Brought truck in for an oil change and to find out why engine light was on. Was told it should take about an hour and 45 minutes. Got a text that my brakes were bad, so i called to check was told that was a mistake. That they were still working on inspection.I texted later to check on progress got no response, then i called the desk and was told my guy was on the phone and would call me back in 10 minutes. He still hasn't called me back. I did get a text that i needed to urgently get $1500.00 + work done.As i had to either approv or decline each item, before i could see what else needed to be done i declined each item till i got thru the list.I asked if truck was ready to pick up . I was texted that it was ready.Service rep was no where to be found when i got there.So i got paperwork and left, I do not see any reason to return.I also did not get a printed list of the results of the test they did on check engine light or any reasoning of why i needed repairs.Will stick to my local Mechanic that I trust.Last time i went by it took 3+ hours for an oil change.Very disappointed,

I am writing this review to save future customers from both time/money wasted.I am a full time worker, and mother of two.I have lost out on so much time with work because my car being tied up for months on end in this dealership.I have spent thousands of dollars doing what the mechanics have recommended only to have my car malfunction within the same week of having it with them.They will take advantage of you. Even knowing I m hardly making ends meet for my family.Most recently brought my car in for problems internally. After doing a full diagnostic.I agreed to everything they needed to do. This being my only means of transportation. The only thing I turned down was two new tires knowing my tires weren t too bad off, and when needed I could find a better deal elsewhere. After paying almost 4k for all repairs.I received my car back with two COMPLETELY bald tires.PLUS my alignment messed up so completely my car pulled to the side intensely.I texted them about the problems, and heard nothing back. Needing my car to not miss out on anymore work because I had missed out on two weeks from it being tied up at the shop. After one rainy day, and almost wreaking my vehicle I decided enough was enough, and called again. They denied changing my tires at all. Plainly lying to my face. Upon receiving any vehicle they take photos. When I requested to see these photos the tried to dodge the request, and asked me to bring the car in. I wasted another day of work to do so. Mind you at this point I ve already paid 4K in repairs, and missed out on hundreds of dollars of work. After viewing the vehicle they said they couldn t change the tires because my suspension was shot. Then asked me to pick my car back up. HAVING DONE NOTHING. My suspension AND alignment were both fine before any of this was done. Again I asked for the pictures. No response. Now upset realizing all of these problems boiled down to riding on an unhinged alignment that they had done. Now would cost me thousands more, and they were clearly lying to my face to get out of it.I decided to talk to a manager. This manager asked me to bring the car back in AGAIN. Missing ANOTHER day of work I brought it in. In this interaction he admitted to my partner that the tires HAD been changed. He then tried to say that we turned down the suspension fix in the initial intake, where if the suspension had been shot it would have been noted.It was not BECAUSE THE SUSPENSION/ALIGNMENT/AND TIRES WERE ALL FINE then. We asked to see the paperwork where it said that because we also had that paper work to prove he was lying. Just like we have the text to prove they lied about changing the tires. Agree waiting around 4 hours, the MANAGER offered to cut us a deal of only a few hundred off of a complete suspension fix. Tire change, alignment, and control arm. ALL OF WHICH THEY THEMSELVES MESSED UP. This establishment is not looking out for the safety of their customers. They are money hungry. Inconsiderate, and all around disrespectful to the customers who choose to pay them for a service.I now need to involve legal action, after wasting so much money/time.I wish someone had warned me before I ever brought my car into these people.BEWARE!!!

Service has drastically gone downhill since I got my car 2 years ago. They used to be great and have great customer service. Now they don t return phone calls, don t let you know what s wrong with your car or give you status updates until almost closing time. They said they ordered my part but that was 3 weeks ago and no one ever called me to let me know if it was in. I took it in for an oil change and 15k service. They rotated my tires but didn t put air in them and didn t put the tire caps back on. They should ve put new wiper blades on but the new ones are already streaking. I will not be returning.

We bought or 2022 chevy Silverado from Matt Bowers, it was a great experience, they have been to only dealership to service our truck and highly recommend their service department

I had to wait one hour before my truck was sent to the back of the shop for oil change. I watched so many people come in after me and left before me. I noticed this for several of my oil changes. Be fair to all customers.

I had the pleasure of going to the Service/Parts Section for an oil change. I was surprised when I rolled up at 7:06am, there were already 5 to 6 cars ahead of me. But I was kindly greeted by Mr. Bobby Brumfield Jr. , he welcomed me at my car once he realized this was my first oil change with Matt Bower. When it was time to check out, he stated I hope we didn't waste too much of your time this Saturday. I was out and off the premises by 915am.It was a much better experience at the Service Department than it was when I first financed my car up the street. I'll be back for another after oil change. Thanks for a positive experience Mr. Brumfield, kindness, concern and empathy goes a long way. Thanks for keeping your Express Lane moving with pure positivity and upbeat vibes.

Matt Bowers Service Center used to be professional however, there has been a serious decline in customer support, integrity and attention to detail.I scheduled my appointment online a week prior to my actual appointment. Once I arrived, I was told they were backed up and couldn't get me in that day. I should have received a call to notify me of that before I drove 35 minutes to the Matt Bowers establishment.The time before, when I came in for repair on a part that was hanging from the back of my suv, they told me they had to do a diagnostic test. That was fine and I told my service person I had Endurance Warranty. Of course, this meant he ran a diagnostic test and found a litany of issues with the truck. From, ac issues to motor issues to electric issues you name it they had it on the diagnostic test. My service rep never discussed the problems with me to make a an of action. He simply eagerly called the warranty people to file claims. Even they were suspicious. In the end, because of his dishonesty I took my suv and left.The scam is this: If they find out you have a warranty they will "find" something(s) to fix and still charge you out the yin yang for things that's are not covered by the warranty and things you never needed. When I told my service representative today to talk to me before talking to my warranty service, I absolutely caught the look between him and his coworker.Just be aware.

The communication is pretty dysfunctional. I had my vehicle towed with the understanding I would receive a call once it was received. This happened on a Friday. No call. No text. No email. I had to call them on Monday 1030am to ask for an update. My service contact was out on an emergency so a message was delivered. I received a text saying my car would be diagnosed and update on following day. Wednesday I received a text and emailed stating the findings. I approved only one action and there was a recall action to be completed. It was a recall I had completed at the dealer 4 years ago where under warranty I got my work done on this vehicle. I called to make sure it was known that said recall had already been completed. Apparently there was no record with the dealer however I have paperwork. My vehicle was Saud to be ready in morning 930am for puck up. I arrived right around 930. Then proceeded to wait over 30 minutes to " locate my car." The experience was pretty frustrating and I haven't even told the story of my experience getting the transmission from them...

I've tried chevy dealers around the area, matt bowers is the best. Also GM is on the head of his business, always aroundThat's always a good sign!!!At the end of the day perfection doesn't exist but they try!

As a business owner I know the importance of customer service, and customer satisfaction. This service center lacks both. They also lack the ability to repair vehicles. I took one of my trucks there for a repair. 5 days after dropping the vehicle off, they gave me a call and said it was fixed. Within 36hr the check engine light was back on for the same issue. Days later I am told that it is the same issue that I had just paid them to fix the week before. They wanted more money to repair it again. :/ Plus I am without the vehicle for another 5+ days.PLEASE CHOOSE ANYWHERE ELSE TO HAVE YOUR CAR OR TRUCK REPAIRED. YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID. ***ONLY HAVE YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE IF YOU ENJOY HAVING A BAD EXPEREINCE, AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Auto maintenance

ONCE YOU CAN GET THROUGH TO A SERVICE PROVIDER, they generally provide a quick fix to your problem. The service department is good, but recent Chevrolet products aren't. Look for another auto brand because these newer Chevrolet products will keep you visiting their service department!

I called and they got me in right away. Needed an HID headlight on my Traverse which is a big operation. Del was super helpful. Kept me informed about everything and was a really nice guy. In my experience this is not typical service from a dealership and Matt Bowers and especially Del get high marks.On a side note. The cost of these headlights should be discounted to new car buyers. It s is ridiculous that it costs over $600 and a 3-4 hour stay at the service center for a headlight. Chevrolet shows poor regard for its costumer

The vehicle was there over a week. I was not told what was happening, I had to contact them to know that parts were being ordered and that it would take several days. When I finally got it back the tech that brought it around left a lingering odor if cigarette smoke. Will not be returning to this service center.

I bought a used car from Matt Bowers, and this is my 2nd time getting oil change at there service center in Metairie. I was suppose get first oil change free. I forgot the paper work so on me. But it took them about 7 hours to do a oil change. They told me the next one be free. My wife took the car in today and they charged for it. Go figure, don't take anyone word get it in writing.Service: Oil change

Very Satisfied. Brought truck in because AC went out and had recall on brakes. Showed up at 10:00 am and the job took 6 hours. In mid summer, AC in a truck is a must! Carlos my service rep inside along with the mechanics in back went above and beyond to turn around my truck in same day! Can t thank them enough!

My 2-star rating does not represent Matt Bower s customer service by any means. In fact, the people at Matt Bowers are some of the friendliest you ll meet. However, the friendly customer service here does not make up for their shoddy business of selling un-serviced and unsafe used cars.Al in sales and Delshone in service are both great men who were very helpful and friendly. Delshone even took my word on the free oil change coupon I received after purchasing my truck (although I didn t have it with me), and credited my service fees for the amount. My 2-star rating reflects how MB s business operates. I bought my used Chevy Silverado in mid-December 2021. After 4,000 miles of driving the vehicle, I have spent over $3,000 keeping the vehicle on the road, and was recently quoted at the MB service center for another $3,500 + in repairs, all for issues related to suspension, new tires and a total A/C replacement. Neither the sales nor the service department was up-front about the costs that would need to be put into the vehicle only 2 months into owning it. If you are buying a used car, don t shop here. Moreover, do not trust the sales department s assurances that their used vehicles have been serviced and are safe to drive. Only 500 miles into driving the truck, one of the tires treads became completely separated while driving. The friendly customer service here is great, but allowing customers to drive off the lot in an unsafe, money-sucking vehicle is not.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Oil change

Love this place. As far as dealerships go. Matt Bowers Chevrolet us the Best. They are fast, friendly, knowledgeable. And the amenities offered to make you experience the best possible are great. Never have a bad experience here. And I love my new truck. I'll be a life long client.

My husband brought my 2020 Equinox there after hearing a popping noise and the engine power being reduced. Since, then we've had to bring it back 3 more times because it keeps happening. 4 times in about 2 weeks. Now we find out the engine is damaged and it will be until after the July 4th holiday before it's repaired. Warranty includes a loaner but they haven't provided one yet. They keep saying none are available. So out of all the Matt Bower dealerships, there's not one available loaner? We wouldn't even be in this situation had it been repaired correctly the first time. I bought it brand new in September of 2020. It shouldn't even be having these types of issues, especially after going to them for every oil change and purchasing every recommendation (upsell) they said we should do. I can't imagine how they managed a 4.4 rating because all I'm getting is the run around. Completely unsatisfied with them.

Really and truly they should have no stars. But they do deserve one for the techs who work on my sons car. It is so sad that when you are at home and no one answers the phone. Plus the car sat there for two days without even being looked at. We have car shield. Now in order to get work done the service technician has to call car shield to place claim. After two days it took me go sit there and baby sit this service technician get him to call shield. Just for him to make call and get the ball rolling. CRAZY

3rd and last time. Last 2 times I went there after they switched the workers that was originally there, they are always so busy to cater to the customer's needs. I feel after this it will be my time going. I feel it was only to upsale products. I paid 171.00 just to tell me I had a dead cell in my battery and no other diagnosis was done.so my car could not get a jump to fully diagnose. Its a ripoff

Bobby was a nice,kind, friendly and welcoming person at the Chevy service center and he came and explained what service I needed for my car and I told him what service to do and he kept me informed on the progress of my car.

I love Matt Bowers Collision Center !!!!They are the BEST !!!!No matter what I go in there for they ALWAYS take care of me and this morning was NO different.!!Larry, Mike, Joe... ya'll make me feel that you REALLY care about MY needs and ya'll want to help your customers,ya'll do a GREAT job with that!!!I love to show my appreciation to them by making them and their crew some sweet treats to enjoy, so this morning will be no different..I will be making them some treats and bringing it to them to show my appreciation for all their help!!Thanks guys I really appreciate ya'll!!!!Charlotte Franks

They had to order a part on Tuesday. Said it would be theft Wed. Didn't get it til Thurs. Other than that, staff was friendly. Service was fast when part finally arrived. I'll go back. Suzi in service dept was nice!!
