I was really, pleasantly surprised by this place. I've stayed in far more expensive hotels that were not as spotlessly clean as this. The room smelled good - no musty odor at all. The beds were clean and well made with no evidence of bugs and the sheets were decent quality and not worn out. The owner was cheerful and helpful.I lost my room key and although I was charged for it, the owner found the key, let me know and immediately refunded the key charge. That kind of honesty and integrity is very delightful when you find it.The next time I'm up this way and need to stay overnight, I'll be staying here without question.

Room is small but I knew that coming here. As for cleanliness, it's decently kept, but there were about 25 dead insects inside the bathroom and a check of underneath the mattress sheets showed about 4 dead bedbugs. I believe the room was recently fumigated so I'm not complaining there. Beds were actually really good and the pillows were clean and comfortable. The gentleman who helped me out was extremely kind and helpful and saved me from a bad experience with a motel across the street @ Starlight Motel. Terrible experience there but amazing one here. 4/5 but only because of cleanliness and smell. The price is fitting for the quality of what you get. Definitely wouldn't mind staying here again!

I like rustic places that I can sit outside the door and watch the world go by. This perfectly fit that description. It is no Waldorf Astoria; if you are looking for the major hotel experience with breakfast and room service forget this one - but if you want a no-frills comfortable place to sleep, look into this place. It is more reminding of a rustic hunting cabin. A room so small that you have to go outside to change your mind. No in-room security safe or iron. Didn't see any washing machines or dryers. But it has multiple door locks, a nice TV with reasonable channels, an open closet with extra hangers, a refrigerator, a microwave, comfortable bed, shower/tub, toiletries, three pillows, and a complimentary mint goodie in the bedstand. Lots of electrical outlets located conveniently. Didn't see an electrical outlet in the bathroom. It was near the refrigerator with a mirror and hair dryer. The ice machine was broken and checkout is a little earlier 10 am. I liked that the hotel is conveniently located and it's situated to make its own enclosed area so outsiders are too conspicuous to enter past the manager/gatekeeper. I'll go back when in Many, LA.

This motel owner is very unprofessional in my opinion. We went to rent a room for a week and he decided that I needed a king size bed . He then decided to tell me it was because of my size . With a business that's barely making it you would figure he would of appreciated my business not decided to be rude. Also he wanted to discuss condoms with me . He had no business talking to me like that . I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone . Plus the rates are outrageous .

It is an excellent place to stay its quiet,clean an the owner is genuinely a very nice man. I have been staying here on an off for couple months an he has been helpful an respectful.the rooms are clean an he cleaned them rite after the guest leave. He some times are cleaning an workin on these rooms from dark to almost dark sometimes. The wifi works good,they have fridges,microwaves,coffeemakers, cleaned an rooms. I appreciate his hospitality an would recommend this place to anyone needing a place to stay...

I stay here often and this last time I was pleasantly surprised. The once outdated motel in Many had received beautiful jewel colored renovations . When i drove up, for a minute, I didnt recognize American Inn.. It looks totally different .. exterior and interior had been updated. Wow!

This Motel is definitely getting better. The rooms are comfortable, and very clean. There is some remodeling going on and I bet the American Inn Motel , will be the nicest Motel in Many. It's a great location ,easy to find and Toledo Bend Lake is just minutes away.

This is my second stay here in this facility and each visit, the hospitality gets better. Whenever the customers are visible outside their rooms, i noticed the manager always check to make sure they're comfortable and that all is well. The rooms are cleaned meticulously with great care and the staff is very hospitable. For this kind of service and concern they rate 5 stars.

Doesnt look the best on the outside. However they jave really clean comfortable rooms. Freshly remodeled, a/c works exceptionally well. Plenty of towels, coffee pot & coffee, plus 2 refrigerators. I would definitely stay there again.

I'm a Independent Consultant, I pay my own expenses. So price is important to me, but so is a nice clean room. I first went down the road to an unmentioned motel, his rates were higher, but he also made claims about American Inn being outdated, and not anywhere to the level of his motel.Upon arriving I was quoted better rates, and was showed the room without me asking. To my surprise freshly painted, newly carpeted rooms. The room was appointed with a new HD TV, and had more channels than I'm used to getting.The gentleman at the front desk went out of his way to meet any needs I had. Usually. when staying on a weekly basis, my rooms is serviced a couple times a week. There it was serviced daily, and I was asked frequently if I was happy with the service. I guess I was happy as I stayed at the American Inn Motel for 8 weeks. In fact, I sent information to my work headquarters recommending them to all consultants who might be working in the area.Thanks for your service.... Room was a little small for the price, $62.70 inclusive. The owner was great. Great WiFi. Close to a convenience store (5 minute walk). Offers both smoking and non-smoking rooms. The dairy Queen across the street is, however, out of business

A good, albeit basic hotel room. Has a very basic hotel wifi that's free (thankfully), some cable, even though some channels have static so you have less than listed, pretty friendly staff, and it's within walking distance of a Dairy Queen and a gas station plus some other places. Their baseline room was $50 a night plus tax (as of the writing of this review. May be more or less!) which is good for what you're getting. May end up staying here again eventually.

Clean rooms, very nice and accommodating owners, great AC. We've stayed here many times and will continue. Way better than the motel down the street and has more parking in case you have a boat. I would recommend it. We had a nice "motel" experience.

I had to knock on a room door to get service. The man who attempted to take my information to get a room was extremely rude. He told me that my phone number shouldn't be written the proper numerical way because he couldn't understand it. "(���)���-����" I then asked for my drivers license back and told him I'll go somewhere else, thank you. He said "fine! Go then." And threw my drivers license at me. I'm not sure if the man was racist or if he was frustrated because he couldn't work a computer. Either way, I highly recommend not attending this place.

Well it's quite affordable for sure.The rooms are very small and their are no bathtubs only showers in the room.But the staff are very friendly and understanding folks.

Just needed a place to stay on the way home. Only thing we found available, but I would have rather kept driving. Sheets were clean. That is the only positive thing I have to say. Bathroom was awful, WiFi did not work, WAY overpriced!! $

The owner and operator (Raj) is one of the nicest most helpful people you'll ever meet I highly recommend this place for this gentleman alone not to mention the rooms are very clean and smell nice it is quiet and peaceful I would recommend this place to anyone staying in town
