Cedric has maintained our 2000 Golf over 10 years and has provided excellent care for each repair. He always discusses the price options to fit your budget. He is super professional, very conscientious, and does high quality work.

Our family has used Cedric for several years and, believe it or not, we have had ZERO problems with his work and his prices. He is conscientious and fair and dependable. My son has a 20 year old Volvo which Cedric has helped him maintain in top shape when no one else would touch it. He never recommends work that doesn't need to be done and, in fact, sometimes tries to talk us out of doing something because "it's not mechanically necessary." I can't say enough good things about Cedric and would wholly recommend him to anyone with a European automobile.

Cedric is awesome and extremely knowledgeable, I m having problems with my BMW and I called to try and get my vehicle in unfortunately I cannot get in soon enough but Cedric went out of his way and spent about 30 minutes on the phone with me consulting me through fixing my issue to get me back on the road compared to the BMW dealership which quickly told me I need to bring it in and that s all they could do. This guy really cares about his business and the people he serves from here on out this is the only place I will be taking my BMW! Thanks Cedric

As the owner of an older Saab, it s become nearly impossible to find someone who is not afraid to work on it. Even mechanics who tout their ability to work on anything with wheels, I find that it s easy to put fear into their eyes (along with dollar signs, because they re willing to try but at my expense, of course). I was on the verge of actually selling the car to someone for parts when I decided to call Cedric. I am so glad that I did! He was the most honest mechanic that I ve ever dealt with, and he s also an extremely capable and competent mechanic. I knew that finding someone to service my car that s part of an orphan marque would be a bit more difficult than finding someone who could work on say, a Honda, but I was very realistically starting to realize that I d need to trailer my Saab to Houston to have it serviced. Cedric saved us so much time, money, and so many headaches! He is very patient and has a good knack for dealing with customers as well as their cars. Finding both of these traits within one person is becoming more and more rare, I m afraid. I can wholeheartedly recommend Cedric to anyone who has a European automobile that needs service. He will do what he needs to do to get you up and running again, and will let you know what needs to be done, and how much it will be BEFORE doing anything, and he doesn t suggest services that are unnecessary. I m beyond happy that he s here to help those of us who have European vehicles that need to be serviced, we re lucky to have someone who s as down-to-Earth, honest, and skilled as Cedric to work on our cars. I know that I ll be back for anything that my car needs, and anyone who s had the pleasure of owning a Saab knows that they tend to be in the shop more than they re being driven, so having a good working relationship with a skilled mechanic is a must!

Went in for maintenance and AC repair. He was kind enough to let to come in for a quick check bc I thought I had a leak, (unlike this other place that kept making me call back every 2 weeks). Cedric has been amazing so far. He s skilled, honest, and transparent with anything that needs to be done. He won t try do anything that s unnecessary. I would recommend him to anyone that needs help with European cars. He saved me a lot of money and anxiety lol. Thanks, Cedric!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Oil change

I cannot say enough about this shop and Cedric. Our 1956 Citroen Traction Avant s trunk would not open. I could not find anyone else in New Orleans who would even look at the car. In a matter of minutes, he was able to fix the problem and only charged us a tiny amount of money. When later that same day(!), unfortunately, the throttle cable broke, he was able, after we had the car towed over there, to immediately once again solve the problem and send us on our way. He even refused to accept any payment! I can t think of a more reputable and competent mechanic. He s really deserving of 6 out of 5 stars! If you have an unusual European car, or any European car, I would not take it anywhere else in the city.He is not surprisingly very busy, and it can be difficult to get a service appointment, so it is best to plan in advance and schedule early.

Cedric at European Cars recently fixed my VW Tiguan. He is the most honest and thorough mechanic I ve hired in my life. If you call now you can get on a waitlist for July/August, but once you re in, he s your car guy. He found a leak in the water pump that no other mechanic could locate. Figured out my oil leak (misdiagnosed by other mechanics but never located) was just the previous owner being sloppy with an oil change. Bunch of other stuff too (sensor issues, etc). Problems other mechanics claimed to fix were finally fixed by Cedric. He walked me through everything he worked on, showed me the crusty old parts he replaced, I m very happy to have found European Cars, his kid was right best mechanic in the whole world Services: Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance, Oil change

After living in the NOLA area for five years and making my way through at least five mechanics (some who claimed to be European auto specialists and charged inflated prices for inadequate service) I found Cedric at European Cars who I have taken my European import to exclusively for the past year.Cedric is one of the most professional mechanics I have ever dealt with. He is honest to the point that he will not recommend a repair for your car if he does not think it would be worth it even though he would make money off of making the repair (this is the complete opposite from most of my experiences with area mechanics who I find are usually trying to add on unnecessary work).I like European Cars so much that after my last car finally died on me I replaced it with another used European import because I have the confidence that Cedric will provide excellent service if/when I need it.Hands down this is the best shop I've been to in the area. In fact, it makes me feel bad for all of the folks who drive domestics or Asian imports and can't visit European Cars. Thanks for all you do Cedric.

Cedric is the absolute best!! I appreciate anyone who takes the time to get to root problems, and that's what he does. I take my mom's Jag to him and I never have to worry or think he's going to over charge us. I first trusted him based on reviews. So, I'm leaving my little slice so that someone else can be as confident as I am in Cedric.

Cedric is the most personable and honest mechanic I have ever done business with. If he discovers that your car needs something extra, he will always call and check. He will also give you blunt honesty, which in the mechanic world is invaluable. His work is as professional as ever and if you need help when he is not around (say you're on a road trip), he will take your call and walk you through the problem on the phone. He values his customers and they obviously value him since he is often booked in advance. I wish there were more mechanics like him; He knows his stuff, admits it when he cannot do a certain job , and cleanly weighs your options for you. You da man Cedric.

Cedric is great. There is no one in the city like him, especially if you have a diesel vehicle. Super nice guy, super honest, very professional and knowledgeable. If you have a European car (especially diesel!) look no further; this is your mechanic.

I look for two qualities in a mechanic - honesty and skill. Cedric has both. If you're looking to avoid the ridiculous prices and unnecessary service "recommendations" from car dealers, Cedric will be able to help. He saved me from falling prey to the car dealers on multiple occasions.

Spoke with Cedric over the phone and asked if he could replace gaskets on my oil pan and valve, and he informed me that neither parts have gaskets on the model of my Volvo. I wish I had brought my car to him before I let Pep boy's misinform me. Hoping I can get my car to him soon, cause he sounds like a reasonable expert.

Very very good customer service. Timely. Very through well explained. Reviewed all replaced parts. Trustworthy. Not inexpensive as you would expect on a Mercedes but seemed better than dealer. I would recommend this place.
