Be Aware very unsafe mechanic shop. I paid over $900 for a rear brake job and a couple months later they started making noise so I called the shop and was rudely told they couldn t look at my vehicle until the following week. I took it to another shop next day and they discovered direct tire didn t properly put the return spring on the passenger side brakes so they were scraping and used much of the expensive brake pads I paid for. As far as the driver side they broke the adjustment screw and the brake pads weren t touching when I hit the pedal. I was only stopping with 3 out of 4 brakes. If you care about your life never go here.

Freddie and Donnie took very good care of me recently. I asked them to get a set of new tires to their shop, before I dropped my car off. The tires were there a day ahead of my appointment. 4 new tires, with a nice mileage warranty, an alignment, a guarantee to take care of me for rotations and quick fixes, and a handshake once the job was done, same day as dropping it off. Good people, good service.Head their way for your next set of tires!

Called the night before and they reserved a tire for me. A+ customer service; arrived a little late because I had to stop by work first but they still got me in and out quickly. Fair prices for tires, especially given the speed with which they put it on. Make sure to go early though and call ahead to check times and tire availability. I would definitely come back here if I needed to.

This business advertises that they "offer fast reliable service..new tires or need a repair" but apparently if you just need air in your tire, they provide NO SERVICE AT ALL. While coming across the causeway in a torrential rain storm my tire pressure light came on. After exiting the causeway, I saw this business (a tire shop, right, perfect for getting air for a tire, so one would think) so stopped and asked the attendant if he could add air to my tire. He sent me inside to the office and I inquired with the man in the office - may I please get some air? His response was an immediate "NO, we are too busy". I quickly explained that all I was asking for was air, not to check my tire. He immediately replied again, NO, we are too busy. I said, "for air, you are too busy to put air in a tire?" He told me I could sit and wait for 5 1/2 hours. Really? Yes, really! 5 1/2 hours for air....

They were super respectful when I went in. I had to be to work for 10:30. I pulled up at 9:52 , got 2 new tires put on and I was out by 10:17. Super quick. Awesome guys working there. And Mr.Freddy was super helpful. I dont know the guys name who changed my tires, but he was really nice too!! A++

Best service and great price. The guy was very helpful and nice to talk too. I brought him a vehicle I purchased that was bouncing all over the road. He changed the tires for me and didn't up sell me on an alignment cause he said I didn't need one. He even called me a few hours later after I left to check on how everything was driving. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Tire Town suggested putting bigger tires on my truck for a more comfortable ride. I said ok since they are the professionals. They rubbed the entire inside wheel wells and I could not turn the whole radius without major rubbing. Not only they were too big but they were meant for snow. We live in the south. Now 3-4 years later my whole steering is messed up and has cost me a lot of money to fix a problem I never had. It s very upsetting and costly. I was majorly miss lead and taken advantage.

I called two other tire places, who did not have the size I needed. When I called Direct Tire Town, they also did not have the tire size I needed, BUT they offered to get them for me right away. I went right in, and they treated me like a VIP, even though it was my 1st visit. Their prices were great, and the service even better! Tire Town replaced my old worn tires, and even changed my oil while I was there. I'd recommend Scottie, Tom & Donnie at Tire World to anyone who wants Service, Trust & Fair Prices!

These people were like dealing with a used car lot. The older gentleman whose desk is in the front, had told me my tire was available used. I am assuming his son, a shorter, stockier man with slicked back hair then told me they didn't have it used, and that I needed a new tire.Because I was on a doughnut and didn't have many options having only a couple hours until my shift, I agreed on a new tire that was $77.00.They then both start bombarding me with questions about my driving habits, asking where i drive, how far i drive, how often etc..I knew what was going on, and politely insisted that I wanted the tire that we had agreed on. The younger man insisted that we go look at the tire on my car. Once outside he pushes harder, "So really, tell me. What are your driving habits like."I don't think these people know how to deal with millennials. I am very industrious, I had looked up the warranties associated with the tires I priced and they carried before walking in.I knew what I wanted when I came in, which was the used tire, and I also wanted to get one new tire in the rear of my car.I walked out agreeing to the tire he strong armed me into, just because his condescending tone was provoking my temper and I didn't want to get confrontational at a store that already looks like a couple bodies may be lying around out back.I agreed on the tire he special ordered and never came to receive it or pay for it. I then got a nasty phone call. Sorry to waste your time fellas, I genuinely hope you read this and adjust your strategy because I am a hardworking young guy who drives a lot, and goes through some tires.Firestone was more than happy to sell me the tire I CHOSE, at a fair price and no haggle necessary.

Just FYI this place doesn't put new tires from other places. Not the only in this stretch of the Causeway either, they must have their reasons; however to me it doesn't make it a full tire shop if they don't provide such service.

I was made to go here for tires by the manager of Metairie motors. After changing tires....no test drive, no alignment. As I was leaving, I noticed they had broken my driver's side window. I was told it wasn't their problem. The owner had not even talked to me about it. First time I ever even laid eyes on him, he told me to get out and that he had called the police. What an awful thing to do to someone! BE CAREFUL DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! BTW, they are NOT accredited by the BBB. Metairie Motors isn't either...and now I know why! Stay away!

Piss poor customer service. Perhaps Mr Freddy has forgotten what's simple common courtesy is. Apparently saying hello or even thank you appears to have escaped him and his office crew. I would never bring my business to a place that cannot even make the simple effort to treat a respectful human being with respect.

RIP OFF! They lied 1) they said it was a 65,000 warranty tires. They are 55,000. 2) they charged $110 per tire, but Goodyear would do it for $78/tire. I had looked this up and called them back and told them to remove them, return my old tires, and a refund me. He said, "To bad. Buyer beware!" and hung up. A legitimate company would change it with a refund. I could hear the bubba at the other end of the phone. He was hysterical, high pitched and mealy-mouthed. Couldn't get a word in edgewise. The five star reviews must be plants. Not only unprofessional but down right mental. prozac and some testosterone at least...

What a great guy. I had a blowout and I emailed his website that night. He responded and called me in the AM when he got the tire. I will definitely be back.
