my own, I was ffearful of the typical nonsence that we have come to expecct. Not with Geiling...They are fair and honest and my car was ready on time and even tho it was basic work done, I felt safe and that quality work was done. Rene and Steve are the best friends your car can have. I took my car in this morning and they discovered a hole in the oil pan. It was fixed by one o clock the same day . Everyone at Geiling s is friendly and efficient

This business was recommended to us, so when my son s car broke down, we decided to give it a try. They were professional, completed the work timely, and thoroughly explained the problem. What I felt the best about was they gained my trust. That s rare in this industry. Oh yeah, car runs great after repairs. I've been going to Geiling Auto for 3 years now for all of my car servicing! They are professional and very female friendly - something difficult to find in Louisiana. They've always done what's in my best interest without taking advantage of the fact that I'm not knowledgeable about car mechanics. They call before replacing even $5 parts, give me price and timing options; we discuss safety and the cost/benefit to me before proceeding with suggested repairs. Service is extremely timely! They also arranged to have my CarMax extended warranty cover most of the repairs needed, without me ever having to deal with the insurance. When I've gone on long trips to Chicago and Phoenix, I would take my car to Geiling for a major check and feel comfortable that it was safe for me to drive!I wouldn't use another car service and would highly recommend Geiling if you're looking for an honest, professional and fair practice!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Brakes, Oil change

Geiling was highly recommended to us for its team of experieneced mechanics and long-time family ownership. We have not been disappointed. Don't bother coming to this auto shop unless you're a middle-aged (or older) white person. I felt like they didn't want me there. I brought my car in for them to diagnose my check engine light. They did at least give me a call to tell me what they thought the issue was, but upon picking up my car the next day, the "gentleman" up front just gave me the printout with the parts and labor descriptions and told me he'll go get my car. He didn't give me an explanation or anything! YET, he gave ample time, patience, and communication with the other two customers in the office. He basically brushed me off, and I don't appreciate that. After I asked for someone to explain the situation multiple times, he finally did (probably just to get me out of there). And apparently they don't take warranties for any engine work-- which is fine--but I had the money to pay without the warranty, actually. But after the way they made me feel, I wouldn't let them touch my car ever again.

My brand new battery was mysteriously draining overnight - it did so 3 nights in a row. I had my car towed to Geiling s, since they were one of the few repair shops with a good rating open on January 2nd. I m so happy I trusted Geiling to fix the problem - they did not disappointment! They are honest and trustworthy. This was my first time using Geiling's. They were VERY PROFESSIONAL and VERY HONEST! Excellent communication! They were honest up front about when they were going to be able to look at my car. They kept me updated about the status and had my car repaired and ready the very next day. This seems to be rare these days but this company will exceed expectations.
