Provided great service. I brought car in for second opinion after another garage advised me I needed to get a new car. With 140k miles on I knew there had to be more life in it. Allen s was able to find the issue and fix it for a reasonable price. They saved me from having to get a new car note. Allen s will be my go to for car trouble going forward.

All work done to a standard of excellence that impressed me. My 1990 S10 needed speedometer, motor mounts, and valve cover gaskets and routine maintenance, and it was done right and priced fairly. This was my second visit and I will be back with my other vehicles for service. Great experience.

Got referred here by a friend .. Hands down the best mechanics in Metry. Even tho they were extremely busy Allen was still able to take my car in and finished the same day .. This is my first experience with Allen's automotive. I felt very welcomed. The minute I walked in I could tell it was a very professional place. Dennis at the service desk was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely come back regularly to have my truck serviced here.

Best experience with a car repair. I was in New Orleans on vacation when my car broke down. I had the car towed to them and they had it fixed the next morning. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn t have to remove my entire dashboard to replace the part that wasn t working saving me approximately $900 two other shops told me that s what it was going to require. This business is absolutely amazing. We were dealing with my warranty for a replacement engine and the warranty company was so horrible. Through it all these guys fought for us, kept us in the loop, were open and honest, and made me feel like I wasn't being taken advantage of. The warranty company left my car at Allen's from November 13th to Feb 2nd, refusing to do their job and therefore taking up space with Allen's. Even though I know Allen and his employees went through hell with my car situation, they were kind and I will definitely return if I ever need repairs again.

(This is a late post due) I had gone to three different spots in New Orleans and a mutual friend sent me here to take my BMW 550i with some overdrive issues and he saved me $6,000 job somewhere else wanted to over charge because it s a BMW engine. You have to take out the specific tools and their specialty is foreign vehicles. It was simple sensors and with the hard labor to get to replace the items. The crew here are honest with you and completely transparent. Those are most important key factors I needed to handle the issues with my car. Allen is the man he will not tell you wrong and what your car needs. I highly recommend this shop. Allen s mechanics are hard working, very professional, and highly efficient.I ll be bringing in my Honda CRV and Subaru Forester for the required tune ups.

Had a coil pack go out on my wife's VW Eos on a weekend getaway. Dropped it off that evening and it was done by mid morning the next day. Solid work at a fair price. Vehicle runs like a top again! Thank you fellas.

I am grateful to Allen and his team for their amazing customer service and quick turnaround. I really needed my car to get my mother to her dialysis appointment and they made sure I had it in time to take her. Additionally the team fixed another car issue I couldn't figure out for months. I highly recommend Allen's Automotive Service for your auto mechanic needs if you're looking for a mechanic you can trust. Alan gave me a quote for repairs I agreed with the quote. Four days later l get a call saying jeep is ready but bolts where rusted and harder to take apart and I had to charge you extra. Told him how much extra he tells me $1222.00. Not once did he call and tell me about the extra charges. So I meet with Alan to explain how he should have called me to tell me about the extra charges his response was I thought I called you sorry about that. I won't even bring my go cart to Alans for repairs. $1500.00 dollar job turn into a $2515.00. Thank you Alan for ripping off the working man. Then response to my review with lies what I said was the God honest truth. Take some responsibility Allen

Ridiculously great service.Amazing staff, decent prices, very transparent, and great atmosphere.It was my first time going to them. I looked them up online and figured I'd ask them for a rough price quote. They immediately took my car in, looked at it and did a diagnostics on the spot within 5-10min. A young guy named Junior explained everything to me at an understandable level and told me what the price would be & why.Seriously! The reviews are legit!!

Honest, straightforward, and fast service. Hard to find when looking for a good mechanic. Allen was was very friendly and professional. They fixed only what I asked them to, and got my car back on the road quickly. I would definitely recommend this auto shop to anyone looking to have common maintenance repairs done on their vehicle.

My regular mechanic retired about a year ago & I have been looking for someone I can trust & was honest ^ fair. A friend recommended Allen;s to me & I am so glad he did! Allen looked under my hood & told me what he thought it was & quoted me a price, He cleanded up all the oil on the engine & checked it out & called to inform me he still believed it was his original diagnosis. I told him to go ahead with the work & not only did he have the car ready for me the next day but the total was less than what he originally quoted! I have definitely found my new mechanic and will refer everyone I know to Allen's Automotive.

THE BEST Auto repair shop in town and honest to a fault!!!These guys are great! I've been a customer for several years now and I've never had a bad experience here. Not only are their techs first rate and knowledgeable, they also take the time to inform their customers on what the service diagnosis was but also how it was repaired. Their communication skills are excellent and their positive attitudes and enthusiasm are even better.I highly recommend these guys to anyone seeking a good, honest repair shop.Recommended

A friend recommended Allen's after I had to get my car towed. They showed me what was wrong with my vehicle, and gave me options. My car runs better than it has in years, and the prices were fair. (They may not be super "Tech-y"...do not expect text alerts, etc. DO EXPECT exceptional service & PEACE of MIND and a well repaired car!)

Great Service-honesty, integrity, friendlyAllen's Automotive was recommended to me by a neighbor for their great sevice, excellent work, and integrity in dealings with customers, so I gave them a shot. In my experience, Allen's lived up to their reputation and more. These days, honest mechanics who provide quality work and excellent customer service are just about nonexistent, so Allen's is a gem. I will certainly give Allen's all of my future business and will spread the word to anyone I know who is in need of automotive work.Service: Wheel alignment

Mr.Allen or Alien the owner he prefers me to call him that is a very reliable mechanic. I ve been bringing my cars there for years. He fixed my old 2002 Honda Accord, and still running until now. When I had a 2012 Dodge Journey during pandemic knowing a very bad head gasket, he didn t want to fix it due to they don t want to take my money!!! Proven at that time there s nothing that could be fixed. It was a selling scam by Don Bord Ford dealership. Today, I got a 2010 Toyota rav 4 sports with ce, 4wd, & trac lights he just fixed in 2 minutes without charged. Google showed that many people have been experiencing these problems w/ their Toyota Rav 4 and couldn t solve the problems, and also cost them a lot of money. So if you want to go a trustworthy, accountable, and great customer service mechanic go there and he won t disappoint you at all.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Honest and Great WorkMy truck was over heating so i managed to get it to Alllens Automotive.. which i live on the westbank. i told them what i thought it could be and hoped for the best. Well after they looked at it , all it was .. was the radiator and reservoir that had a leak that i could not detect . They could have told me something way more expensive BUT they did what they had to do to get me back on the road .This place is very honest and fair with prices i recommend them to anyone who can get there vehicle there. i could not pick my truck up due to work so my son picked it up for me and the next day i personally thanked Allen for the honesty and great work .

Amazing people. I never seen any car repair shop with such live environment. I brought my car for wheel alignment. Allen took a look at my car gave me an advise pertaining to the tire. They did the alignment and tire rotation. picked up the car on time. Everything worked out well. Prices are the lowest for wheel alignment. Definitely recommend them.

Took my car there for an aligmenal and I was very impressed with the service. It was going to be tight for me to drop my car at 8 am and go to work with my ride, but since Allen was there at 745 am on a Friday, I was able to drop it off a few minutes early. The service was as promised and the alignment when well. I am already planning on other care work there, since it is hard to find good mechanics.

We own a couple of buses and Allen and his crew always takes care of us with a good attitude and a fair price. He tells you what's wrong and gets it fixed. Would definitely recommend !

Awesome customer service Everyone was super helpful from the time I walked in until they finished my car. They fixed my car pretty quickly and prices were very decent! They are one of the few honest shops! Definitely recommend

I'm new in NOLA from NY and just purchased a Honda CRV.I was referred to Allen to have my car fixed. Alen was first able to fix my sway bar link at $60 which was quoted at $200+ at Midas. After that I had a lot of trust in them and let them replace my two tires and wind shield fluid tank, once again at a very reasonable price.Frankly speaking, he's the best and most honest mechanic I've ever seen and he kept me constantly updated. Car repair was fast, in and out in one day. Service was impeccable. I would recommend Allen to anyone who has a car problem.
